Best of the bronzers.

For me, this Ready Bronzer ( I'm using High Dive) is the best of the bronzers offer by BE. I went to store and compared all of them together with this one: faux tan, warmth & a little sun. This one is the least glittery and most matte and no red tones like warmth has. It gives me a great, natural looking tan. I have light olive skin and use "light" foundation. I get tan in the summer and so far it has been helping me to extend my tan look into the winter without looking fake - so far, so good. It seems to go on heavier than the others too = a little goes a long way, and so I have to be careful not to over apply it. The brush needs to be tapped off for sure. And High Dive is pretty deep so I can see myself possibly switching to something lighter once my tan completely fades. I also use it as an eye shadow. My only complaint is the black matte case picks up a lot of make up dust and gets pretty dirty.

Best for younger skin.

I have been using BE for about 10 years now. I don't like to use a lot of make up and always applied BE products lightly. Now that I am in my 40's, my skin needs more coverage. I find that when I use it to cover up dark spots and etc. that it really makes my dry, older skin look very dry and cracked (and I use a very good moisturizer with it); and it emphasizes wrinkles & pores that you just don't see without the product on my face. I still lightly apply the all-over-face-colors and they go on well still, but not the foundation. I was so disappointed that I needed to switch to a cream foundation, but when I did, it just made my skin glow and look so much better, healthier, smoother and younger. I cannot recommend this for older skin, but it is the best ever for younger skin. Please come up with a solution for us older women who have been so loyal for so long.

How well does matte foundation work for mature skin - over age sixty?
I have been using the original foundation for about 7 years and wonder if I could get better coverage with matte without making wrinkles more noticeable.
I am in my 40's, and I have also been using BE for several years now (about 10 yrs.). I was using Matte Foundation for quite a while, and it was not much different then the original, but a little better at blurring the skin. However, both foundations just emphasized my fine lines & pores so I decided to switch to a cream foundation, and I am SO GLAD that I did. I get much better coverage with no increased appearance in wrinkles or pores. I look so much better now. I did not know my skin could look so good and that it actually was in better shape than I thought. I was just using the wrong foundation. I still use the all-over-face-colors, blushes & etc. They are great! They work well and give great color to my greyish-washed out complexion. I just had to change foundations now that I am older.

Make-up Scent?
Does this foundation have any scent? I have sensitive skin and hate the smell of make-up. Something light and natural feeling/smelling would be nice, though! What are mineral products like?
I have very sensitive skin and am really, really, really sensitive to even light scents. BE products do not have any odors whatsoever, and I have never had a problem with them. They are by far the best for fragrance-free make up... they do not have even a "light smell". Mineral product are smooth and creamy and cover well, but they can be messy. They are really fun to use "mix & match" and they give you a lot of freedom with make up application. I find that they are best for younger skin but many products are still super for older skin as well. Best yet, they have very little, if any, harmful ingredients and they last me forever.
