Love the Velvet Cream

I'm a fairly light in the original foundation and the velvet cream shadow works wonderfully. I love to use it as an overall eye base and to brighten those areas that I want brightened too. This product could probably work nicely for most skin tones. I will have to try the other colors because the vanilla is the first one I've ordered from the velvet line. I am sure I will find many that I will love.

about the nano-particles
Does the foundation contains the microparticles (nanoparticles) or is it not nano?
I found this in the Learn section. Here is the copy and paste that I just found, "ActiveSoil Complex, the exclusive ingredient in our bareMinerals Skincare line, incorporates a comprehensive blend of potent macro and micro minerals to increase cell turnover, improve luminosity and help your skin defend against environmental stressors. "

How do I prevent the foundation from settling into wrinkles and accentuating them?
Original loose foundation.
Have you had this problem already or is it a concern for purchasing? I have not had this happen. Do you tap the brush before starting to take off access product? Start with less powder and then add more if needed. Start around the outside of your face initially and buff inward. Add more powder if you then feel you need more. The original tends to help moisturize so it should help prevent this. Also, if you start with a translucent hydrating mineral veil that should help a lot. The veil also helps you get a more even coverage. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure but if you do a quick check online you will see that there is no evidence of nano particle absorption by human skin. Just something I thought you might want to know. It was an unsubstantiated concern.

You might want to look into the Golden Medium. It might be something for you.

Velvet Pistachio Eyecolor (crushed mint) (size: small)

are these shimmary or matte?
normally velvet means matte but the pictures look like they have shimmer in them
Hello Kate. When I saw your question I went upstairs and took a close look at the vanilla cream velvet eyecolor. It is matte with no sparkle or shimmer. When I applied it to the back of my hand wet, it just gave me a darker shade of cream that was slightly tan or skin colored. I believe the other colors are made from the same formula but I have not tried them yet. Hope this helps.
