The Comfort Zone
Rating
5 out of 5
5 out of 5
Pros: beautiful, long-lasting, smooth, blendable, pigmented, simple
The Comfort Zone is a must-have. Every time I buy an eyeshadow, I seem to run out of the base colors like these so quickly because they are so blendable with a variety of looks and shades. The Comfort Zone is great because it's just a collection of those base colors, so you don't end up having a ton of crease and brow bone colors left in a 4.0 collection and then none of the base color in the grouping. Plus, the colors are highly pigmented and long-wearing, so you don't have to use half the eyeshadow to get any color pay off. I really recommend everyone get this. It'll make your favorite eyeshadow groupings last twice as long.

Hydrating but better products for wrinkles
Rating
3 out of 5
3 out of 5
Pros: hydrating, smoothing
This product is definitely hydrating but I recommend the Active Cell Night Repair Serum much more for wrinkles, skin dullness, and acne. If your main concern is skin dryness and poor texture, this is the product for you because your skin will be very hydrated and soft after using it, but if you're focusing on treating wrinkles, skin dullness, and acne- which is what I recommend the Active Cell Night Repair Serum most for- I recommend you forgo this. This will slightly lessen wrinkles over several weeks, but only slightly. You notice a difference with wrinkles and skin dullness with the Active Cell Night Repair Serum after about 2 days. However, the hydration and smoothing benefits with the Mineralixirs 5-Oil Blend are instantaneous. You can use both the Active Cell Night Repair Serum and the Mineralixirs 5-Oil Blend together and your skin will look amazing, but it really isn't necessary unless you're looking for extensive skin damage repair. If you decide to use both, use the Active Cell Night Repair Serum directly on your skin after cleansing it, then mix a few drops of the Mineralixirs 5-Oil Blend into your moisturizer before applying it.

Great to Combat Hyper-Pigmentation
Rating
4 out of 5
4 out of 5
Pros: brightening, highlighting, multi-functional
This works well on under-eye dark circles, but I prefer to use the Stroke of Light eye brightener to combat my dark circles. What I really love using this for is to combat the hyper-pigmentation around my mouth. I have some broken capillaries around my nose & uneven skin tone around my mouth, & this completely eliminates the appearance of both. It also makes the area around your mouth brighter, so lip colors look really good. Note, put it on AFTER your primer because applying primer on top of it seems to just wipe it off. The only reason I didn't give it 5 hearts is because sometimes the dial seems to malfunction. You can dial it up like 10 times & nothing comes out, or sometimes you click it up once & a huge glob comes up. Maybe it's just my particular pen.

Perfect Solution for Dark Circles!
Rating
5 out of 5
5 out of 5
Pros: amazing, dark circle solution, brightening, concealer
I have SEVERE under-eye dark circles. They run in my family & I've had them since I was young. Plus, I'm prone to insomnia, so that doesn't exactly help. I had tried EVERYTHING to decrease their appearance. I was using the bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper, concealer, foundation, & Well Rested Powder, & they still weren't completely gone. Now, after adding the Stroke of Light after my bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper, they are 100% gone. I look younger & more rested. I use it all under & in the inner corner of my eyes before I do my makeup routine & it looks amazing. It also works miraculously as a heavy-duty concealer for blemishes that are incredibly red. I apply my Prime Time, allow it to dry, then apply a tiny dot to an incredibly red blemish & it disappears after foundation. A wonderful second usage.

Perfection, but Shade-Matching is a MUST!
Rating
5 out of 5
5 out of 5
Pros: great coverage, simple, hydrating, natural, portable
I immediately scheduled an appointment with my local boutique when this was released to get shade-matched & purchase this & I must say it is ESSENTIAL! ALL the formulations are slightly different, so I'm Fairly Light in Original & Golden Fair in Matte. Since I vary, I wasn't sure what color I'd be in the READY so I definitely needed help. I thought I might be Medium Beige since that's what most people who're Fairly Light in Original go to in the READY, but when I got to the appointment, I found I am the exception to the rule! I am Fairly Light in both the READY foundation & Original! I was very surprised. Most people need to go up 2 shades in the READY foundations than their normal shade. I highly recommend that you go to your local boutique or Sephora to get shade-matched if you can. It is indeed vital if you want a perfect match. Also, the Precision Face Brush is a MUST-HAVE if you use this.

Salvation for Acne!
Rating
5 out of 5
5 out of 5
Pros: must-have, acne, hydrating, firming
I was initially very skeptical of trying this. When it was released I was just in my mid-twenties & didn't think I needed an anti-aging product, despite being told by a doctor that I had low skin elasticity & once I started to age, it would be irreparable & drastic. But I went into my local boutique & heard an employee rave about how it had completely helped her acne, which I could physically see. I never grew out of my acne after puberty & while it got exponentially better after switching to the Bare Escentuals skincare line, I was still suffering from very rare breakouts. So, the employees kindly gave me a few samples & 2 weeks later & was back in the boutique buying my own bottle & have used it every night since its release. Now my breakouts are COMPLETELY gone & my skin looks beautiful & smooth. I HIGHLY recommend it for people that suffer from acne, regardless of their age.

Pros: smooth, applies easily, matches many lip colors
Probably the best lipliner I've ever used. It applies evenly & smoothly. I love the attached sharpener. I was worried about it not working with many lipstick colors, but I was pleased to find I was very wrong. It works with so many of my lip colors & is so versatile! Love it! I also love that it's 100% natural. You're going to be eating off your lip color all day whether you want to or not, so it's important that it doesn't contain anything that's extremely bad for you.

Pros: many options
It's a lovely, sparkly collection that blends with eachother well, but I think the pink shade is unwearable. I have porcelain skin & the pink shadow literally made me look sick & made my eyes look puffy. I'm sure it'd look fabulous on other skintones, but it certainly didn't look good on me. That's definitely not reason enough to not purchase the collection though! It's a good value & works in so many fun ways.

Pros: long-wearing, smooth, blendable, fast
I really like this product. It lasts all day just like the other Prime Time collection of products. It is quick & simple to apply, which significantly cuts down on the amount of time it takes to apply your makeup, which is a big advantage. I love it in the violet, peach, & Racing Green colors, but I personally recommend avoiding the Urban Nature delicate moss shade. It is very misleading color-wise. I actually returned it. I highly recommend the other shades though! It's a wonderful product that I think is a must-have for everyones BE collection.

Pros: not helpful
Not only is this not a true smoky eye, it doesn't even show up when she applies some of the product. I think the lighting in the room was bad which helps no one.

Questions

Do I need an eyelid primer on top of the bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper?
I use the bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper & adore I it, but my eyeshadow doesn't really stay put with it. My eyeshadow will fall into my creases & sometimes become so sheer over the course of the day that it doesn't look like I'm wearing eyeshadow at all by the end of it. Should I continue to use my Eye Rev-er Upper & just put a eye Prime Time on top of it? Can I do that, or would the products interact poorly?

What tool/s would I use to apply this?
From reading reviews I really want to try this product out for myself, but im not sure what brushes or tools i would need?
I recommend the Double Ended Liner Shadow Brush. The one end has the Precision Liner Brush which is larger & easier for beginners. It definitely makes it easy to push liner shadows into the lash line. The other side is the Eye Liner brush. It is a very thin, paint-like brush that is for more experienced users. I feel like applies the liner shadow better wet than the Precision Liner Brush. I hope that helps.

Does this shampoo expire?
I have a bottle that I bought over 3 years ago and am wondering if I should use it or buy a new one...there's no expiration date on the bottle so I have no idea if it's still good. Any thoughts?
It doesn't expire. The only reason I would replace it is if it has lost its shampoo-like quality. If it is very runny & thin, or overly-thick & gelatinous, I'd buy a new 1 or at least go to a BE or Sephora consultant & get their opinion.

 Weather Everything Liner Sealer

Weather Everything eyeliner sealer...detailed instructions on how to use the product.
Do I have to mix the sealer with the eyeshadow powder to use? Do I add it after I apply the eyeliner? How do I apply it...with my finger or do I use a brush? If I use a brush it takes the shadow powder off. I am confused.
The way to use the Weather Everything Eyeliner Sealer is to open one slot in the little clear mixing case provided in the kit, put in 2 drops of the solution, then add in a small amount of the eyeshadow you desire to make into an eyeliner into that slot with the solution. Take an eyeliner brush & use it to mix together the solution and eyeshadow into an even, paint-like liquid. You may need to add more eyeshadow powder or the sealer solution depending on what consistency you want the eyeliner to be. Then apply the liquid you've created with the eyeliner brush. Don't use your finger, as it would only smudge anything you'd previously applied on your eye. I hope that helps.
