Great when you're tired

I love to wear Bare Skin when I wake up and I have bags under my eyes. While concealers do help reduce the bags, I still feel like they're noticeable. Bare Skin is just pink enough to make my face look fresh & polished, but not super noticeable, which means that less attention will be drawn to my tired eyes than if I wore a dark or bright color.

I tried using this when the Antioxidant Hydrating Gel wasn't providing enough moisture during the winter. It did provide more moisture than the gel, but I ended up breaking out from it and had to stop using it. I wish there was a middle ground.

I enjoy this moisturizer, however I wish it would last longer (it doesn't take long to go through a bottle when you use it once daily#. This is heavier than the Antioxidant Spray, but not as heavy as a lotion. It's very smooth and feels great going on. If this bottle were larger for the same price or slightly cheaper #around $30), I would go back to using this daily.

Phrases Chosen: quick & easy, lightweight, not greasy, under or over make-up
This is my favorite moisturizer (I have even used it as body moisturizer). I think my skin looks better after I wear it; it takes about 30 seconds to put on and less than that to absorb into my skin. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy and it looks great both under and over my Bare Minerals original foundation. Most importantly, it is a light moisturizer, which works perfectly with my very oily skin and has not caused acne.

My skin looks great

Phrases Chosen: easy to use, silky feeling, lightweight, slightly moisturizing, perfect skin
I have red, blotchy skin from acne, acne scars, allergies and the natural pink undertone of my skin. I received this as a gift and was very excited to try it because I have eaten so many of the ingredients before (I knew I wouldn't be allergic). Within a few minutes of applying this, my skin had a beautiful glow and even tone to it. I don't know how this gel does it, but I had both the glow and a nice matte look at the same time. My skin is very oily, but I do feel a bit dry now and again and I think this gel is the perfect amount of moisturizing as well. My skin looks & feels great and I have not gotten any additional acne from using it.

Phrases Chosen: squeaky clean & smooth, thick, strong smell, use a timer, bright skin, easy to use
I've used this as a supplement to both the Vit. A Plus Clearing Complex and the Gylcare Acne Gel and it works well with both. This is easy to use, as long as you can remember when you put it on (if you leave it on too long it can get really stiff and dry out your skin#. I hate the way it feels when I wash it off #almost slimy#, but I love the results I get from it. My skin always glows, looks really bright and feels incredibly smooth #smoother than anything else has ever made it) when I'm done with this. I only use this once every month or two, so the tube lasts for a really long time.

Phrases Chosen: gentle, not super sticky, no strong odor, effective
This is my favorite of all of the MD Formulations acne correctors that I've tried. This gel is gentle enough for me to use every day, but it's not super sticky and doesn't have a really strong smell like some of the others. It doesn't work as quickly as the Vit A Clearing Complex, but it's also not as drying either. I can usually clear up minor acne within a week or so when I use this. I always have this on hand.

This complex clears up skin so fast (especially when you use the complementing mask in conjunction with it) and so easily. I would recommend this to anyone.

Phrases Chosen: thick, strong smell, drying, like prescription
I've used prescription Benzoyl Peroxide creams for acne before and they've always worked very well, but caused a great deal of dryness for me. I tried this hoping to have the same results without the flakes, but didn't quite get there. It did clear up my acne, but it left my skin feeling dry & tight (which is hard to do--I have very oily skin), although not flakey like the prescription ones did. It also has a very strong medicinal smell to it.

Great in the Winter

Phrases Chosen: moisturizing, creamy, low lather
I'm very sad to see so many negative reviews about this face wash. I think the people complaining about acne need to try the Facial Cleansing Gel (which is what I use almost all of the time--see my review#. I am very acne prone, but the Facial Cleansing Gel can dry out my skin in the dry winter months. So, rather than use moisturizing gels that are really expensive, I started using this every night before bed. It's creamy #which makes it low lather) and my skin always feels moisturized after using it. This face wash has saved me hundreds of dollars in moisturizing gels meant for acne prone skin.

I am looking for a pink based blush, very non peach and non coral color, and i like shimmer! Which blush best fits that description?
I have extremely fair skin, long dark hair, and brown eyes. I would like to try a "Snow White" look. (the recent snow white, not the old disney version) Again, the peach and coral colors look really bad on me. So it has to be very pink based, and i do like shimmer to reflect the light :)

I love Fruit Cocktail for my pale skin & light coloring (I wear a blend of Light & Fairly Light original foundation). It looks bright pink (think Barbie) in the jar, but I've gotten everything from sheer pink 'just-in-the-sun' flush to' I just ran a 10K' with it.

Order and Time of use
Here is my day regiment:
Wash, Rever-uper, Moisturizer (if I'm wearing make-up I'll use Primer then apply make-up)

Night regiment:
Wash, rever-uper, moisturize, pure transform night treatment with blemish therapy spot treatments

My breakouts have been under control for years, but in the past I swore by MD products. I have recently started breaking out more and wanted to add some MD products back in. I'm planning on switching to the face and body scrub for my night cleanser (worked great when I was younger) and I was considering using this BP product in place of my rever-uper at night. Is this a good idea?

I find the Facial Cleansing Gel and Glycare Acne Gel to be gentle ways to control my acne. I also like using the Critical Calming Gel or Moisturizing Antioxidant Gel for moisturizers when needed.

Need Help with Blush Selection
I have never had much luck when it comes to choosing and applying blush. I have a fair completion (I wear fairly light foundation) and have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. Anytime I have bought blush in the past it has always looked fake and unnatural. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Top 100 Contributor
I wear a combo of Fair & Fairly light original foundations, but I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I use Kiss as a dark, dramatic blush for myself (It looks very natural, it's just more dramatic than my normal blush- Fruit Cocktail#, however, with your dark hair and dark eyes, this may be a great option for an everyday blush.

Have you tried Morning? That's another one I like on my skin #I have to use it with extreme caution though, it can get very dark for my coloring#. It's a peachy color.

I bought Morning over the internet, but Kiss & Fruit Cocktail #which I make sure to always have on hand# were selected for me by the staff at a BM store. Do you have one near you? If not, try the phone personnel. I once had a woman send me the perfect night-out brown eye shadow #Celestine# without ever having seen me! She did it all on my other favorite products, hair & eye color. I was and still am extremely impressed with the training BE gives their staff on color.

I prefer to apply my blush with than Angled Blush Brush and I tap out the teeniest amount of blush into the lid and tap excess off well before applying it to my face. To keep my cheeks even, I use one light stroke on each cheek and alternate until I get the desired effect #I start at the apple and go to the hairline). I find this method ideal for my super fair skin.

Hope this helps!

is the coverage better than the well rested? whats the difference between the two?
i want the coverage of well rested or better but i do like a fresh, luminous, dewey look
Top 100 Contributor
I use both products and I find them quite different. The coverage of well rested will vary quite a bit depending on how you apply it. Well Rested applied with a concealer brush (one layer) is more opaque than the brightener and I find I have to cover Well Rested with foundation. I never cover the brightener with foundation and find it to be a semi-sheer cover. I prefer the brightener, but I do not have very dark circles to cover. I do think the brightener looks better as an acne cover though.

I use Luminous 1 on my pale skin (I've been compared to ghosts before) and I think it looks great. I don't even cover this with foundation afterwards.

when do I apply clear radiance--under mineral veil or the last thing?
I don't know when to apply clear radiance--first or last or in bettween
Top 100 Contributor
I always layer my complexion enhancers like this:

1) Concealer for very noticeable issues or foundation applied with the full coverage face brush on minor issues.
2) Foundation
3) Mineral Veil
4) Blush or All Over Face Color
5) Clear Radiance (applied with same brush as step #4)

This is my favorite make-up routine and I think it yields an airbrushed look every time.

When in the store, the make-up artist put mineral veil on very last and I don't like this because I think it mutes the shimmer effect that I buy Clear Radiance for (I sometimes put multiple coats of radiance on). My suggestion is to try it both ways to determine which you prefer. I always try my new make-up on during the weekend when I know I will not be leaving the house, that way I don't have to wash it right off and I don't have to worry about not liking it and being seen in public.
