Creamy concealer

I love this concealer! Using the max coverage concealer brush, I can apply just the right amount to blemishes, slightly red areas, and wind up with a perfect canvas for BE foundation. It's creamy, yet not heavy. I've found that this works best when applied to just moisturized skin, blend, and wait a minute or two before buffing in my BE matte foundation, proceed with the rest of BE makeup and topping with BE hydrating mineral veil. The only time it is cakey at the end of the day is when I have a particularly troublesome blemish that may be rather dry. Will definitely continue to use the Correcting Concealer; with very fair skin, I've been color matched to use Light 1, and it's perfect for me.

I received a sample of Well Rested Face & Eye Brightener in a Sephora bonus. I was skeptical, but was incredibly surprised at how well it works. It's so easy to use, and is perfect for highlighting right under my brows, the inside and outside corners of my eyes. I love the pen format. I don't tend to have under eye circles, so I can't speak for how well it handles that issue. It's not sparkly, or shiny, just a nice highlight. If I use it in the morning, adding a tad more at the end of the day is a nice refresher. Once the sample's gone, I'll definitely be buying more!

Hydrating Mineral Veil smooth as silk

I began using the Original Mineral Veil two months ago which was great, but recently switched to Hydrating as my combination skin became dryer in spots, despite using an oil-free moisturizer. I thought the Original was a fine powder...Hydrating is even more so. It makes my skin feel smooth as silk! It has the complete day-long, air-brushed look of the Original, with hydration to boot, without looking shiny at the end of the day. I don't think I could ask for more of this product, it's a must-have. It does come out VERY quickly though, even with having only one of the sifter holes open. My recommendation to BE would be to have smaller sifter holes for extra fine products like Hydrating Mineral Veil. I LOVE my Hydrating Mineral Veil!

I was truly excited for this brush...

I was, it was in such a handy retractable package, and the bristles were SO SOFT! Until I used it...and it began to shed. And not just a little, there were bristles all over me, the sink and the floor. I'm positive that I just received a defective brush. I'd ordered two online and have just opened one, and plan to take both back to a BE Boutique near me. I hope they'll take both back as I still have the receipt. The vast majority of other posters love theirs, and I love all the brushes that came with my starter package; hence my high hopes. Will try other brushes at a later time. The one star is because of the packaging and the soft bristles, and the confidence that it was just a defective single brush.

Key to vibrant eyes!

I purchased the Prime Time Eyelid Primer at a BE Boutique. I'd been using the Matte & Mineral Veil for a few weeks, loved it & decided to branch out to other products. I experimented with the READY eyeshadow I purchased, with & without the Eyelid Primer. What a difference when using the Primer-it lived up to the claims and then some. It's amazing! The shadow application was more smooth (if that's possible), colors were more vibrant, & it still looks exactly as I've applied them in the morning at the end of a long day. It's a daily part of my eyeshadow routine to bring the Bare Minerals colors to life. You only need a tiny dab of this product to spread from lashline to brows, so the tube will last an incredibly long time. So far, I've loved all the Bare Minerals products I've tried!

Well-Rested Face and Eye Brightener
How do you open this pen? My husband & I both turned the tip clockwise. Nothing's happening.
I can't get this pen to work.
You pull the cap off to reveal the brush tip. Then, you hold the center of the pen itself and turn the base clockwise to have the brightener come up through the center of the brush tip. The first time, it takes 5-10 turns to come up through the brush. After that, just one turn, but each turn lasts a bit.

How to apply the primer?
This is my first time getting an eyelid primer it came in the flirty & fabulous kit that I baught and im unsure on how to really use this
It was my first time using an eyelid primer too. The folks at the BE Boutique showed me how to use it; amazingly easy. Just put a tiny dab on your finger, rub it between same finger of opposite hand to evenly distribute and apply to your eyelids from lashline to brows. Then apply eyeshadow over that.
