Phrases Chosen: best basic kit with a punch
This kit is great. Each item in the lineup works with the others, or with anything else you may already have in your arsenal. The lip balm is insanely great, and like others, I am utterly baffled that it doesn't A) exist on its own and B) come in a variety of colors. Also, I was surprised at how much I liked the Queen Phyllis matte eyeshadow. It wakes my face right up, even without the primer. The eyeliner is not quite an emerald green, in my opinion, but it's still nice (just more earthy than bright).
Overall, this kit is pretty close to perfect.

Is there an SPF in the lip balm?
Is the lip balm a shiny or matte finish?
It's like a regular "chapstick" type balm with a kick of color. I think it's a lot like Clinique's black honey lip color - just not as dark.
