How do I open the primer shadow?!
I just received the primer shadow that I ordered. Do I need to pierce some sort of seal in order to use it? I tried to squeeze some out but nothing comes out. Am I doing something wrong or is it a faulty product?
I had the same problem with one of the colored shadow primers I ordered when they were on special. No matter how hard I squeezed it, nothing came out. I finally started from the bottom of the tube and as I kept squeezing harder and harder as I went up, nothing came out until suddenly a very small, almost dry amount popped out. I contacted customer service (they are really great!), explained what my issue was and they sent out a replacement very quickly. It was perfect. Never hesitate to contact them if you have a problem. Be honest, don't take advantage of their true concern for us customers and you will be amazed. Their products are top of the line and so is their customer service. I recently ordered a Last Chance set with quite a few products and after looking through everything, I thought the eyebrow pencil had been left out. I contacted them and they said they were sending out a replacement right away (and when they say "right away", they mean it!). When I was about to throw out the box and packing paper, I found it. It was early the next day (I had contacted them the previous night) and I called them to cancel the replacement but it had already been shipped. They asked if I would please just mark the package "refused" and put it back in my mail box. I could have easily just kept it and told them it never arrived. But I don't operate that way and neither do they. I had a similar problem when I first ordered the Ready foundation. Not having a boutique near me for shade matching, I wrote to BE for advice. Based on my previous shade in the original formula and as accurate as I could be about my skin, I was recommended a certain shade. It was WAY off. Long story short, they made things right without further cost to me and I LOVE the Ready products. I'm almost embarrassed by how much of their product I own! I love it all! Because their products are also so concentrated, they last a very long time. If I could ask for a change in anything, it would be to offer more non-glittery products. As we age (I'm 62), iridescent products emphasize rather than diminish the appearance of wrinkles and age related flaws. BE seems to use an over abundance of glitter in many of their products, especially their eye shadows. I rarely use anything other than Soft Focus or that reason, concentrating more heavily in the crease area with a light covering on my eyelid above my eye liner. I give away most of the other shadows that come in kits to my 33 yr. old daughter and 33 yr. old daughter in law.
