I had never found a concealer I liked, until now. They were always too thick, settled into fine lines under my eyes, captured my makeup in those lines, and ended up making things look worse. When I expressed my displeasure with the darkness under my eyes, the consultant at my BE store suggested this product, tried it on me, and gave me some FABULOUS tips for its use: Apply this ON TOP of your foundation, not the other way around, and do not apply it directly to your undereye area with the applicator. Put on your foundation FIRST (an absolute must), then roll the applicator of the Stroke of Light onto the back of your hand so there is a little blob of it. Using your ring finger, pick up a smooth light film of the Stroke of Light and apply and blend it gently into your undereye area. Do NOT buff foundation powder on top of it. (I still use mineral veil as my final makeup step, but I try to keep it away from my undereye area as much as possible.) I am ecstatic with the results, and that is no exaggeration!! My undereyes look soft and smooth, any lines are greatly diminished, and there is no dryness in the area at all; my eyes look bright and lively all day. Best of all, my undereyes seem to look better the longer I use it. I don't ever want to be without this product again. My thanks and praise to the consultant for not only suggesting a great product, but for giving me the tutorial and tips to use it for wonderful results!

I have used Bare Minerals for quite some time, but noticed as my skin matured that it wasn't settling quite the same way on my skin. One of the consultants in the BE store suggested trying this primer, and I am deeply thankful to her. I actually tried two steps: I increased my moisturizer a bit this winter (my skin is drier this year than ever before) and added the primer before putting on my makeup. What a difference it has made!! This stuff makes my skin feel like silk. My BE makeup goes on very smoothly and looks fresh all day. I get a lot of compliments that I have such nice skin, especially for my age, and I am glad to have a makeup that keeps my complexion looking light, fresh and luminous. Definitely try the Foundation Primer; it makes a big difference!

Soft, silky; need very little pressure to apply

I love this eyeliner!! Everyone who is complaining that it is too soft, leaves clumps, and/or wears down too fast must be using sooo much more pressure to apply it than I am. Please, you don't need to be so heavy-handed using this eyeliner. I, for one, am very concerned about developing wrinkles, etc., so I am always as gentle with my skin as I can be, especially around my eye area. This liner glides on so easily, like silk. Some liner pencils are so hard that you have to use a lot of pressure to get the color to transfer to your eye, or they tug at your eyelid as you use it. Not this one!! Since I can be so gentle with it, I haven't had a problem with it wearing down right away. I also hold it at a slight angle to my eye (not pressing directly down on the tip) and use short quick strokes, so maybe that helps to maintain the point. Be sure to use the Bare Minerals sharpener; it is inexpensive and so much better than cheap drugstore sharpeners. Also, I have had lots of problems in the past with other liners bleeding, smudging and fading. Again, not this one. Put it on in the morning, it stays put, and it looks just as good at the end of the day as it did when I applied it. I have no problem getting either a fine line or a heavier dramatic one, depending on my needs. All in all, this is a great eyeliner and I am so happy with it. Ladies, be gentle to your eyes and use a light touch--they will thank you in the future!!

I have suffered from rosacea for years and, even with treatment by a dermatologist, have never been able to control the redness on my cheeks and chin. During a recent shopping trip to a Bare Minerals boutique, one of the consultants there suggested this product. Although I was skeptical, I agreed to have the consultant show me how to use the product and apply it to my problem areas. I was quite happy with the immediate look: it covered all of the redness and capillaries without looking yellow at all. Even more surprising, when I awoke the next morning and washed my face, the redness was visibly diminished. I was pleasantly stunned! I have used it for the last three nights after washing and moisturizing my face before bed, and the change is dramatic already. My skin looks so much calmer, better than it ever has with any other treatment. I have used Bare Minerals concealer and foundation to successfully cover my redness but, even better, this product is literally taking the redness away. After only three days, I am no longer using concealer on these areas, and the amount of foundation needed on my face has lessened, so my makeup is even more natural looking than before. I am ecstatic! I definitely will continue to use Redness Remedy, and pray that the results will only improve with prolonged use. Please continue making this product; it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience for me! I firmly believe Bare Minerals products are the best I have ever used!!

How is this different from the mineral foundation I use to cover the redness?
I'm curious why I would need another product. The BE mineral foundation powder covers the red.
Like you, I also used other Bare Minerals products to cover the redness. This product is different in that it helps to CALM your skin and FADE the redness. I use it at night after washing and moisturizing, AND UNDER my foundation during the day. My redness has visibly diminished. Also, I found that the amount of foundation I needed to use really lessened, because the redness was covered more effectively with less of the Redness Remedy product than the amount of foundation I previously had to use in order to achieve the same redness coverage. My makeup looks lighter and more natural as a result. I love my Bare Minerals makeup and will never stop using it. However, when it comes to redness issues, this product covers MUCH more effectively AND takes the redness away. I am so happy I tried it!!

Any way to purchase the brush alone, and will this product harm my skin if I don't suffer from redness?
I don't have redness but wanted a double-ended countour angled brush, and this looks perfect! If not, would this product harm my face if I do use it (would it even be suggested for my skin type if its considered normal) and don't suffer from redness?
The brush included is not angled. It is more like the flawless application brush, but perhaps with a little more coverage. If you don't suffer from redness, I think you would be better off looking at the full line of Bare Minerals face brushes; there are angled brushes there.

Should I apply this at night before or after the night treatment?
Should I apply this at night before or after the night treatment?
The instructions with the product say to use if after cleansing and moisturizing, so I think it should be used after the night treatment. It is a powder, like the original foundation, so it makes sense to use it after liquids or creams.

This covered up my redness very well, and this product calms your skin, so the redness is fading as well. It does both!!
