Perfect liner brush for me!

Pros: easy to use, great lines!
I LOVE this brush! I normally use the BM pencil liners, and sometimes they seem a little heavy and thick application. So, I decided to try out the liner shadows and use this brush. At first, I just used the powder dry, and it wasn't going on with enough definition that i liked. I then wet the brush a TINY bit, and then used the lid to mix with the liner shadow. It gave me great definition in a lighter color than my liners, and I was able to get a nice little flick at the end of my eyes for the cat-like, sultry eyes. I purchased this in the Good As Gold kit, and LOVE this brush. Thank you!

Pros: confused by brush
Apparently I don't know how to use this brush. I got it in a Bare Minerals Eye Club pack, and was excited to build my brush collection. This brush seems too big for practical use for me. I norammly use the Contour Shadow Brush and the Tapered Shadow Brush to apply my eye colors. To line, I use the Soft Focus Liner Brush. To "set" my eye colors, I actually sweep some Mineral Veil over my eyes as I do on the rest of my face, then use my eyeliner (again, I line twice) and mascara. I will try the other techniques the ladies mentioned, but this brush is just impractically wide for the way I apply my eye make up.

Great brush; didn't work well w/ READY foundation

Pros: great application, easy to use
I LOVE this brush... but I use the READY compact foundations, so this created a "hole" in my foundations as I would use it. Which is okay, but now that I've hit pan, its a pain to get the foundation on the brush evenly without ripping chunks out of the foundation READY compact. So, while I love the amount of coverage this brush provides, I think it is much more compatible with the containers of foundation. I don't really want to use the Precision Face Brush, as that's too thick of an application for me. So, I guess I have to deal witht he way this wonderful brush annihilates my READY compact.

While pretty, I don't like the Moxie line

Pros: sticky, pretty
These lip colors are GORGEOUS, but the product itself is sticky. I can't stand when I feel like I have to pry my lips apart in order to talk. I have replaced ALL of my make up with BM, but then I had to turn around and replace all of my BM lip products with a different brand that isn't sticky. I love you Bare Minerals, but not enough to tolerate this Moxie lip product.

Pros: amazing, travels great
This was my first Ready Eyeshadow purchase, in "The Truth". Truth be told, I don't use all the colors. They are so close in shade that it's hard to get definition between the colors. SO, when I use this 4.0, I use it with other palettes to get a black or grey color to blend it. The light color is fine with any of the others for a 2-shaded eye, but honestly I don't use all of the 4 colors together often.
On a different note, the READY shadows travel great! I don't use the included applicator because it is the foamy applicator, which I despise. I leave it in there for touch-ups on the go, but I normally use other BM brushes to apply at home.

Pros: wonderful!, stays all day, my go-to colors!
I use the Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 in the "15 Minutes" and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I also use "The Inspiration" (which is my other fave color combo) and both are just so simple to put on and stay all day. I have dark brown eyes and the light pink and then maroon/purple combos are just stunning on! Thank you BM for A) the color combos, and B) making them in the READY compacts as I travel A LOT for work. I love these!

Pros: perfect blush, travels great
I LOVE the BM Ready Blush in the compact, Aphrodisiac is my go-to color and I look forward to getting more READY Blush colors. I normally use a different brush, but the included one is great for touch-ups or when I am on the go and take it with me.

Great value and intro to Bare Minerals

Pros: great value, wonderful intro to bm brand
This kit was a perfect intro to the brand! I am now using ONLY Bare Minerals products. I used to use a variety of brands, none of them worked together, and I frankly didn't know how to mix my makeups and colors to get a polished, simple, ladylike, makeup look that suited me. Well, I tossed all that junk away, and stocked up with this and a few other BM kits to start my makeup wardrobe all over. The brushes are great, and the warming color is my favorite. I have moved on to the pressed powders of BM, so I actually gave the loose powders away. I travel A TON and the loose powders just became messy over time. Not all of these have the locking top, so the powder would just spill out and wait for me to open it, then POOF it was all over. I LOVE THE PRODUCT, I just prefer it in a different presentation/packaging (the pressed powders).

bareMinerals READY Blush - The One

How do I select the right shade?
After trying the READY foundation, & loving it, I'd like to try READY Blush. I'm 56 yrs. old, use Clear Radiance, but haven't worn Blush in many yrs. As I've aged, I've found that my usual shades of Blush appear too "theatrical". I wear READY foundation in Light & that's perfect for me. What shade would be best for me? My skin tone is light with yellowish undertones; sallow looking. I'd appreciate any other suggestions you might have to "perk-up" my overall appearance (eye shadow colors, lip colors, etc...) I have brown eyes & my natural hair color is dark brunette with little-to-no gray. Thank you!
I recommend you go for a peach-based blush, such as Aphrodisiac, instead of a pink-based blush. A pink or red based blush may be too flashy/theatrical. Also, after I apply my foundation, blush, bronzer, I use the mineral veil to finish it off, and it softens the look of my blush. I really think a peach blush will work best for you.
I am also a yellow-undertoned brunette with brown eyed girl, and I know what you mean about wanted to "perk-up" our simple coloring. Try out the Ready 2.0 eyeshadow palette in "15 minutes". It looks ugly/plain in the packaging, but the light pink I put from eyelid to eyebrow, and then use the darker color all over my eyelid, and VIOLA, I look classy. It stays all day/night, too! Try one of the Plum eyeliners, such as the 5pm. This is all my go-to look, and it seems pretty simple and polished/ladylike when I'm done.
Good luck!
