I wouldn't have bought this brush alone but, it came in my current get started kit. i was skeptical as it is way too big for blusher. I decided to try it with the veil instead. Wow! I finally get why you're supposed to use the veil. it put on more than the sheer white tipped brush i was using but not too much more. my skin tone totally evened out and looked less blotchy!

great as a blush

I use this as a blush (as an allover color it makes me orange). I love it as a blush becauase it is very hard to find a clear warm peach color in the makeup world. Usually, the peach is too pale to see or is acutally a brown color. This shows up great and is orange-y as it should be :)
Note: I have light golden skin with a very clear quality but I don't have light or blonde hair, it is dark which makes finding stuff with the right intensity & clarity hard (not washed out or muddy when applied) . If that is you too you-- will love this as blush

What is the difference?
What is the main difference between the Angled Face Brush and the Angled Blush Brush? Which one is more dense?
The angled blusher is for precision as it fits your cheekbone or the hollow of your cheek only. It can also, double as an eyeshadow blender. The angled face, for me, hits my cheek hollow and cheekbone at the same time, if i just put it below the bone it also hits way down below the hollow, almost to the jawline. I like an angled blush over a straight blush brush--if you do as well, the angled face can be nice because it can work as a foundation brush but will get your face contours better. Oh yea, they seem like the same density to me.

 Blush - Cheerful
Blush - Cheerful
Naturally good-for-you cheek color.

It's a toss up between Cheerful-precious pink and Laughter-coral rose for me...
Still pretty new to Bare escentuals but after reviewing all the colors carefully on a computer screen I've narrowed it down to these two--I think! I switch foundation colors from fairly medium in summer/fall to fairly light in winter/spring. I freckle a little when I tan, increasingly with age in the Rocky Mountains. Any suggestions?
well, i would say if you have yellow tones in your skin or tend to peach or clear red lipstick or polish get laughter but, if you have more blue or rosy undertones and like say mauve-y or fushia type lipstick or polish try the cheerful. Sometimes, you just don't know til you get it. i thought golden gate looked peachy and warm in the jar but, at home on my cheeks it was mauve-y which was bad for me & my warm skin. I actually own laughter and it is a nice warm shade. i also have pale freckles; i use light most of the time but medium when its summer.

Get Started: Eyes Cheeks Lips - Light to Medium
Get Started: Eyes Cheeks Lips - Light to Medium
perfect finish for all complexions

Which shade kit would be best for me? I have olivetoned skin w/th golden undertones.
I have been matched to the "Golden Medium" foundation twice. I went to a local store and when the lady helping me put on "Golden Medium" on my jaw line & you couldn't see any visable line where she put that foundation. It blended right in, I couldn't even see where she put it. So, I guess that means that is the right shade. If so, which kit (light to medium, or medium to tan would be best. I know Leslie has said "golden medium" is really in the tan family) so I'm not sure.
unfortunately some less common colors or skin combos don't come in a "kit". I always wanted one that had fairly light & light in it but, they don't make it. There is a collection that mixes & matches face stuff on here & you could try that or get those newer customized kits that let you pick any foundation you want for the kit.

Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish - Bunny
Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish - Bunny
You'll know it's working when a tingly, cooling sensation rushes over you.

What happened to Ginger????It was my all time favorite shade of Buxom. I have been hooked on Buxom for years and it's all I use. I need Ginger!
Is there any way to buy it???? How can we know in advance when shades will be discontinued, so that we can buy them up before they are gone?
Try the "last chance" section on this site, it's under the shop menu. I found "roxy" there which was my favorite & for years, I didn't even know they had made it in a big size or even still had some period--yet there it was in "last chance". I used to also like "banana" for layering but, alas they did not have it there.

You can't really know in advance if something will discontinue so, if you like it, get another & don't crack it open til the original one is empty. I also, put it in a ziplock in the fridge for fresheness but, that's probably not really required unless you live in a hot state.

I'm looking for a great lip plumper and I was looking at the buxom lip plumper and was wondering if the results are permanent?
Are the results from the lip gloss permanent or do I have to keep reapplying through out the day?
This Buxom stuff is about all I ever use on my lips anymore. The plumping isn't permanent though. I personally think it plumps them more if you apply, wait a few minutes, blot and then apply a second coat. Also, if you live in a state other than roasting AZ or it is winter you don't have to re-apply it as often. They don't look plumped just because of color either, they look plumped even if you use clear.
