Why put Talc as the #1 Ingredient?

Cons: itchy, caused a reaction, talc, not good for sensitive skin, no spf
I LOVED the Ready foundation, and was super disappointed to see it canceled. I needed new foundation so I went to the store and bought this along with a new brush. After wearing it for three days, I had to return it. First, the coverage is poor. If you're looking for medium to full coverage, this is not it. My biggest problem however was my skins reaction to it.
My face would not stop itching the entire time I had it on! I googled the product to see if others had a similar experience and it turns out Talc is the #1 ingredient. I remember when Leslie used to brag about not having talc in their foundation, now it's the number 1 ingredient. For those with sensitive skin, it's a killer. It will cause a reaction and dryness. SO disappointed. I will not be using bare minerals from now on.
The product quality has really gone down hill since being acquired by Shiseido. I get that it's about the bottom line, but if I wanted talc as the main ingredient, I'd buy a drugstore brand for a lot less money.

Cons: smelly, oily, causes burning, no spf
I have sensitive skin and this product caused it to burn/blotch. I tried it as a free sample and will not buy. It took forever to absorb into my skin, smelled strongly, and left a weird residue. It also doesn't contain an SPF which means I would not use it as a daily moisturizer. This product confirms what I've often thought, Bare Essentials skin care isn't worth the money.

Is this light enough to wear under foundation?
I use both the bareSkin foundation and the loose mineral foundation. I've noticed that I'm starting to have some dry, flaky skin in the morning which is more prominent when I use the bareSkin. Is this moisturizing light enough to wear underneath both types of foundation? My makeup has to last a 12 hour day, so I want something that will lightly moisturize and not look greasy toward the end of the day.
For me, this appeared greasy under makeup. I have normal/sensitive skin and wouldn't recommend.
