Favorite Liquid Foundation!

I waited until I had used this product for awhile before I completed my review. This liquid is so light on my skin and makes my skin so beautiful! I prefer a medium to heavy coverage so I use about 4-5 drops and my first bottle lasted for months using it 3-4 times a week. I noticed several people were saying their bottles oozed. I saw this too...air would build up between the bottle opening and the product. I just tapped the bottom of the bottle on the counter top and viola!!!, problem solved. I know some people are still not going to fully enjoy this product but I have found that some of the formulas don't work well with the chemistry of my skin either..... The bottle has to be slightly hard to squeeze or you would spray the product everywhere. I just go by how the product sounds when I shake the bottle to know how empty or full the bottle is. This is the only liquid foundation I will be using for as long as they keep it around!!!

Pros: creamy, long lasting, a must have
I received Barely Nude as part of the Hot List collection. The product is extremely creamy and easy to apply. It looks amazing and really does last all day, not just an 8 hour day. It last without creasing in 95 degree weather while I was outside. This product looks amazing on its own and makes my other shadows last all day as well.
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the preview party at my local boutique. However, I will be going as soon as possible to pick out more colors of this wonderful product. I am going to need a separate bathroom for all of my BE makeup if they keep bringing out such wonderful products!!!

Pros: creamy, beautiful, wonderful colors
The picture of this palette is probably the most true to the real colors I've ever seen. The "jade" color is really a blue that reminds me of water. The colors all work really well together and I feel the finishes work well together as well. The blue is actually kind of sheer but buildable, which I like because my eyes are blue. I can work to a really pretty color without washing my eyes out.
I'm still working on different looks with it. I'd love if BE posted ideas with this palette and the future ones. I can't wait to see the rest of the palettes they release in this series.

Pros: long lasting
I'm a little late to the game but I finally tried the ready foundation after being a fan of the loose powder foundation for years. I got the precision face brush to use with it and couldn't be happier. I was always disappointed after a twelve hour work day with how my powder foundation looked. Apparently I have more combination skin than I thought. So, I got the oil control foundation primer and the ready foundation and tried them together. I couldn't be happier!!!! I noticed about half way though the day my skin felt a little cakey (don't think that's really a word) but my complexion still looked flawless and not oily at all. I actually worked about sixteen hours that day and my makeup stayed strong the whole time. So now I'll be using both depending on how long I plan to be wearing my makeup. I can't wait to be able to try the new bareskin foundation as well!
P.S. I was a shade darker than in the loose powder. Keep that in mind if you can only order off the internet. I would definitely recommend going into the store to try and/or see the product before buying.

Pros: my skin looks better than it ever has
I'm kinda pale with a little tan but a lot of redness and dark circles. I got the number 2's because they have a more yellow undertone and they do very well to at covering up the redness on my face and dark circles under my eyes. I've noticed after wearing the makeup all day for a couple days in a row my skin is less red, my under eye area less dark and my pores are getting smaller. BE foundation always made my skin better but the correct/concealer makes the change quicker and more noticeable. Once my usual foundation/mineral veil routine is complete, my skin looks flawless! I've always loved BE and this just gives me even more to love!!!!

I watched this video numerous time before purchasing these products. I followed her suggestions, used my ring finger for application and used mineral veil all over my face afterwards (my job doesn't allow much makeup). It was very natural looking and for the first time, made my under eye dark circles disappear!!!! I love your video tutorials....keep them coming!!!

Pros: can i add more stars please!!!!
Ok....so I wasn't much of lip gloss or lipstick person until I tried the 100% natural lip gloss. Loving that and thinking I would love this color, I ordered this a couple weeks ago. I love the color alone and layered over darker bolder lip colors to tone them down or "pink" them up a little. I can't get enough of this lip gloss....I have ordered a backup tube already with plans to get at least one more!!!!
This is very different from the 100% natural lip gloss. I think the moxie lip gloss is less sheer and adds more color payoff to your lips in a gloss form. It seems a little stickier at first but once warmed up by my body temperature, its creamy and seems to moisturize my lips all day long.

I got this kit a week ago. I love the neutral brown colors with my skin tone so I went ahead and bought two kits at once. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tried all of the colors. I can't get enough of this kit. All of the colors look wonderful alone or combined. I've tried multiple combinations and they all look amazing. I love how bright and open the lighter shades make my eyes. Right now I'm loving these colors with a bolder lip

Pros: wonderful summer look
I bought this at the boutique today and had to try it immediately.
The BB cream for the eyes is wonderfully soft, smooth, and creamy. It makes a great blank canvas for the eyeshadow. This kept my eyeshadow exactly where I wanted it all day long.
The eyeshadow palette (Hot Shot) is perfectly matched, the colors look amazing together. If you're not really into all the shimmer, the darker shade is a matte shadow.
The all over face powder (A little sun matte) and the Luminizer (The Most Wanted) create a wonderful sun kissed summer look. They are also wonderful if you want to contour your face. (Still practicing this!!! :-P)
The lipstick was the scariest part of this collection. I am pale and generally use a pink or neutral lip. I experimented with different amount of color and found that even bold this color looks good with my skin tone. I even used a little of the heartbreaker lip gloss over is for a softer hue and some shimmer and loved it even more!!
I love the collections that BareMinerals offers. They are such a wonderful way to get things I know I love and try some things that I normally wouldn't if they were on their own.

I am kind of pale with a slight tan still hanging on from last summer. I got this product because I needed a solution for the dark circles I always have underneath my eyes. I got it at the store today and had to try it out. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I used it under my foundation and applied it with the wand then smoothed it out with my finger. Once my foundation was applied, the dark circles were gone and my eyes looked wide and awake. This product will now be a constant part of my makeup routine.

shades
i currently use fairly light, sometimes mix w/fairly medium matte powder foundation. im asian w/dark brown hair, fair skin. what shade would be right for me? thank you.
Sounds like your going to need bare linen and bare natural if you use those loose powders. I use those loose powders and the liquid ones I listed are a perfect match for my skin in the liquid formula.

I use the fair matte powder foundation. Which liquid shade should I get? Thanks!
Trying to find the best shade match. Thank you.
Get on the website and find our powder foundation...is it the palest for neutral, cool or warm tones? Then go find the same shade in the liquid for the same undertone.....like I'm fairly light in the loose powder and bare linen in the liquid....same shade and undertone just different formulas. Hope this helps!!!

2 Part Question: Which foundation type is best for deep wrinkles (parenthesis) and which shade for pink undertone skin?
I am 59 and need to find a new foundation that won't make my facial wrinkles so obvious. Up until now the only foundation I have found that blends into my face color is Pink 2 by Shishedo (sp?). I am very fair and have pink tones compliments of my red headed dad..lol
I have wasted so much money on liquids, powder foundation, mineral ones and I can no longer afford to waste money as I am disabled and on a fixed income.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
betty
Pick the shade that best matches you and then get the one for cool undertones. If you have a boutique or an Ulta or a sephora close to you, you can go in and try the different types of foundations on your problem areas and see which one you like the best. The different formulas work slightly differently in my opinion and your skin may prefer one over the other.

I like the coverage from READY SPF 20 Foundation except that it produces wrinkles along my jaw line that do not show up with other foundations?
I do use Bare Minerals moisturizer, prime time before applying foundation. I will try a layer of mineral veil between primer and foundation and see if it helps. It doesn't look so much like it settles into wrinkles. It looks like I have a patch of skin about the size of a quarter on each side of my face that looks shriveled. What am I doing wrong? I am 52.
I am not a professional but I have tried the Original, Ready and Bareskin formulas on my skin. They all work differently!!! My personal advise would be to try the Bareskin formula and a primer to see if that works any better.

I'm a Medium Beige in the original foundation. What shade would be best for me in the Ready foundation?
And do I need the Precision Brush to use this foundation?
It's general rule that you'll be one shade darker than the Original formula in the Ready foundation. However, after my experience, if you can get to a boutique or anywhere that sells it so you can test it first and/or be shade matched, that's the best.

I've heard of other people using other foundation brushes to apply the ready foundation. I have the precision face brush. I love the brush because it picks up just enough product and blends it so well over my whole face. This brush is very soft as well.

I would think almost any brush would work but I definitely think you should use a brush to get it blended well

Between the ready and Bareskin, which formula is more sweat proof for summer?
I am debating between the two foundations never trying either yet. I want a somewhat sweat proof formula that won't completely be removed when wiping my mouth when eating, etc.
I am not a professional makeup artist or anything but I have tried both formulas and work outside no matter how hot or cold it is.

I think (at least with my skin, yours may be different) they both last about the same in the heat and they both will wipe off while using a napkin. I have used both with and without primer. The Ready foundation, I feel, does a little better than Bareskin without a primer as far as last power. However, while using a primer, I feel the Bareskin does better and looks better throughout the day (more natural, not like a mask) while working in the heat and sweating (a lot).

Yes, this set comes in the minis. However, the shadows last forever, especially for me since I can't wear them heavily/dark.

Are all BE eyeshadows so shimmery?
I've purchased 2 BE eyeshadows and they're both so shimmery. Are they all that way? I'd prefer some that are matte and less Las Vegas-esque for work. This set appears to be toned down. Are they? Thanks.
These are somewhat shimmery but can be put on very lightly so they only brighten or heavily so there is a lot of shimmer. I have no doubt these will also blend well with all of the BE shadows. When you're looking online, look for the shadows that are described as "matte" if you want color with no shimmer at all. There are also the satins which are somewhere in the middle between the mattes and the shimmers.

How to Keep This from Going On Too Dark
Help! I'd love to add just a little warmth to my face, as this product is designed to do. But it goes on too dark, so I look oddly dark on my face. I've tried putting it on with the fan brush, but then I don't see any additional color in my face at all.

Any tips and tricks in terms of applicator brush to apply it with and how to get the color just right?

(FYI -- I'm a warm "light" -- I use Fairly Light if I'm really pale, but usually I'm Golden Fair, or Light.)

Thanks!
I am very pale as well. My suggestion would be to be very careful to put only a very small amount of product in the lid and I use a blush style brush with tapered bristles. Then, start to where you can't see any color and build to what you're happy with. This may take some time but you'll avoid going straight to having makeup that's too dark.
