I always used liquid foundation especially with a matte finish. For two years I faithfully used a 24 hour liquid foundation, but with high demands that I started to have in my job I didn't have time to apply liquid foundation everyday and having to completely take it off really late at night. Until one day I saw a youtube channel review about Bare Minerals and I was completely convinced I just had to try it, so I did. I went into a boutique got shade matched and Im a convert. At first I wasn't sure about lose powder, but its a whole complete different experience. A drastic change from liquid to mineral foundation. Just knowing that is healthy for my skin with just few ingredients is a bonus for me. Im very happy with my purchase I still have a brand new liquid foundation just sitting on my vanity I don't need to use it no more when I can get a flawless finish with my Bare minerals. <3

How can I choose the right color foundation for my skin tone?
I am 51 years of age, and my skin tone has changed as I have aged. How do I know what color foundation to use?
I suggest to get shade matched just to be safe. So that way you can enjoy Bare Minerals to the fullest.

How well does matte foundation work for mature skin - over age sixty?
I have been using the original foundation for about 7 years and wonder if I could get better coverage with matte without making wrinkles more noticeable.

Well I have combination skin so I automatically went for the Matte formula and I absolutly love it. I am a full coverage girl but switching from original to matte is completely up to you. I'll suggest trying out the new bare minerals concealer the creamy one. Use that concealer under your original and apply it to any areas that you think need more coverage, and maybe if possible purchase the handi buki brush. That brush is specially designed for full coverage, hopefully this was helpful. :)
