I, also, have this from a qvc kit. I have hazel green eyes and really like the azure color. But, I have to admit this brown color won me over. I tend to stay in the blue/ pink/ violet shades. But, with the right eyeliner the brown color looks great. I do not like them together. But, I do not think they were made to be used together. But, to be two separate looks. The brown color is very shimmery- but, not glittery. To me, the azure is in between a matte and satin .It is really beautiful. They stay real well with eye primer- Really nice product.

I bought this originally to discontinue an auto delivery kit. I bought this because it was in the kit and liked the color of the eyeshadows. But, I liked these colors so much I allowed the autodelivery to ship anyway to have 2 of them. The pink color is very light and shimmery and the purple color is very feminine- I am fair and have a problem with dark purple colors resembling bruised eyes and not a shadow. These are just right- not too red or too much black pigment in the the shade. Be careful though. You do not press hard on the surface like other shadows in a compact or it can dislodge a piece of it. Just tap lightly. Tap a few more times for a little more shadow- don't press down on it. They go on smoothly. Really nice product.

Small but-perfect brushes

These brushes are small beautiful tools. They are short. But, the handles and hair are thick and well made. There is not a "bad" brush among them. I LOVE the eyeliner brush. It's slightly angled- but -smaller than the normal angled brush. It works beautifully with the Buxom lashliner. To give you an idea of size, the Roll is only the length of the big and bright eyeliner. It will fit in the case- but, not by much. the inside of the case is a nice red cotton type cloth with a thin faux leather outside.The case feels a little flimsy (minor issue) on the outside- but, stays closed inside your bag with the magnet closure. A really nice set.

I am so glad to see this color. It came in a Look of now kit called Fab Fresh. I use this constantly not only with this kit- but,- it the with lucky eye color. It is a nice all over base color and highlighter. Its just enough color to know its there not- bright at all a really nice base color eps. for bringing the green out of my hazel eyes.

Good product -needs help with mascara and eyeliner

I bought this with the dry skin cream and I really love both products. It cleans without stripping the skin. It gives a nice glow and takes off most makeup. I have eczema and extremely sensitive skin. I works nicely without irritation. YOU still need eye makeup remover with Buxom mascara and eyeliners. Eps the new waterproof liners- but ,the big and bright as well. It is a nice product.

Does the SPF25 Mineral Veil appear whiter on the skin than traditional mineral veil?
Just curious because titanium dioxide does leave a white finish when it's in sunscreen so I wanted to make sure it wouldn't whiten my complexion when I use it. Does it look the same on as traditional untinted mineral veil? Thanks very much!
I have not noticed it. I have the spf 25, regular and pearl mineral veil. The pearl has a rosey hue. But, the other two, I have not noticed a difference. Two weekends ago, I used this on my son face - he is rather dark. You could not tell he had it on when blended in.

Does anyone know what color the actress is wearing in the BE commercial where she is out with friends? Looks like a green color.

What if I order (for the very first time in my life in makeup)the wrong color shades for my skin color?
I am brand new to makeup and I want to order the trial pack offered by bare escentuals for $29.

Look at the shade finder and choose the right shade closest to your skin color. These colors are forgiving. I actually have two shades one for the winter months and a slightly darker for the summer months. If you have a retailer nearby you can go and test them. They have it at Macys and in Sephora usually at JCpenneys at the mall, if- you do not have a BE boutique nearby.

They usually have it stated beside the name of the eyecolor(matte/ shimmer/ glimmer) and foundation. I would stick to the regular original primers (eye and face). The brightening primers have shimmer and the eye shadow primers are very shimmery (even glittery) -at least the ones I have tried. Good Luck : )

which of the BE facial cleansers is the best for acne-prone skin?
Combination skin with moderate acne - especially around my mouth & jawline (some cystic at times)
The purifying facial cleanser cleans your face and great for the facial make up. It does need the help of an eyemakeup remover.. It seems to clean with out adding oil and it does not strip your skin either. I tend to get acne at certain times of the month and I have not had any problem using this cleanser.

Which colors are matte finsh rather than glimmery?
Shiney (glittery) eyeshadows don't look very good on women my age (71). How do I avoid those and select the more attractive matte finishes?
It usually states on the product description- Matte / or shimmery- ect- beside the name of the color. I would stick to the original eye primer and away from the primer shadows. They have too much shimmer and I don't care for them with the matte eyecolors at all. Good Luck! :)
