I went to the BM Boutique and was torn between the Bare Guide to Color WARM and this eye shadow collection. I bought the Warm kit. And then went back to the boutique a few days later and had to buy this. An even better bonus - my sister met me at the boutique and bought it for me for my birthday. (She rocks!!)
I love, love, love this kit. There are so many combinations one can make with this kit. Some colors, as other people have said, are not really "nude" or "bare", but I like that. I use the darker colors (Spiced Fig, In The Nude) as eye liners. My favorite shade is Nude Beach and Chic Nude. I was hoping that Pearl Sateen would be more of a vanilla color (like Vanilla Sugar), but it's really more white. Works well as a highlight below the eyebrow.
I wish that BM had a "get the look" book for this collection. I always appreciate them (and honestly, they drive me to buy more shades).
Regardless, you won't be disappointed with this collection.

I bought the Cool Kit and hated it. I decided to give this one a try. I was weary because of the "warm" title and given the over-powering colors of the Cool Kit...
But I was surprised. This is a deceptively beautiful kit that gives a beautiful natural look. I'm not cray about the brush or the eyeliner, but I love everything else in this kit. The blush is gorgeous and the eye color, which I have used alone, with the primer, and as an accent color, is so pretty. I wish the lip color had a little more color, but it is a nice natural lip look.
If you're looking for a natural looking kit, this is well worth your money.

I so badly wanted to love this kit. The blush is such a strong color, even the smallest amount makes me look like a clown (at best!). The platinum eye primer is also very strong. I've tried putting this on a couple of different ways, but haven't been happy with the results. I like the color of the eye liner, but it, too, applies very strong. Even the brush is a disappointment. It's the second kit that has a useless brush. The only thing good about this kit is the velvet charcoal eye color, which I've used as an eye liner shadow with other color combinations.
Despite trying again and again, I have not been able to get a subtle look with this kit. If I could, I'd take it back. If you like strong colors, this is a good kit. If, like me, you prefer a more natural look, skip it.

Pros: bronzer and lip balm great brush falls apart.
I bought this at Ulta. I was looking for a different kit, but the reviews on this one were great. I'm usually not a bronzer, highlighter girl. Too much work. But I love the natural color of both and the lip balm is wonderful. Great texture, great color.
Pity I can't say the same for the brush. Which is surprising, as BE is known for their great brushes. But this one... no matter which direction I use it, I end up with brush hairs all over my face. Very, very annoying. If I didn't like the bronzer and lip balm so much, I'd return it.
I love the cool feeling of putting this on my skin. Not only does it have the same perfecting aspects of the original Mineral Veil, but it makes me feel like I'm pampering my skin when I use the Hydrating version. It's a must have for my dry skin - especially in the winter.
I was hesitant about this shade because I'm pretty light, but it was listed on one of the looks on this web site, so I gave it a try. I have to say that it is my most-often used blush - with or without using warmth. I just love it. Applied lightly, it gives my cheeks a natural blush looking. Doesn't look heavy or made up (or orange - as I feared from the color seen here).

I really love all the Big & Bright eyeliners (except for maybe, OZ, which is a true green and is growing on me). This color works equally well with peach, yellows, and browns. Just depends on the look. For a more natural look, I tend to go with Espresso, Charcoal or Sage but for a bolder look, I go with Midnight or Black Coffee.
