Ugh. I bought 2 shades and they don't look a thing on my lips as they did in store or tube or online. While that's sometimes true of lipstick , there's good reason here. First it's greasy and feels slimy. Blotting just made it look less greasy but made me look like I needed lipstick. Next the colors are much more vivid on the lips but hey, they do say highly pigmented so I should have figured that out. Stand Out is a nice color so I'm going to wear it at night. I bought it thinking it looked neutral enough for day. Not! More like a reddish than rosewood. Speak Your Mind looked like (shiny!!) peach on me. Looked like a neutral pinkish in tube and store. I have the original lipsticks and love them. No greasy feel and truer colors so I'm sticking with them.

After both reading some negative reviews plus loving my matte foundation, I didn't think I'd switch. The mess of the powder and travel non-friendliness empowered me to try, and I'm SO glad I did. I love this even more than my matte. I use less, it's easier and faster to apply, and (if this is possible with BE looking so natural), it's even more natural looking. My skin looks flawless, and I'm done applying in all of a minute. Another plus for me is I hardly have to use my concealer (BE powder concealer ) because this conceals so well. I find it even gets rid of my awful under eye darkness. Since I've read so many negative reviews, I thought I'd mention a few things. First, make sure your moisturizer and primer are totally dry. Next, you need the Precision brush because you need to PRESS, and being flat, this brush makes that easier to do. Next, oh my gosh do NOT swirl, tap, and buff and don't think you need to use as much. You'll make a mess and it will look awful. Just like the video, press, then apply long strokes. Then maybe another light coat. You don't want to see product on your brush or you've used too much. Also, if you like the original's non-matte look, you might not like this. It looks creamy and matte-- no glow. I spent the time writing this because I love the product and hope I can help others who perhaps used it incorrectly. Can't speak for breakouts here because neither matte nor Ready bothered me. It has different minerals in it so that's possible. I love it and my skin looks fantastic, which it is not without BE!

This cleanser deserves 10 stars. I have sensitive skin and can't use exfoliants. Apricot scrubs and that sort break me out terribly. I use and love Purifying Cleanser, and after reviews and a comment from an Ulta rep, I bought this. Can't say enough about how extra healthy my skin feels or how much softer and younger. There is NO gritty feeling, and once you start washing, it actually gets creamier as you go. I use this in the morning and Purifying followed by this at night. I wear mascara and shadow so I feel it best to first use Purifying to get that stuff off, then the exfoliant. If you ever (and I do in winter especially) have dry flakes, this is the cleanser solution. Anything else I ever used to "de-flake" caused instant breakout and rash. Love, love, love this!!!!

As a BE newbie, I figured I could use brushes from another mineral makeup with my matte foundation because they were similar BE brushes. Not a good idea. The foundation was flying everywhere and the coverage wasn't exactly right. I talked to a rep who mentioned this one was different so I gave it a shot. It's become the only brush I'll apply my foundation with because it really is totally unlike any other brush. The bristles are tighter but so soft! First, you'll get the foundation or concealer on faster. Next, you can more easily navigate tight areas like the sides of your nose or under eyes. The bristle edges are more defined so you ban even use the edge to apply concealer. There's nothing like it, IMO, and it was worth every penny.

I'm new to BE but had tried a high-end mineral makeup awhile back so I had 2 different (and $$) brushes from same. Figured they were all the same so I'd not splurge. After a few weeks of the mess of flying mineral makeup and need to apply several layers for good coverage, I finally bought this brush. What a difference the proper brush makes! This one covers quickly and feels so much softer! I also like the more defined edges because I can get into tight areas like the sides of my nose easily. And this brush wastes far less makeup. If you splurge on one brush, make it this one--worth every penny. Love it!!

I'm newly addicted to BE. I started with primer and foundation and I was amazed. That being said, I wanted to try other products and started with blush. I decided Joyous J. sounded like a shade that wouldn't be too loud, not shimmery (not the shimmer type!), and enhancing to my neutral skin. This color is it--it's the bomb!! Looks like I have a natural flush and is versatile enough to wear with most color combos. I think it's because it's not a red and not a pink. Sort of a natural flush look, which would compliment most anyone. You can't go wrong with this one!

Tried the original some years back and was so disappointed. I ended up looking shiny, and worse, got broken out after a day of wearing. I really wished they'd take out whatever made it "shiny" so I could use it because applying it was so easy and quick. Fast forward to me learning BE had a matte foundation without bismuth so took a shot. This one is totally different. It's matte, as promised, and stays dry. Whatever that shiny stuff is in the original isn't in this one. I have had glowing skin with not a blemish. I'm so happy I tried this formula. Don't know if this will help but I use the oil control primer first. It's nice to get my face on so fast and to have it last all day!

I'm new to BE and noticed they recommended a primer. I was afraid to try one because any primer I've tried in the past has caused hives/breakouts on my sensitive skin. I am SO glad I gave this one a shot. I haven't had any skin issues, and my matte foundation stays matte. I go hours without blotting. I must have the new version because I see none of the negatives listed in older reviews. I suggest you check the bottle to be sure it's the new product. I love this primer and won't go without it.
