This brush is the softest brush I have ever used. I was astonished the first time I used it to apply my READY Foundation. It gives instant medium coverage and allows you to build quickly to full coverage with just one extra swipe. It is the best quality and just feels like a caress on the skin. It feels like an expensive, high end brush. A must have in your Brush Wardrobe!! =D

I have been using the Original Foundation for the last 10 years. I decided to try out the READY Foundation after seeing it on QVC, reading reviews, watching reviews on online, and hear what people had to say on Social Media. I went in to get shade matched and found that the Fair in READY actually suits me better than Fair in the Original. I LOVE this foundation. Using the new brush it just glides on. I still use the Original Foundation as a concealer, but use the READY as my everyday foundation. I work a long 10 hour day and it looks just as beautiful when I walk out of work as when I walked in. Watch the tutorials on how to apply it, get shade matched, and you will LOVE this product! =D

I just turned 30 and am really starting to think about my skin. I have not developed any lines or wrinkles yet, but I had started to see less elasticity in my skin. I decided to give this a try. I love it. It has evened out my skin tone and given it a better texture. It looks like the skin I had 5 years ago. I use this after my Clarisonic cleanse and before my moisturizer. It has become a staple in my skin care regimen and I hope to all that is holy that they don't discontinue it!!

Phrases Chosen: pretty, great as a lip color
I liked this shade. Paradise doesn't look good on my eyes because I am very, very pale and it just makes me look jaundiced. However, over any of my lip colors, it creates an amazing shade that compliments me skin tone very well. I've also used just with lip balm and I liked it a lot. I'm a red head and don't wear red lip colors, so this orange gives me a different tone other than pink and compliments my hair. =# On anyone else with darker #even only slightly darker)skin than me, this shade would be amazing....really make blue eyes POP.

These colors are amazing. They are highly pigmented and fun. They glide right on. You can create beautiful smoky eye effects with these. I love the gold color as an eye liner. I love these so much that I'm worried I won't be able to get more. These should be a staple set. The colors are always trendy in fashion and look good on all skin tones and eye colors. It's a must have. For those that have never tried READY shadows, do it. You'll fall in love with how they glide on. A little goes a long way and the skin care factor is a major bonus. LOVE these!!

When I saw this I was intrigued. I am always on the prowl for a new mascara. When you get it home and you open it, you will notice that the wand has little grooves in it. It's not a smooth stick. There is a trick to getting this to work. Hold the wand close to your eye and "Blink" into the wand. This technique was taught to me and is the best one. The tip of the wand is small enough to help you get the really teeny lashes. I wish this came in a waterproof formula and it would be my "Go to". The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find that BE mascaras tend to "Raccoon" on me as the day progresses. I work a grueling 10 hour day with no time to touch up. For shorter days, I LOVED this Mascara. Really love the brushless design. Woo! =D

I love all of the Radiances. However, Tropical is too "orange" for my skin tone# I am transparent pale and this just gives me a weird "orange" glow# I find I use this with an extremely light hand as a highlighter and sometimes as an accent on my brow bone# I can't hold a tan at all and this would work beautifully with darker/tan skin tones# However, it is high quality like all BE products# Just didn't work with my pale skin# =D

This product is very versatile. You can use it as a blush, a highlighter, and an eyeshadow. It gives you a true "rosy" tone to your cheeks. It isn't too pink, a very mauvey color. I like to use it over my blush colors to create different looks with my cheekbones. The amount they give you is very generous and lasts and lasts. Great color!!

Great Liners

Phrases Chosen: smooth, long lasting, intense
I have used many liner colors from BE over the last 10 years. They are very versatile in how you can use them. Add a teeny bit of water for precise lines and a more intense color. Use without water for a more smudged look. You can also use them as a crease accent for a "Smokey" effect. One of my favorite colors is Sugar Plum which is a great Purple color. I also really like Onyx which is a classic black. Play around with these!!! I love all the colors I have in the Liner Shadow line. =)

Best Brush for the Cateye Look
Rating

Phrases Chosen: perfect line, best cat eye
I love this brush. It was the first lining brush I bought from BE and is usually my go too. It gives a nice, precise, thin line when you need it. The wider brush base lets you cover more ground quicker and the angle gives you better precision when you need to make that perfect Cateye, winged effect. You can control the brush to make a thicker line, however it is more suited for thinner liner looks. It is high quality and stands the test of time. Remember to wash your brushes regularly!! =D

Flawless Definition Waterproof Mascara - Intense Black

Does is Raccoon??
I have tried most of the BE Mascaras and I find that all of them smudge and raccoon by the end of the day. This is frustrating because this is the absolutely ONLY item in my make up drawer that is not BE. I am very, very brand loyal and would love to buy my mascara from the wonderful people at Bare Escentuals. So.....does this smudge and raccoon? I work a 10 hour day in the public and don't want to look freakish and carry makeup remover with me 24/7!

Can I use this with my Clarisonic?
I currently use Philosophy's Purity Made Simple with my Clarisonic. However, I am a BE girl through and through. I am VERY brand loyal and want a BE product to use with my Clarisonic that does the trick as well as Purity Made Simple by Philosophy. Any insights?

How does it work?
My little sister is beginning to use make up and she is CONSTANTLY stealing my mascara. I wanted to find her something that would be more age appropriate than Big Tease because she is just starting. I don't get how this mascara would work. I couldn't really tell from the picture. I guess I don't get the concept of a brushless mascara. Would this be a good choice?
Top 100 Contributor
This mascara is for the advanced makeup wearer. It is radically different than the traditional mascaras out there. It takes patience and skill to get this to work. Once you master it, the results are amazing. I would suggest a traditional mascara to start her out and then move on to the more advanced stuff.

The perfect brush for Soft Focus All-Over Face Colors.

Is this the best brush to apply mineral veil? Also, what brush would be best to apply warmth?
help with brush selection for particular products.....
Top 100 Contributor
I would not recommend the Handy Buki Brush to apply Mineral Veil. I would use the Flawless Face brush for MV. The Handy Buki is for full coverage which is what you need with the foundation. However, MV is just a sweep on your face to set your makeup and to also give you that "airbrushed" look. So you don't want a heavy hand or you will look "cakey" and that isn't good.

How often should I clean my brushes?
I want to get the maximum life out of my brushes. How often should I clean and/or replace them?
Top 100 Contributor
Your brushes can really last forever. I recommend that you clean them at least once a week. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Also, never ever ever let anyone else use them. Your skin is precious and so easily damaged, don't let anyone touch the tools that touch your face. =D

 Face Shaping V Brush
Face Shaping V Brush
Face Shaping V Brush

Can you tell me how this brush is to be used. What is the reason for the v?Do I buff with this brush like the other brushes?
How and where would the face shaping V be used? Can I use for both foundation, blush, veil?
Top 100 Contributor
The reason for the V is that it shapes to your cheek just right to give you color perfectly. It's more of a sweeping motion than a buffing motion that I use to get the perfect sweep of color. I use a tapered blush brush to give me color to just the apples of my cheeks and I use the Shaping V with a Radiance to give me a dewy look over the blush.

 Green Eyecolor - Faith
Green Eyecolor - Faith
For enviable eyes.

I'd really like to try your eyeshadows but don't know what would look good on me
I'm fair skinned, cool toned with rose undertones, have darkish brown hair and green eyes. My eyes really "pop" when I wear green. When I wear blue, they pull a little blue-green. I know that violet shades look good with green eyes, but I've also read that some greens/teals/seafoams/blues can really make them stand out as well. Right now I'm looking at Faith. I'd like to get a few "make my eyes stand out" colors that are not too out there and that I can wear to work, but I was also wondering about some neutral colors. I usually use MAC but I'd really like to try Bare Escentuals as I've heard great things. So, do you have any recommendations in the color families that I listed above? Also, do you have a good shadow primer for me and an eyeliner? Sorry this is so long.
Top 100 Contributor
I am extremely fair skinned with cool tones. I find that the Green tones make me look sick. I have blue eyes, so the blues don't look well on me either. However, BE is great about making eye make up that is buildable. Meaning you can go for a sheer look and build it to a full "foiled" look. So you can tweak how the shades look on you. Try purple tones for you eye color. Shauntung is an AMAZING color and try with Sugar Plum liner shadow to finish the look.
