Perfect kit to keep in my gym bag or purse. I generally rush out of the house in the morning, and this is the perfect addition so I can quickly put myself together before work!! I love the eyeshadows, they are the perfect colors for me, and the blush and bronzer are flattering for any skin tone. I just added a mascara to my purse, and I'm ready whenever!! More variety in stuff like this would be great!!

I use solely BE products for my makeup, and skincare, and rarely stray from the product line. I was so excited when I saw they were coming out with new solid eye shadows. I wear generally brown or gold eyeshadows, and was excited to step out of my box a little with "The Elements." I have found that these colors last throughout my day, and blend nicely together. I can create several different looks with the shadows in the quad, or combine them with my other BE eyeshadows for even more options.
I also bought the Christmas collections of the 8.0 sets (both of the sets when they were released for preview) and have LOVED trying out the new shades. They come with several different looks to try, and they look great with my skin tone. The colors are bright, vibrant, and different than the other shades I have from BE so far.
I will continue to buy these quads when I want to test out a new shade, they look great and are less messy than the loose shadows. I do tend to use my own eyeshadow brushes, or even my fingers for application, the little sponge applicators don't give me the look I want with my shadows, so I just apply it the same way I would apply the loose powder.
Keep it up, BE, I LOVE the new products!!!

would this work for my complexion?
I'm specifically referring to the lipgloss - my foundation is 'Golden Dark', and my favourite blush is "Joyous Jennifer"! Just want to make sure I wouldn't look ridiculous with it on!
The lipgloss actually goes on pretty clear, on me, it doesn't show up as anything other than a light sparkle, and I'm relatively tan, and typically wear darker red/berry lipsticks. Hope that helps.

I ordered this and love the eyeliner, but I haven't been able to get it to twist up... Is it supposed to?

It's not a twist up eye-liner, the around the clock eyeliners all require a sharpener.
