This cleanser is so soft and creamy! It gives just the right amount of gentle exfoliation without irritating your skin. There is a learning curve with learning how to use the product. I found that if you pour a quarter size amount in your wet palm, add just a little water and mix it with your fingers, it becomes a nice frothy texture. I then rub it between my two hands and glide it all over my face in circular motions, taking the time to enjoy the soft texture and the clean feeling my face is experiencing. As you rinse it off, you can feel your skin glow. I was amazed when I looked in the mirror and saw my face. It takes off all the makeup from that day. I still need a little lotion to remove some of my eyemakeup, but this product is gentle enought to remove eye makeup too! Buy it...you know you want to :)

Bareminerals products are amazing if you take the time to follow instructions for correct application. I now understand some of the negative reviews I have read about the product because obviously the reviewer failed to apply the makeup properly. It is important to build coverage in thin layers. I rubbed my face against my husband's white shirt shortly after I finished my makeup. I immediately realized what I had done but his shirt was clean when I began looking for the stain! My face has been clearer, softer, and more glowing since I've been using these products. There is a little of an itch the first couple of applications, but it goes away after a few days. Just please be sure to follow the instructions and feel free to experiment a little for what works best for you.

Since I have very dry skin is the combination going to work for my face?
I indicated my skin is very dry and need a moisturizer for my skin type not comboination
This product is gentle enough that it should work on your face. It does not remove any moisture from your face, it just cleans your skin very nicely. It may help improve your dryness by removing some of the dead skin cells. Once you have taken the time to experience this product and gently patted your face dry, I think that your moisturizer should be even more effective since it will have a better chance of absorbing into your skin instead of laying on top of dead skin cells and other gunk that other more abrasive and less gentle cleansers tend to leave behind.

Maybe I'm not using this right but...
I have ALL the bareMinerals skin care products (and I do mean ALL of them!) but I can't seem to get the hang of this one. Maybe I am using too much water but I don't feel ANY exfoliation going on here. Can anyone tell me what THEY do to FEEL results? Thanks!
Use just enough water to make the powder frothy. If you use too little water at first, you can always add a little more. The exfoliation this product give is very gentle. Because the powder is so fine, you barely feel it removing your dead skin, makeup, and general grossness from your face. It is gentle and therefore less aggitating to your skin. It is not supposed to feel abrasive. Be sure to use circular motions and let the product hang out for a few seconds on your face. You may not be able to feel it, but you can definately tell the difference after using it a few times :)
