Need Help with Blush Selection
I have never had much luck when it comes to choosing and applying blush. I have a fair completion (I wear fairly light foundation) and have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. Anytime I have bought blush in the past it has always looked fake and unnatural. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I wear a combo of Fair & Fairly light original foundations, but I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I use Kiss as a dark, dramatic blush for myself (It looks very natural, it's just more dramatic than my normal blush- Fruit Cocktail#, however, with your dark hair and dark eyes, this may be a great option for an everyday blush.
Have you tried Morning? That's another one I like on my skin #I have to use it with extreme caution though, it can get very dark for my coloring#. It's a peachy color.
I bought Morning over the internet, but Kiss & Fruit Cocktail #which I make sure to always have on hand# were selected for me by the staff at a BM store. Do you have one near you? If not, try the phone personnel. I once had a woman send me the perfect night-out brown eye shadow #Celestine# without ever having seen me! She did it all on my other favorite products, hair & eye color. I was and still am extremely impressed with the training BE gives their staff on color.
I prefer to apply my blush with than Angled Blush Brush and I tap out the teeniest amount of blush into the lid and tap excess off well before applying it to my face. To keep my cheeks even, I use one light stroke on each cheek and alternate until I get the desired effect #I start at the apple and go to the hairline). I find this method ideal for my super fair skin.
Hope this helps!
