Bring Back Big & Bright - Please!

Phrases Chosen: unblendable
Before the holidays I bought a couple kits with this new eyeliner. I cannot express how much I hate it. I am 46 and never wore any eye makeup at all, except mascara, for my whole life, until I discovered BE and enjoyed it so much that I have almost everything. Literally. I really LOVED the Big & Bright eyeliner. It was smooth to apply and blended beautifully. I also loved the little sharpener and the blending tip was essential. I assumed that since BE came up with a new eyeliner it would be even better, but no, it's awful. It goes on HARSH and dries so fast it is impossible to blend. I was horrified when I applied it and tried to blend it with a Q-tip to no avail. It is very hard to work with, difficult to remove, doesn't blend at all, and looks way too harsh for me. The sage Big & Bright was gorgeous on me. I am so sad now. I'm giving these to my boyfriend's teen daughter to play with but I will never buy BE eyeliner again. I have about six of these - such a waste. My eye makeup look was flawless with Big & Bright - it's better to use the loose shadows to line than Round the Clock. If you want a soft look, good luck; it's not going to happen!

Phrases Chosen: clumps
Wow, I am astonished by the good reviews on this one. I like my lashes to look natural and defined, lash by lash, so I was horrified when my lashes clumped instantly into one uni-lash with the first application. I tried and tried to brush through and separate the lashes to no avail. Horrible. My lashes were a hot mess of goopy black clumps. I never throw good product away but with this I had no choice. I get the look I want from Maybelline.

Phrases Chosen: doesn't gunk up brushes, non-greasy
I love BE and when I first tried the skin care I was ecstatic - I loved the "earthy" scent of the skin care line and the way it made my skin feel after applying it but sadly, I had to admit after using it for a few months that it was, in fact, causing me to break out. When I first started using it (the cleanser, the moisturizer and eye cream) I was so excited because, at 45, I have never used moisturizer. I hate the way they feel and always felt my pores were clogged and greasy, plus I hated the chemicals in most. At first my skin looked fabulous and my pores were noticeably smaller but then I began breaking out all over. The breakouts stopped when I quit using it. It felt really great - a kind of dry soft feel but I did notice after consistent use that it didn't actually moisturize at all - my skin seemed thirsty and began to break out bad over time. So sad. Now I'm using just pure Argan oil, which is amazing and affordable!

Wanted to Love It

Phrases Chosen: love the texture
I am a super loyal BE makeup user so I wanted to love their skin care line as well but after about a month of using this I had to admit to myself that it was, in fact, clogging my pores and causing me to break out around my eyes/temples. I absolutely loved the feel and texture of this too but when I began breaking out consistently around the eye area I had to give it up. I am so sad because this was the first eye cream that I really liked the feel of.

Is the Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for combination skin Non-comedogenic?
I have dry spots and oily spots that are prone to acne breakouts. I am wondering if the moisturizer might aggravate my breakout prone areas.
When I first tried this I absolutely loved it. It felt "dry" going on and absorbed beautifully, and my pores were noticeably smaller, but after I finished the smaller size and invested in the full size bottle I had to admit that it was, in fact, causing me to break out. I am 45 and yes, can still break out. As soon as I stopped using it my skin began to clear. I really liked how it felt but it did not moisturize at all in my opinion, although it felt nice; my skin was still "thirsty", not hydrated, and it definitely caused me to break out. So did the eye cream. I spent a lot of money too. So disappointed. I am still using the cleanser, which I love because it really gets the makeup off and doesn't seem to give me problems.
