It is a lot better than the original formula (which made me super rashy). Not crazy about it having Zinc Oxide and Silica (rating of 3 and 6 on EWG, respectively). Didn't make me break out, however even the lightest color wasn't quite right. Used this for about a year but have moved on to another brand that has my shade.

The original formula made me break out like I was using cheap store bought makeup. It made me itch and my face was splotchy, red rash mess. Switched to matte, which was okay.

The first bottle I used of this, was fine and showed results. Second round, I broke out every time I used it. Not sure if they changed something or it took me that long to have a reaction to something in it. Returned it.

Last chance colors

I'm reviewing multiple colors of the last chance colors. I have pale skin and use Fair Matte. That being said, if I don't like the color because of my pale skin and you have darker skin, you will probably love those colors.
Oasis (glimmer) - nice light moss green that is shiny. Maybe you can call it a yellow-green. I believe it is in the glimmer category. I really like using this color either alone or with Oz. It also looks lovely wet.
Reflection (matte) - great base color for paler skin tones. Matte and very light blue tint.
Energy (glitter) - didn't like this too much so I used it for eye liner. Very, very glittery and messy! I think mine wasn't full but I also lost some because this color is so messy. Almost used it all up due to this.
Mojito (glitter) - not crazy about this as even on my pale skin it does not show up much. I use it for a base instead. Probably looks better on tan or dark complexions.
Merlot (glitter) - definitely a glitter color and probably great for medium to dark skin tones. Bought as a gift that I can't give because my friend is allergic. I haven't made up my mind so haven't opened it yet. It is a very pretty purple-red color.
Graphite (matte) - bought this as a gift too, nice dark grey color. This should be nice for eye liner or on dark skin tones. I think it is too dark for me.
Serenity (matte) - I love this color! I can put it on lightly all over my lid or in the crease or put it on wet and heavy as a liner. This is a very versatile medium brown color.

I love this brush, the coverage is amazing and it is very soft. It doesn't itch and feels like fluffy clouds. Yes, it does shed a little bit but I've never had brushes not shed so to me it isn't a deal breaker. If it fell apart completely, then yes, deal breaker. But this isn't the case! I really love this brush and if you need a large face brush, this is for you. I use it for my foundation and mineral veil daily.

I got matched in store to this color and it was actually what I was thinking of using. I really love the color and it adds a subtle glow or I can play my cheeks up and use more without looking garish. Perfect for lighter and fair skin tones. It has a hint of glimmer in it, which would be great without but I love the shade still.

Phrases Chosen: smudges
I got this free with my latest order also. It is fine but does smudge really easy. I only used it once. I saw the ingredients and I'm not sure if jojoba is what I'm allergic to. I had a really bad reaction to the 100% natural lip gloss and that is the only thing I can see that might do me in. I think I will stick to using an eyeliner brush and dipping it into minerals. I will pass this on to a friend who will be excited to have it. :)

This brush is just okay, I don't really see anything special about it. I use it if I am doing all over my eye with a neutral color because it does blend well for small surfaces. I suppose it can be used for warmth or a blush as well. Enjoy!

Phrases Chosen: glittery
I ordered this set because of the sale price and I just became a BE user, so I wanted some eye shadows. These colors are more glittery than I expected, but I use the creme and pink color often. The green does not show much on my pale complexion, but I'm sure a darker complected person would really love it. The blue is pretty much pure glitter that is blue. I use it as a liner if I'm going out at night but not really at all normal days. I haven't used the brownish color much, but it is nice and I like to blend it with the creme or use as a liner. The purple is a beautiful color and I wear lots of purple, so this gets used often. Great deal for the amount of product and these will be great for medium to dark skin tones. Just the green doesn't live up to what I had hoped so I gave it 4 stars. Enjoy!

Are bareMinerals products non-comedogenic?
I have oily/sensitive skin and my dermatologist wants me to use only non-comedogenic makeup to help with my acne.

Are bareMinerals products non-comedogenic?

I've been using bareMinerals products for years and would hate to have to find another brand!
Their matte formula is non-comedogenic. Not sure about their moisturizers because I've had issues with them. Try Half Pint Minerals foundation---more gentle and less expensive.

fairly light in matte too dark for my skin?
I just got the try. believe. love. kit. It comes with a small matte foundation, a small original foundation, a small mineral veil, an extra small concealer, a concealer brush, and a full flawless face brush. I have acne, so I decided I should try bare minerals since it would not irritate my skin. It just came in the mail yesterday. I just put it on, and noticed with the matte foundation I looked orange (I ordered fairly light for both foundations), but original matched me perfectly. has anyone else noticed a color difference? I have oily skin and want to use matte, so I was wondering if I should return it and get the shade light, which is for less orange undertones...
also, I almost forgot. the concealer was in bisque, but it was too dark. It looked like I had put red-brown splotches on my zits, not very concealing. is there anything I can do to lighten it up but still have coverage?
Matte colors are darker than original colors. Try FAIR in matte.

 Blush - Vintage Peach

Which blush shade is closest to coral, with less pink-vintage peach or golden gate? Or other?
I am half Asian with medium skin and yellow undertones and I'm looking for a coral-colored blush.. I'm currently using True in combination with Tarte's Amazonian clay blush in Tipsy and find that Tipsy's color (coral/orange) really makes my skin pop and glow. But I much prefer BE's long wear as well as coverage and 'setting'. Is there a BE blush that is close to a coral/orange? I've read different reviews of golden gate and vintage peach, many describe both as 'peachy pink' or similar to Nars Org. which I also have. Would like to lean away from pinkish hues and more towards coral for my next purchase. Can you recommend a closest match?
I think the Vintage Peach would be great for your skin tone. It is more of a peach but not "pinkish." I know what you mean and I do not like the pinky ones either. I have pink undertones and they only make my face more pale. Go with Vintage Peach. :)
