LOVE this Moxie

Phrases Chosen: so striking!
I bought this color when it was featured in one of the email fliers. It is not nearly as 'sticky' as the other Moxies, though I have no preference either way. It also doesn't have the same taste as the other Moxies (I swear it has a slight chocolate mint essence...or is that just my imagination?) and has very subtle color variation with light refraction but is for the most part very sheer, so as to not be tacky or overdone as it looks like it has the potential to be in the tube. Seems to last, which is nice since I'm a chronic lip biter. I also love how it can totally change the look of my lipsticks when applied over the top as well. So versatile I would wear this solo for a casual look on a daily basis or as a lipstick topper for special occasions or nights out!

I have dark circles (mild-moderate) and nothing I've tried except one type of concealer has really helped much. I use this at night after taking off my eye makeup, as the removers always makes me feel like I've done a disservice to my eye area. It's instantly soothing and feels soo wonderful. I bought the 30mL since I was expecting to really go through this stuff, but a little goes a lonnngg way! I use it under my eyes and under my brow. I use the Rev-er-Upper in the AM to take care of whatever circles are still clinging on.

I have frequent mild-moderate dark circles from not sleeping through the night...and probably some genetics as well. I tried another company's product with a roller ball and wand and it literally did NOTHING. I thought it was a lost cause, but the lovely in store expert talked me into trying this, despite not having a tester, and I'm so glad I did. I'm not sure of the long-term benefits, but it definitely helps to diffuse my dark circles and feels wonderful too!

I bought 10 of these the last time I was at the Outlet -- it is really amazing at how different these look based on the degree of layering/blending and whether they're applied wet or dry. So versatile and fun to mix and match. I always have a little trouble with the messiness of the loose powder pots, but these are so fun and there's so much in them that I don't mind a little spillage.

Found it when I was doing a clear-out of my makeup the other day. The label is in a foreign language, so I'm guessing I picked it up at the Outlet. Regardless I was shocked I'd never even removed the seal, so tried it out and was very please at how beautiful it is. Normally I don't like greens this dark, but it blends so perfectly that I can adjust how light it ends up and it's gorgeous!

I've got several of these in various colors and love all of them. I personally think they're easier than the loose powder pots, but the applicator definitely has its limitations....which are easily solved by using a brush. I still have to use primer with these despite these being long-wearing, otherwise they crease in about 4 hours...though with a primer they last until I clean them off.

I LOVE both the Gold Medal and the Meterorite and use them together and individually to blend with other colors and add a bit of pop with their bright shimmer! The Gold is actually a little more gold on me than in the picture and I'd say the meteorite is represented just about perfectly in the picture -- they're both gorgeous! I too was skeptical about the applicator, but it's spring loaded and doesn't go all the way to the end of the tube when closed, so shaking the powder around a bit gets it good and loaded, but it is a bit cumbersome when I want to apply it with a little more precision than an applicator can handle, but this is easily solved by using one of my gazillion other eye shadow brushes to collect the shadow off the applicator or from the tube. And it's still less messy than the little pots and travels very well!

I don't usually like the 'glow', but...

I'm a big fan of the matte powders and don't really use brighteners or luminizers, but I got this in Love Affair in a kit I purchased and I reluctantly tried it. WOW. I use the feather light brush, swirl it very lightly, tap it off, and lightly dust it on and it is absolutely the right about of glow in a nice subtle (lighter than a bronzer) shade on my skin (I usually use the fairly light or fairly medium powder depending on how much sun I've gotten). The first time I used it, I actually didn't swirl my brush all that lightly and it was WAY too much shimmer and color, but that just proves that this can easily be built upon if you're not satisfied with the coverage with just a light dusting. Sometimes I put it under my powder if I want it to be even more subtle or I'll even wear it by itself when I go without the whole makeup routine. I'd buy a backup, but I think with the little bit I use to give me that healthy glow that this large compact is going to last me a very long time!

Does this have caffeine in it?
I don't like using products that have caffeine in them. It is not listed in the ingredients, but I know that sometimes it is listed under a different name in order to hide it.
It does not. Caffeine would most likely be called methylxanthine or trimethylxanthine and neither of these are in the ingredients.

does it only cover OR does it get rid of the dark circles as well?
I don't like to spend a lot of money that things that just cover up the dark circles. I want to able to get ride of them as well. I get enough sleep but it's just till now i notice how dark they're getting. Please help me answer my question :)
I've only been using this for about 3 weeks, but as far as long term benefits to get rid of the dark circles I don't believe it's intended for that. It helps to moisturize, thus the fine line benefit, but as I understand it it is the small little 'pearls' of iridescence that help to refract light (brighten?), concealing the dark circles underneath. I have mild-moderate circles and use it every day to help with that, along with some other products as needed and I haven't noticed it doing anything to actually diminish them over time....that'd be the holy grail!

does this also work for genetic eye circles? (bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper)
i have very bad eye circles that my mom and her mom passed down to me, does this product also work for that too?
That's part of my problem too...along with lack of sleep. I'm not sure that this has a long-term benefit, but it does the job of diffusing out some of the darkness for me on a day-to-day basis. I have mild-moderate dark circles and I also use a variety of other products on top of this when they're particularly dark.

Are all BE eyeshadows so shimmery?
I've purchased 2 BE eyeshadows and they're both so shimmery. Are they all that way? I'd prefer some that are matte and less Las Vegas-esque for work. This set appears to be toned down. Are they? Thanks.
Nope, they have a good collection of matte, slightly shimmery, and wildly shimmery -- I like to shop at my local Bare Minerals store to try them out, but I've bought online only to realize it's a no-go and just swapped them at the store.

Are any of these shade available individually?
I was looking for eyeshadow in a shade like the Pearl Sateen (vanilla cream) or some of the other lighter accent shades, but haven't seen them on their own.
The Bare Minerals Outlet in Carlsbad, CA has them individually, so maybe you can find them at your local store on their own.

Do these eyeshadows stay on very long or do they wear off easily?
Wondering if these shadows last through the day or if you have to reapply multiple times throughout the day
If I forget to use primer they do wear off within a few hours (~4-6) for me, but with primer I've woken up the next day (guilty!) with them still in place!
