Using Shadows Instead

I'm giving this 2 stars based on other reviews, and the fact that I have always hated eyebrow pencils. I haven't tried it and don't plan to. When I first started using Bare Minerals years ago, I wasn't using anything on my brows, but during a visit to Sephora I tried the brow powder, and was hooked! Now I go to buy more (it lasted forever), and find Bare Minerals has removed it from their product line. What?!?!?!?!?!?! Im so disappointed. I can only hope that with all the negative reviews of the pencils, and the pleas to bring back the powder, BE will bring them back. In the meantime, I decided to try using some of the dark browns I have in my palettes and collections (7 Ways to Bare). Today, I used Boardroom in the Ready 8.0 Power Neutrals collection, and it's beautiful! I actually like it better than the Auburn brow powder I had been using. So, just in case they don't bring the powders back, and if you're currently looking for something else that you like as well as the brow powders, try eyeshadow! I would think with the range of light to dark colors BE has, blondes to dark haired ladies can find something that works. Good luck!

I couldn't wait and bought this from QVC and when it arrived, watched their video on how to apply. I find that following application directions on any BE product I try always gives me optimal results. I absolutely love this foundation! I like full coverage and use a total of 4 drops, 2 at a time for each side of my face. I use the BE primer, and the foundation stays looking fresh all day. It doesn't settle into the fine lines under my eyes, or anywhere else. When I asked my niece how my makeup looked, she said my skin looked great, and it didn't even look like I was wearing makeup. The brush is absolute heaven! All of the product goes on your face, the brush actually still looks clean after application. My skin tone has improved with use. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues. I love the original and Ready foundations, and now I have another foundation to love. Congratulations on this new product, BE!

Not For Me

I thought I would really like a cream concealer, but it makes my eyes burn when I use it around them, and actually makes the rosacea on my cheeks, on either side of my nose, act up. I get little red itchy blisters. The coverage is ok. It covers the little imperfections on my face well, but doesn't work so well to cover the circles under my eyes. The regular Bisque powder concealer works much, much, better at concealing everything. I have the Medium 1, and Light 1 and 2. I really should have gotten the Medium 2 for medium neutral tones. I still might try it, but I won't ever stop using Bisque. For me, that is the miracle concealer!

I Love This Stuff

I used to used this years ago when it was marketed under the Rare Minerals name. I don't know why I stopped using it. I'm thinking maybe it was because of the applicator. I vaguely remember it was a spongey puff and my moisturizer would rub off onto it during application, and it would get icky and clog. I remember I used to wash it. Yup, that's probably why. Thank goodness they changed it to that luxurious brush, I love it! It goes on easy with no waste. I use the clear and my skin looks so fantastic, all glowy, when I go to bed, AND when I get up. I liked it a lot then, but I love it now, with that brush. Over time it really improves skin tone and minimizes pores. In fact, after using it again for just a few nights, I already see the difference. Thank you BE!!!

What color should I order in the Brow Styler
My hair color is eggplant and my eyebrows are black and grey. Do I get the dark or the light? I want my eyebrows to appear thicker.
Try using an eyeshadow for your brows. I've been doing this since they discontinued the brow powder, and I love the results. Play around with different colors until you find one or more you like.

When are you bringing back the eyebrow color in brunette????
Why would you do away with such a good product. Eyebrow pencils do NOT look natural..
Try using a dark brown eyeshadow. I was using the Auburn brow color and have found several shadows I like as well, or better. Thank goodness i still have my brush!

How do I tell if I am a cool or warm undertone?
I have fair, Oregon skin, blue eyes, and dirty blondish hair. I think I am cool, but I don't know how to tell. What's the trick.
If you burn in the sun you most like are a cool tone. If you tan easily, warm. If you burn then tan, neutral.

Shade Matching
I use Ready foundation (love it!) in medium beige AND golden medium together. They work great together for me. I'm really wanting to try this concealer but can't decide which shade. I'm blonde with medium skin and with quite a bit of red from rosacea. I will use this mostly around my eyes. Have been using Well Rested for a long time but need a little more coverage. The light 1 seems a little too pinkish. Someone mentioned this concealer runs a little dark so I think medium might be too dark. I don't have a boutique in my area. Any advice is much appreciated!
I think the key to which one to try would be looking at the Find Your Perfect Shade link. You say you have Medium skin, so I would say either Medium 1 or 2, but it would depend on if you're a cool or warm or neutral tone. If you're using Medium Beige and Golden Medium together, you probably have a warm to neutral tone, and that would be the Medium 2 in the concealer. I've found that following the site's shade matching advice works well for me when I'm selecting a shade. I hope this helps. God luck!
