This is a pretty light yellow color. It's perfect for the under eyebrow highlight or the inner corner of your eye. It's very light, but a little warm for those of us with warmer skin tones. It's a little light reflective, but doesn't have any glitter in it. This is my new highlight go-to shade.

This is a great kit if you're going to a party or a night on the town. You can get a great bronze smoky eye with this kit easily. The "Splendid" Eyecolor is truly a bronze with lots of sparkle wet or dry. It blends nicely with Mademoiselle. Like everyone else the blush worried me, but I put it on ever-so-lightly and it was very pretty. It really made the lip color pop! The item I liked best in the kit was the waterproof eye liner. Everyone should have this. My eyes get really watery and this liner can take it. I'm so glad I now have an option for my water line.

Phrases Chosen: fun kit
I bought this kit to try the tinted lip balm, but discovered my favorite item is the eyelid primer. The primer is a very light brown-pink color that goes beautifully with the Queen Phyllis eye color. It looks great with the Oz (green) eye liner pencil. If you're nervous about using green (like I was) you don't need to worry. This is a pretty dark green, so it doesn't stand out too much. The Love Radiance is very pink, so I use it for a light blush when I want a minimalist look. Overall the kit is great and the little charm is cute!

Phrases Chosen: very natural look, all-in-one kit
This kit is great if you want to try a few BE lip products without having to think too hard about matching colors. BE does that for you. The lip liner was nice, although I'm not a person who usually wears lip liner. I'll use this when I want a more put-together look. I absolutely love the nude lip stick. It's very thick and give good coverage and stays on for several hours. It's not shiny at all, but it looks very natural and keeps my lips smooth and moisturized. I live in a dry climate and use a very waxy lip balm to keep the moisture in, but this lipstick does a better job. I always make sure I have some in my bag. The lip gloss pairs nicely with the lipstick if you want an extra umph. It also looks nice alone. Oh, and it smells delicious!

Phrases Chosen: great for beginners, all the essentials in one
I bought this kit for the brush and the eye liner. I love getting new brushes. I was happily surprised by the other items. The eyelid primer works wonders to keep the shadow on. The mascara applies smooth and the shadow is a very flattering shade that you can wear alone for an every day look...it's my new go-to color. This kit is perfect for the makeup beginner because it's so simple to use and easy to get right.

You can always use the liner and gloss on other areas of your face. Try the gloss as a cheek highlight, or the lip liner as a cream color on the eyes.

You can still use the kit, but check the tutorial section of this site under Experience --> Tips & Advice. They have a tutorial for asian eyes under How-To.

What do you do when the tip of the eyeliner gets small? Do you sharpen it?
I have one from another kit and I love it, but it's nearly worn.
Yes, but you might want to get a sharpener specifically for eye pencils. Mine is smaller and shaped a bit differently. It's made by L'Oreal.

How do I sharpen the eyeliner pencil?
I tried twisting the pencil and sharpening it with a sharpener, but nothing works. Please tell me I can continue using this awesome eyeliner!
