Pros: versatile, essential
This is one of your 3 essentials - foundation, warmth, mineral veil. This is the minimum makeup trifecta to have for that perfect natural look. Yes, warmth gives definition when used on hollows of cheek, color as a light blush on apple of cheek, great on brow for a natural eyeshadow. I even use my radiance on my lips! I have a few of the old Buzz latte lip balm and I dip the balm in the radiance then swipe on my lips - gives you a light natural color. You can use any colorless balm - first base would due. I find that the soft focus face brush works well for application.

I absolutely love the coverage of BE, but my skin seems quite pale, colorless and flushed. Would this help with my pale skin? What would add color?
I have fair skin, blue eyes, and blond hair.
Join the club. Take from another fair skinned, blue eyed blonde who has been using Bare Minerals since the late 90's - MIX. In the Summer I put a little Faux Tan into my base foundation. In the winter I use Clear Radiance. Sometimes I mix the Clear Radiance in the mineral veil and sometimes I apply straight. The colors on the computer are not the same as in person. Clear Radiance is a really light pink that will give your skin a dewy fresh lift that makes your skin look like a baby's. I use warmth almost every day very lightly as a blush/cheek definer, and will sweep a light amount over forehead and on eyelids to give a sun kissed look.

Will this work with porcelain fair skin?
Im extremely fair. Its impossible for me to tan.
Since it's summer, I was hoping to add some color to my face.

Would this work on my fair skin?
If not, what all-over face color would?

Thanks! :)
I am fair, use fairly light foundation. I found that using a little Faux Tan mixed in my foundation (mix in a lid with your all over face brush or kabuki)gives a much better tan look to my face than using warmth. Faux Tan is brown which leads to tan look.Warmth has a red/orange undertone that doesn't look quite right. Watch Faux Tan- It tends to go on too dark unless you dilute it a little. Best to start with an amount that looks like it will do nothing and build the color. FYI using a little in the winter perks up your complexion.

Glee to go...
I travel a fair amount, and I usually just put all the little BE containers in a bag in my suitcase. However, since Glee and many of the other face colors don't have the same locking mechanism as the foundation, many times all of the powder shakes out into the lid. Any suggestions for keeping it in place?
Wipe off the sifter holes and put a piece or two of of masking tape over the sifter holes. Be sure to fold over the end so you have a handle to grab to pull off the tape. I will then only pull off the tape for 1-2 holes while I am away and then if the tape does not stick back down going home, it is much less of a mess. You can always stick a little extra tape on the top of the lid to use going home.

How to Keep This from Going On Too Dark
Help! I'd love to add just a little warmth to my face, as this product is designed to do. But it goes on too dark, so I look oddly dark on my face. I've tried putting it on with the fan brush, but then I don't see any additional color in my face at all.

Any tips and tricks in terms of applicator brush to apply it with and how to get the color just right?

(FYI -- I'm a warm "light" -- I use Fairly Light if I'm really pale, but usually I'm Golden Fair, or Light.)

Thanks!
A very little goes a long way. I close the lid dump the pot upside down then right side up. Tap the lid then open. This should leave a light dusting of warmth powder across the lid. swirl your brush in this then tap. then Lightly brush over face. If this is too light repeat to desired level of color. I also have found that the soft focus face brush also works better with the warmth. As an alternative, swipe your brush lightly across a dry wash cloth to remove some of the color from the brush before applying. FYI - I have been using Bare Minerals since the late 90's and only had 2 containers of warmth. My second is still going strong. That said I use warmth daily, so that shows you how little you need when you are fair.
