This is my first 8.0 READY shadow and it definitely won't be the last. I picked this up along with the Hot to Trot Moxie gloss set during the sneak peak sale. I was instantly attracted to this palette because of the warm and earth tones. I think they would look great on most anyone. The shimmery golds and browns won me over. While in the boutique I was treated to a smoldering gold eye. She used the black and the liner tip of the brush to line my lids. it was gorgeous. I was able to go right home and recreate the look. But to my surprise inside of the box was a little pamphlet with eye looks that I could create at home. Less work for me, they were so easy to use and they all looked great. With this set you could definitely use it to create everyday looks or create night look. The mirror in this compact is large and even the outside is clear enough to be used as a mirror (no idea if this was intentional). You also get a mini eyelid primer in here and a mini double-ended precision brush. This I think is a great way to try out these 2 products if you haven't already or to get travel sizes if you have!!!

I picked these up from my boutique on 9/13 during the sneak peak sale. I have worn one of the colors everyday since then. They are honestly all amazing for my warm skin tone. I seriously expected to give at least 2 away but I have tried them all on and they are great. Amazing shine, easy to apply just like you're used to with the Moxie glosses, these minis are an amazing steal. My favs right now are dreamer (goldish) and firecraker (amazing sparkly red), both new colors. I've even found that they look great with a lipstick underneath. I have a matte true red lipstick that was an impossible color for me to pull off and applying firecracker over made it a wow!

everyday eye brush

I loved my heavenly face brush so I thought I'd give this one a try. Completely love it. I use it everyday to blend my shadows,The bristles are dense but soft and it's great to get into the crease and buff away. I pretty much buff the entire eyelid with it after I've applied all my BE eye make up. I love it so much i went back and bought another for my travel bag!

OK so if you'd asked me months ago I would have said this eyelid primer was horrible. Thanks to the girls in the boutique I realized I was using way too much. You only need a tiny bit to smooth across your eyelid and even all the way up to your eyebrow. Without the primer my eyelids look like an oil slick by the end of the day and any shadows I've applied are caked in the creases or just wiped off. With the primer my eyelids were not oily and my eyeshadows were in place!

i went to my local boutique looking for a color update. One of the stylists recommended I try The French Kiss. I was a little skeptical but love it on (of course!). The color is so nice and not too bright. I can wear it during the day and it looks great.

READY Blush in The Aphrodisiac is perfect for day. It's not a super bright pink more more of a peachy pink. it gives me a great dose of color while still looking very natural. It applies wonderfully. It also stays on all day. In the evening I usually apply just a bit more to punch up the color. The brush it comes with is great especially if you are on the go. I do like using my angled blush brush for it as well. And just like with other READY products a good tap for application and you're on your way.

The ready foundation for me is somewhere in between the original and the matte in terms of finish. It's not as dewy/shiny as the original but not as matte as the matte finish. If you are combo/oily skin like me and have been using the matte you'll notice just a tad bit of shine..not horrible but a wee bit. I would definitely encourage you to go to a boutique to get shade matched. In the matte foundation I wear medium tan and when I got shade matched at my boutique I was golden tan. The application is smooth and velvety and the coverage is nice. Using my precision brush everything goes on well and it seems like I don't spend nearly as much time applying foundation. I would also say to take the TAP, BUFF directions to heart. Precision brush is great for this...seriously just tap and buff away. No swirling please or you'll have powder all over the compact.

This is a great bronzer, it's not shiny or fake looking. It gives you natural subtle color. In foundation I go back and forth between medium tan, tan, and golden tan depending on the time of the year. And the high dive works for me all year long. Sometimes I use it as my only color for a quick look just like I would use the warmth. This travels nicely in my bag.

giving heavenly some competition

I swear by my heavenly face brush because I love the softness and fuller coverage it gives. not to mention the buffing power. But my new Precision Face brush has been in heavy rotation all week! It's super soft and velvety and smoothly provides medium to fuller coverage especially around nose cheekbones and other curvy areas. The bristles are synthetic, not at all itchy and no shedding. I like using it with the Ready foundation, bronzer, and blushes. Just tap and smooth on!

No flakes, no clumps, lashes fan out and are instantly longer and defined. This mascara really lasts all day. Works well if I'm wearing contacts or glasses with no itching or burning ever. The brush is a bit different from what you're used to seeing but use it just like any mascara. I knew this was a winner when someone told me "wow your lashes are so long!" No mention of mascara (yes! or makeup woohoo!)

Would it be possible to receive a sample of the skinny dip and the high dive to choose the bronzer for my face that is best for me?
I am requesting a small sample of the two bronzers to try.
If you have a boutique or stockist near you, maybe you could pop in and have an artist apply them for you. That's exactly what I did last week, everyone is super helpful and I ended up going with the High Dive!

Feather-light application for All-Over Face Colors.
I am looking for a recommendation on the right brush for my foundation. I prefer a very light coverage. I do not like to look like I have makeup on.
I use mostly the foundation and concealer
You may have luck with the Soft Focus Face or Flawless Radiance brushes as they provide light coverage for the all over face colors. I love them for applying just a hint of color without worry of over-applying. I don't see why you couldn't try them with foundation. I do however, love and swear by the Heavenly Face brush. Foundation goes on smoothly and you can buff buff buff for a very natural and light look. Good luck!
