Useful both on lids and on dark circles

A lot of reviewers are saying that this product is hard to blend, but I find it easier to use than the original primer. Try patting it on the lids, not rubbing. I did not find the sparkle to be overwhelming, probably because I have very fair skin. My eyeshadow color was not brightened or altered by the primer. On my undereyes, I use this primer as a base for Well-rested and it looks perfect on me. This product is a dream come true and has completely changed the look of my eyes (in a very good way!). I would recommend it to anyone with fair skin, particularly if you find the Well-rested to be a little bit too yellowish or gold for your skin.

Excellent crease brush for darker colors

Pros: outer crease, darkest colors
I use this brush in my outer crease. The pointed tip makes it ideal for more precise, dark colors that you want to put in a smaller area of the eye. I use it in my outer corners, as well, to blend my outer crease color into my eyeliner. I have found that a round crease brush works best for lighter crease colors in the full crease (literally, the full crease from one corner of the eye to the other) and this brush is ideal if you then want to place a darker color just in the outer portion of the eye for added definition. Note: I did not really care for this brush at first, but then I learned how to properly use it and now I love it. It has a fairly specific, but essential, task.

This color is incredible. Zoom in real close on the picture, and you will see that what looked like your everyday, typical deep plum is actually full of vivid green sparkle. If you foil it, that image is exactly what you will see on your lid. I am always on the hunt for unique colors, and this one is a winner! Wear it with the matte blue-green Mermaid eyecolor to bring on the green sparkle, or purchase the Buzzworthy Collection to get this color and many other products to go with it. I also reviewed both of these options, and they are quality!

Pros: unique, summer
I have green eyes and normally do not like to wear green on my lids (competes with my eyes). This is the only green I wear, because it is so beautiful, unique (blue-green), and blendable. Since it is darker and matte, it can be worn in classic day looks - it is a great alternative to browns and greys as a crease color. For a night look, try it on the whole lid. You can blend it up into the crease very easily, which is not always the case with matte colors. I bought this on a whim, but once it came in the mail I was captivated by it. Give it a try! If you don't like it, someone else will, and it make a great summer gift. Besides, who wouldn't want to wear a color called "Mermaid?"

Flawless color, but where is the brush?!

First of all, I love this color, it's a beautiful deep red, great on fair skin. But with dark colors, it is really important to have even application. Part of what appealed to me about this color was that it came with a brush applicator, as shown in the picture. However, when I opened mine, it did NOT have the brush but rather the original sponge applicator that is present on the more sheer Buxoms. The lack of brush applicator is the only reason I give this 4 stars; I will likely invest in a lip brush to better apply this beautiful product. I love you BE but I'm bummed, and I think you should make every full-color Buxom with a brush applicator in the future.

I bought this kit not only because the colors looked gorgeous but also because I wanted to try some of the items in the kit. If you want to experiment with the high-shine eyecolors, Charisma is a pretty nude that can be toned down for day. The lipstick is also a natural, warm shade that is wearable and great for summer. If you have wanted to give Well-rested a shot without buying a full-sized pot, this is your chance. I have a million face colors but was still excited when I saw how good Glee looked on me. That said, I think the Popular eyecolor is the real star of this kit: it's a deep plum glimmer with a bright wash of iridescent jade. Unique and stunning when foiled. Great colors for great value!

I love how vivid this pink is, but it is still sheer enough to look natural and tasteful. It's rare that you see women wearing bold shades on their lips, so pick this up and stand out from the crowd! I like to pair it with neutrals on my eyes so that the lip color really stands out. The picture shown here is pretty accurate with the color.

Awesome formula, but choose your color carefully

The actual formula was thinner and more natural-looking that I expected; it also stays nicely in place, and I found that lip liner was unnecessary. That said, although this color is not too dark on my fair skin, it wasn't as pink as I was hoping. It has some gold shimmer and is just slightly coppery. Still a great shade on me, but read reviews on the colors before purchasing so you know what it will actually look like out of the bottle. Because the color is so rich, there isn't a lot of transparency (like with the other Buxom colors) and you definitely want to choose a color that's a good match.

I am fairly young and don't have a whole lot of skin problems (other than the occasional breakout), but after using this regularly my skin does seem to have a more uniform look to it. My texture has improved, as well. I can't really say that it works miracles, but it's worth trying. It is a little bit pricey, but there is quite a bit of powder and it lasts a long time. Just make sure you wash the brush, and only apply it to clean skin. Brushes can start to accumulate bacteria, and this bacteria is what actually causes breakouts.
That said, I have found another use for this product! As many women have said, it does make your skin look incredible without really adding any sort of heavy coverage. It's like Mineral Veil 2.0! If you don't have time to buff on your complexion with the foundation, throw a little bit of this on and you will at least have a fairly even skin tone and a healthy glow. I often wear it under my foundation, both for its skin benefits and as a sort of base/primer. I really think that this product is underrated as a foundation substitute, since it is a quick easy way to look good while improving your skin quality.
Overall, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I do think it could be somewhat less expensive.

Pros: stunning
I am not a big fan of bright colors, but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and purchase this shade. It is a bit more of a warm magenta/purple than an electric purple (as shown here), but it is every bit that intense. I have green eyes, and they looked so beautiful and glittery with this color on that my eye color actually overpowered the purple. That is exactly what a good color SHOULD do!

Can you use the hydrating mineral veil without this brush?
I don't have this brush but got some hydrating mineral veil. I am not sure it will work right without this special brush.
Supposedly anything other than the brush designed for it is too rough to use with this product, and will in some way damage the product and prevent it from hydrating. I'm a little skeptical, but the brush designed for this product is incredibly soft and perfect for all mineral veils. I'd say it's worth picking up, just to be safe.

I received a tube I loved in a beginner package and now I can't tell what the color is. It had just a little peachy pink color and had the sponge
It had the sponge applicator that I prefer. Can you help me determine the color. Thanks
If it was in the Get Started: Eyes Cheeks Lips kit, it was probably Sugar (if you had the light to medium kit). It may have been Ginger, but that's more of a red tone.

Is this a full size handy buki?
I wanted to know what if this is the same size as the regular handy buki brush? Thanks!
Indeed it is. From what I've noticed, if you see a brush on sale it usually just has a different color or is paired with another brush or has a retractable handle, etc - basically, the details are a little bit different but the actual BRUSH part is the same. I think the sale buki and regular buki are identical; in this case, BE is just being really sweet and allowing broke college students like me to pick up this brush at a good price. =)

What is the size? What is it made of?
I am looking for travel bags for my cosmetics. I can't tell if all would fit.
I have this bag and love it. I don't know the exact dimensions, but there are 4 large plastic pockets and the outer material is very lightweight. In one pocket I can fit two large foundations and mineral veil, in another I fit 4 small face colors, 2 small blushes and well-rested, in another I have 2 large liner shadows and a liner-shadow case of 4, and in the other I fit all 20 or so of my eyeshadowse, and in the center pocket I fit all 10 of my brushes. I still have room to spare in every pocket. In other words, unless you are a makeup artist or serious glam girl, it should be perfect.

Black and White Eyecolor - Drama
Black and White Eyecolor - Drama

Matte shade like Drama?
I love drama! (The eyecolor that is ;) But sometimes I don't need sparkle. Anyone know of a matte color like it?
Okay, so it is not exactly the matte equivalent to Drama, but You Can Never Be Too Rich is a cool matte brown that I frequently wear with Drama. I'm not the biggest fan of browns in general, but this one goes very nicely with grays and can be layered/mixed with grays. Also, Drama has a lot of brown undertones; much of the blue-gray look comes from its sparkle. Hope this helps!
