The colors in the Power Neutrals palette are perfect and so easy to mix and match. Handy instructions are provided to give some guidance for a daytime/nighttime/trendy look (which I have taped to the inside of my bathroom mirror) and once I got comfortable with the different looks, it was just as easy to experiment with other combinations. The brush that comes with the palette is the mini version of the two-ended brush and makes the application of the shadows very easy. I also like to use their 5 in 1 cream eyeshadow in soft linen as a base which helps to keep the shadow from running away. I can't wait for bare minerals to come up with other 8.0 READY Eyeshadow combinations.

My go-to colors have always been the Honeymoon Phase (baby pink/glimmering gunmetal) but then I got the Glass Beach and all I can say is "wow." The colors in the palette are amazing and really looks like the beach. The "sea glass" is subtle and when blended with the "golden coast", makes my brown eyes pop.

Ever since I heard about bareSkin, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them to try. I've been a long time Bare Minerals user from the Original to the Ready Foundation but have always preferred a liquid foundation. I purchased mine when it was released and have been using it since. I followed other people's suggestions to use a primer and really a few drops goes a long way. I use the Perfecting Face Brush to apply and buff the product in and my skin looks and feels great. I am in between shades so I actually have both the Bare Linen and Bare Natural and when blended it is a perfect match, or it works just as well at a hint lighter or darker. I do think the "secret" is the primer and also to really buff the product into your skin for a natural look. My skin doesn't feel like it's wearing make up at all, and what girl can keep a secret?!?…I dragged my sister into the nearest retailer so she, too, can pick up her supply of bareSkin.

Which is better? Ready Foundation vs BareSkin Brightning Serum?
I'm curious for feedback from my fellow Bare Minerals loyal users. I began with Bare Minerals Original formula foundation but upon trying the Ready Foundation I fell in love with the Ready Foundation and use it loyally. I am curious about Bare Skin Brightening Serum but not sure if I will get the same results. So I'd like to know what other Bare Minerals users have found when comparing the two.
Hello: I've been a long time original formula foundation user but then switched to the ready foundation when that product came out. While I liked the ready foundation better because it was less messy so for me easier to use, I've always preferred a liquid foundation so you can imagine my excitement when I heard about bareSkin. I purchased the bareSkin when it came out and I can only tell you how much I love it. The results, I think, are way better than the powder. I'm able to control the amount and I think it goes on smoother and the skin feels amazing. The color also matches me better especially when season changes. Before this summer, I used a drop of linen plus a drop of natural (I was between colors), and now that I've had a little bit of sun, I use two drops of natural only. Hope this helps you! All I can say is, go and get a color match (Sephora does a good job) and give it a try.

When I use the BareSkin foundation, it settles into my pores making my skin look dry and pasty.
I use a primer before I apply it, and use about 2 to 3 drops of the foundation. I put it on in a circular motion like the video demonstrates. Am I doing something wrong?
Hello. I have very sensitive skin with dry patches especially around the chin area. I find that as long as I exfoliate, then apply moisturizer, primer (wait til it dries), and then buff in the BareSkin foundation, it blends in nicely without patches. I also prefer to build in the foundation, use a drop or 2, and add if needed because my entire face may not need the same amount. Perhaps an excess of the product might not get absorbed and just sits on the surface making it pasty?
