How do I prevent the foundation from settling into wrinkles and accentuating them?
Original loose foundation.
I am 60 yrs. old and have MANY wrinkles. I find BM foundation Original Formula does NOT settle into the lines as aggressively as many liquid foundations. Liquids appear not
to settle in at first; the initial application appears to glide over fine lines. But check your face later in the day; this was a source of constant frustration to me; the liquid foundations gathered in the creases and I'd have to rub the color out of them.
FIrst rule: use the primer, don't skip this step, it fills in the lines and
prepares your face for the foundation.
Once you get your brush prepared with the powder, buff your BM powder foundation gently in a circular motion for at least 60 seconds,
going over and over the same spots; you should achieve beautiful results that last all day.
I have not changed my skincare routine at all, yet people are complimenting me constantly about the way my skin looks since I switched to Bare Minerals. This makeup has received some negative reviews regarding aging skin and I am writing to tell you it's all about the application. I was first shown how to use BM in a beauty store and the girl applied it
like blush, it looked awful. Once I was shown the circular buffing method the difference was incredible.
My wrinkles are not going away, I can live with that. But with Bare Minerals I don't have that over-made up look as many aging women do... I look natural and as I've been
