Good, but definitely not as good as the original

Phrases Chosen: ok, good for maintenance
I absolutely loved Bare Essentuals Faux Tan from the first time I tried it-- the color wasn't orange, it was easy to apply and didn't streak on me (I didn't use the brush, I applied with my hands using gloves), and the color was instant and lasted. Fast forward to a year later and I go to buy a new bottle and it's changed-- "OK, new product packaging, no biggie". Wrong. BIGGIE. Not only did they change the pump so you need to pump 8-10 times to get an adequate amount that you used to get in 1 of the original, but the color is paler and doesn't stain your skin as well. It's great for *maintaining* a sunless tan once you have it down, but for starting fresh? Majorly disappointed. I'm now scouring the internet trying to find bottles of the original because I really don't want to have to start looking for another sunless tanning product again.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!!!

Can you use this on your face as well?
I saw that BE has both a face and body Faux Tan Body Sunless Tanner lotion, but I don't want to buy both of them. Can I just use the body lotion for my face as well? Is there a difference between the two at all in ingredients or anything? They both seemed to have the same descriptions, just different size bottles.
I'm in the same boat. I think the face one goes on a bit more sheer so you don't end up looking like you dunked your face in a vat of chocolate. What I've been doing and has worked really well is adding a bit of the regular tanner to my face moisturizer-- good color results, even application/no streaks, and I still get the benefits of a moisturizer without buying a 2nd product

I've only used the "old" faux tan and am wondering if the new product has a similar result.
I am able to purchase the "old" faux tan on OVC but like the idea of paraben free.
It doesn't. The pump gives you MUCH LESS product with each press and the color is more faint and doesn't last as long. I've been rationing what's left of my old tanner for when I need the color and then using this new one for maintaining to keep the color even or use on places it wears off faster (especially my hands, since, you know, washing).
If you can get a smaller/travel size to use first and make your own judgement, that would be best before spending the money on a full bottle and being disappointed
