Love mineral viel, dislike this product's design

Phrases Chosen: skip this one, flawed design
Looks fun, right? Looks like it would make application quick and easy, right? Nope and nope. You get more bang for your buck purchasing the Ready or the loose stuff. If you want loose and on the go (why I thought I'd try this) I would say the product design is slightly worse, but very similar to the refillable brush that used to be sold and one can still find on sites like ebay. For $26, I might have opted to skip this had I been able to try before I bought it. Mineral veil is nice, very fine and the product inside is the same we know and love, but the execution/application method is lacking. Powder spills out willy nilly when you shake. I advise using the back of your hand initially to avoid a mess. Or skip this product altogether and try another new product!
This product isn't designed to be refilled, but I might fiddle with it once the 8 grams of powder is gone. Might end up breaking it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
The design: 2 holes underneath the brush base unlock when you swivel the disc to reveal the brush head. Shake to get the powder through the holes, then brush. I had to shake and brush several times to get the powder to spread throughout the brush (since there are only 2 holes). Swivel the brush back around to relock the holes and conceal the brush.

The 2 product images seem to show 2 very different shades of pink - which is it? Hot pink or peachy rosy?
Please provide better color descriptions and accurate photos of the product.

Is it refillable n does it lock?
...so if it gets twisted open, it won't spill in my bag.
It does lock when you swivel the brush back to the closed position. The outer case gets messy though.
It is not designed to be refilled, but I looked at the device and it might be possible (with some effort) to pry the pieces apart and use a very small spoon to refill the reservoir. I am going to try to refill mine - when the powder runs out and IF I am not totally dissatisfied with the product design.
See my product review for more rambling.
