I really like the colors in this kit. The Splendid eyecolor is a beautiful goldleaf bronze color and the lighter peach shade (mademoiselle) offsets it perfectly. The blush looked a little bright in the container, but when applied sparingly with light pressure, it ends up giving a natural rosy-pink color. The eyeliner is easy to apply; it glides right on. It is a true black shade and doesn't smudge, so it will stay put. It is waterproof, which took extra time taking off when I washed my face later. I gave this kit 4 hearts instead of 5 because the lipgloss was more of a matte lipstick on me. I thought it would be a shiny finish like the 100% natural lipgloss. The color is pretty and I'll use a shiny gloss over it. Overall I'd say it's a great kit to try, especially if you're new to the BE brand like I am.

I debated about ordering this eyeshadow kit since I worried they would be too high shine/sparkle for normal day to day wear, but I'm glad I did. The colors are beautiful! They are a tinted wash of shimmer color when used dry. I use the darker night owl shade along my lashes and in the crease. The brush that comes with the kit is awesome. It's my go-to eyeshadow brush now. It's perfect for lid, crease and lash line applications. As of now, I haven't tried the foiling technique because I think the colors look great dry.

This color is amazing! I have olive undertones and always had problems finding the correct foundation color for me. It seems most companies think that if you're an olive tone you're automatically in a medium shade, which ended up looking like an obvious mask. The foundation itself is so lightweight that I barely feel it while it's on. I love that based on the brush used, I can create a full, medium or light coverage finish. It's great at covering my dark circles as well. Thank you for a fabulous product!

I bought this kit with the matte finish. I've read alot of reviews on how its good. But it doset give me any coverage at all! Can someone tell me why?
I really want clear and smooth flawless skin and I've read how it covers up some people's acneby the reviews. When i put this on, my skin looked very natural and looked like i had no makeup one. It also feels this way. But i have pimples and scars on my face and this isn't helping it at all! I can still see the redness and everything! I'm atcually a little dissapointed because i didn't find what i was looking for. Can somone pleae tell me what im doing wrong or something? i really want smooth flawless skin like the people on the magazine. The picture below is me with Bare Minerals makeup on.
I was recently colormatched by someone in the BE store and she gave me a tip on how to achieve a fuller concealing effect. She said if you use the top of the tip of the Maximum Concealer brush and dab the product directly on the pimples and scars, etc it will give you more coverage. The tip of the concealer brush has firmer bristles, which helps intensify the coverage. Doing this will not cause obvious darker "foundation spots" like other foundations sometimes do. You can also use the Precision Concealer brush for the same effect.

i want a concealer other than well-rested for under eyes because im not sure how well it'll cover all over my face... i was looking through the reviews and many people complained that it was too dark for lighter skin tones, so i looked at summer bisque and the same was said for that concealer. Someone please help me out and tell me which one is better for light skin tones with pink undertones it would be much appreciated(: thanks
The original Bisque color is the lightest concealer offered.

Is Golden Fair a good substitute for Fairly Light and Light combined?
My best match is mixing Fair with Fairly Light and I'm curious whether Golden Fair would be a good replacement.
I personally haven't tried the mixing combination you're talking about, but I think the Golden Fair would be a good substitute. I'm assuming you're warm or olive undertones, but need the Fairly Light to lighten up the Light shade. I tested both the Golden Fair and the Light in the store and the Golden Fair is much lighter than the Light shade. However, if you have more neutral or pink undertones to your skin, I think the Golden Fair may be too yellow. I hope this helps you!
