Whether it's the tube version or the click / stick version, I will never be without this product. My face has the oily "T-Zone" which makes my eyelids oily and I have battled the eyeshadow creases for years. When I started using BE products 2 years ago, this was one of the first things I tried and I am STILL in awe of this product! Eyeshadow stays put all day beautifully! Please treat yourself and give this product a try!

Let me start by saying that I am in my 50s and hated every lipstick I ever tried as they all dried out my lips...even the expensive ones. I have been using BE products for 2 years now and once I tried BE lipstick, I was reformed! I LOVE this lipstick....it does not dry out my lips and it lasts so long! It is so creamy and doesn't feel icky or heavy on my lips. I will never wear any other lipstick but BE!

is product appropriate for the mature woman?
I'm in my mid 60s and do not want to use anything that would accentuate my aging skin.
Would really appreciate a list of age appropriate products for aging skin type. I am not seeing reviews by women in my age group (over 55), so I am thinking it might not be an appropriate product line for me. Thanks

I am 53....not quite over 55 but close...and I love the BE products. It's hard to find anything that doesn't settle into aging skin (oh those darn wrinkles!) but I find that by lightly brushing the mineral BE products on my face, I don't have that problem. The eyelid primer is smooth and pretty much disappears into the skin so that the eyeshadow is all you see. I use a little bit of all the BE products from cleansers to moisturizing (although I have oily skin), primers, eyeshadow, foundation, eyeshadows, etc etc and I have never found a product line I loved like I do this one. I have been using it for 2 years now and I will continue to do so! Hope this helps you a bit. You might do what I did at first....I live near Dallas, TX so went to the BE store in Dallas and got a makeover to see how I felt about the products first. Then I ordered one of the "starter" kits and over time tried more products as I loved what I had used and now I'm fully immersed! BE has a few stores throughout the country and if you live near one, I urge you to go in for a makeover. You've got nothing to lose and better skin to gain!

Why would I need to use this if I'm already using the eyecolor from bare essencials?
Do you apply this product before using the eyecolor or do you use this product in place of the eyecolor? I'm a little confused about the wholr prime time eyelid primer situation.
Lynda: It may be that you don't need the BE eyelid primer before applying your BE eyeshadow. The primer is something you put on first and then the eyeshadow over it. This is like painting a wall in your house kinda....put the primer on first and then the color and the primer helps the color to stick better and look better. The reason I use this wonderful primer is because my forehead and nose are both oily which makes my eyelids a bit oily as the day wears on. This causes my eyeshadow to start building up in the crease of my eyelid basically disappearing from the rest of the lid (I hope that made sense!). The primer keeps the oil from affecting the eyeshadow so that it stays put all day and looks just as good at 8:00PM as it did at 8:00AM and I don't have to touch it up throughout the day. I LOVE this product! It saves me time (no touch ups) and helps me look good all day long!
