I'm wondering why she didn't once use the little sponge applicator. I don't understand why they even bother including it. I just chunked mine. Brushes are the go to applicator for all things BE. They are SO much more effective! Plus they last for years.

After reading through all of the reviews (which I didn't before ordering), I see that several reviewers have had this same problem. Most are very happy with this primer. I wish I were one of them. I have a tube of a neutral primer that is awesome.
I have been using many, many BE products over the years (that's ALL I use for skin care and makeup) and have always been very pleased. I ordered 2 of the colored Primer Shadows (along with another, awesome, larger set for my daughter that were all on sale). I ordered Sundance and Racing Green. I had to squeeze extremely hard on the Sundance to get any out. I nearly flattened it before I got a small amount out. The Racing Green appears to be totally empty. I squeezed the tube completely flat using a LOT of force and could not get ANY product out. With the Racing Green, I used a needle at first thinking maybe it was just clogged up but that didn't work. So now I have the Sundance which will let a little product come out if I squeezed very hard, and an empty Racing Green. BE has THE best service, which helps when you rely on them for all of your skin care and makeup needs. They are one of the best online companies I've ever dealt with. Hopefully, they can make this right. Yes, they are not that expensive but living on Social Security, I have to watch every penny I spend.

So far, I love it. But I have one concern.

I got a generous sample tube of this with an order and I really like it. It is the perfect texture (not too heavy). And it's perfect under the foundation. Just be sure to wait till it has completely absorbed before applying foundation. But I'm a little hesitant to order the full size bottle as several reviewers have complained about the amount left in the bottle when the pump stops working. One said there was almost a third of the bottle that she couldn't access. If the pump can be taken off so that you can at least shake the last out of it I might consider it. I do want to say one thing about Bare Minerals customer service. OUTSTANDING!

Pros: looks like a fantasic product
Nearly every reviewer didn't mentioned the need for replacement products for each item. With Bareescentuals resources, it shouldn't be a huge expense to them to offer this. I would buy one if not for that omission. I don't travel that much, but it's a pain to have to pack so many products and make sure they are in an upright position so as not to have tons of powder in each container when I open them filled to the top of the lids. I ALWAYS put my case in my carry on just for that reason. Until they make the effort to fulfill this obvious needd, I don't think I'll invest in one of these pallets.Such a great concept, though. But even though this is a relatively convenient container, I still have to carry all my skincare products and eye make up separately . Such a pain!

Questions

A rejuvenating foundation primer that exfoliates and clarifies.

size
I might just be overlooking it, but I can't seem to find the size. Is it 1 or 2 oz?
Thanks!

Much missed brow powder
Is there a major difference in the brow powder that seems to have been discontinued and an eyeshadow in similar shades applied with a brush? I have a wide variety of BE brown shadows, from light to nearly black. Never used the brow powder. Am currently using the the pencil in light and it seems okay to me.

Shade Matching
I use Ready foundation (love it!) in medium beige AND golden medium together. They work great together for me. I'm really wanting to try this concealer but can't decide which shade. I'm blonde with medium skin and with quite a bit of red from rosacea. I will use this mostly around my eyes. Have been using Well Rested for a long time but need a little more coverage. The light 1 seems a little too pinkish. Someone mentioned this concealer runs a little dark so I think medium might be too dark. I don't have a boutique in my area. Any advice is much appreciated!

Pump Up The Glam

I am SO disappointed! I just logged on and saw this awesome deal. Is there any chance Pump Up The Glam will be back in stock online?
I would love to have one of these to give to my daughter in law. She and my son and their 3 yr. old son live on a very tight budget. I have given her a couple of my items that I didn't need and she LOVES them all.

How do I open the primer shadow?!
I just received the primer shadow that I ordered. Do I need to pierce some sort of seal in order to use it? I tried to squeeze some out but nothing comes out. Am I doing something wrong or is it a faulty product?
I had the same problem with one of the colored shadow primers I ordered when they were on special. No matter how hard I squeezed it, nothing came out. I finally started from the bottom of the tube and as I kept squeezing harder and harder as I went up, nothing came out until suddenly a very small, almost dry amount popped out. I contacted customer service (they are really great!), explained what my issue was and they sent out a replacement very quickly. It was perfect. Never hesitate to contact them if you have a problem. Be honest, don't take advantage of their true concern for us customers and you will be amazed. Their products are top of the line and so is their customer service. I recently ordered a Last Chance set with quite a few products and after looking through everything, I thought the eyebrow pencil had been left out. I contacted them and they said they were sending out a replacement right away (and when they say "right away", they mean it!). When I was about to throw out the box and packing paper, I found it. It was early the next day (I had contacted them the previous night) and I called them to cancel the replacement but it had already been shipped. They asked if I would please just mark the package "refused" and put it back in my mail box. I could have easily just kept it and told them it never arrived. But I don't operate that way and neither do they. I had a similar problem when I first ordered the Ready foundation. Not having a boutique near me for shade matching, I wrote to BE for advice. Based on my previous shade in the original formula and as accurate as I could be about my skin, I was recommended a certain shade. It was WAY off. Long story short, they made things right without further cost to me and I LOVE the Ready products. I'm almost embarrassed by how much of their product I own! I love it all! Because their products are also so concentrated, they last a very long time. If I could ask for a change in anything, it would be to offer more non-glittery products. As we age (I'm 62), iridescent products emphasize rather than diminish the appearance of wrinkles and age related flaws. BE seems to use an over abundance of glitter in many of their products, especially their eye shadows. I rarely use anything other than Soft Focus or that reason, concentrating more heavily in the crease area with a light covering on my eyelid above my eye liner. I give away most of the other shadows that come in kits to my 33 yr. old daughter and 33 yr. old daughter in law.

Does the product contain SPF
Does the new Purely Nourishing Moisturizer have any SPF?
I haven't used the SPF version, but there are 2 of this product available under "Skincare" with SPF. They are $2 more but may be worth if you really need the sunscreen. Definitely read all the reviews because there are quite a few negatives on this product (as well as some 5 stars). I would email or call and ask about the difference between the ingredients of the 2. If you have a boutique close by, that would be a good way to try it without buying it and then being unhappy. There is also a version of the Normal to Dry that also has SPF.
Hope this helps. I'm using a sample of the regular right now and I am 62, fairly light skinned and sunscreen is a must if I'm going out for any length of time but don't have time or want to wear foundation. I intend to request a sample. If they have samples of this version, ask them to send you one mentioning the negative reviews. Some people are very sensitive to sunscreens. Good luck!
