Here's a tip for the High Shine...

Pros: very pretty, smokey eye made simple, don't let the shine or fallout scare you, versatile
I bought the High Shine in Moonstone about a year ago because I LOVE using shades of purple to bring out my green eyes. I also got a few other shades in other kits, so I have gotten used to applying it, and have found ways to minimize fallout, but I will get to that in a minute. On to the review...
MINI PRIME TIME EYELID PRIMER: This is the original Prime Time, just in a mini tube. I kinda wish that it would have been full size (especially since the Rock Star is in a "petite" pot and the mascara is a mini as well) but the mini tubes are great for when you travel, whether it's for a week away or a weekend escape. I have always loved this primer, and it's got a permanent spot in my regular makeup lineup!
HIGH SHINE EYECOLOR in LUSTER: I was a little nervous about this color. I love a smoky eye look, but I create my smoky eye with plums and lavenders usually. I only do silvery or black and grey smoky eyes once in a while, so I wasn't sure if this was a shade that I could work with. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty it is! It's got this interesting combination of a silvery chrome base shade with flecks of pale gold that kind of gives an iridescence to it. I tried layering it over the other primers and here are a few tips: If you want to bring out the golden tones of this shade, layer it over the Prime Time Eyelid Primer in either Brightening or Brightening Sunlight; layer it over one of the Prime Time Primer Shadows that has peach or gold in it, like the Golden Peach or Sundance. If you want to deepen the overall color or emphasize the silvery chrome tones, try the Prime Time Primer Shadows in Dove Grey or Gun Metal.
Now as for the fallout issue, here are the steps I take to minimize the fallout: First, I make sure that I twist the sponge tip as I remove it from the tube, and scrape the sides coming out. Then I tap a little of the product into an empty lid. (I keep meaning to transfer my High Shines to empty pots so I can skip the sponge tip altogether, but I never remember until I want to use them and I have no time to stop and do it LOL). I apply it with an eye brush, like the Tapered Eye or the Wet/Dry eye brush. And finally, I love to foil the High Shines. I think they have a better texture when foiled, they stay put longer, and you have more control over the depth of color when you foil them.
PETITE ROCK STAR EYECOLOR: This was one of the main reasons I bought this kit! I was first introduced to this color in the Rocker Eye Tutorial, and fell in love with it. By the time I started running low and went to order another kit, it had been discontinued. At first appearance it looks shockingly glittery, but it's not too bad. Again, if you foil it with a little more water it is really a sheer wash of shimmer. If you foil it with less water so it's more paste-like, it makes a great silver liner for special occasions.
MINI FLAWLESS DEFINITION VOLUMIZING MASCARA: This is my favorite BE mascara so far. It has a traditional wand tip and really makes my lashes look full and long and lush!
I bought this kit because I was familiar with 3 of the 4 products included, and loved those products, so I figured even if the High Shine shade was a bust it was still a great value. But I love the High Shine shade, so it's perfect!

Mixed feelings

Pros: brush is amazing, prefer the original, irritated my skin, very fine powder
I got a pot of this in the Siren of the Sea collection, and was so excited to try it. I wanted to love it, as I want when I get all my BE products, but I have mixed feelings on this one.
This version of the MV is a SUPER fine powder. It's very easy to tap out too much product and have it fly all over the place. It goes on super sheer (which I love) but I did not notice a "cooling" sensation. Initially I loved how it looked on my skin. Unfortunately, it irritated my super sensitive skin and I can't use it.
HOWEVER...
The brush is simply amazing! The brush is so soft, and I use it every day with my regular MV because it makes applying MV a breeze. When I saw the brush as a stand alone item that could be ordered without the Hydrating Veil, I snapped one up because I loved the brush so much! (The double ended Hydrating Brush that came in the siren kit had a smaller head, but I liked it so much I had to buy the full head brush when I saw it.)
If I had not been allergic to this MV I would have given it 5 hearts. It really is a great product for those who don't have a problem with skin allergies. But if you have UBER sensitive skin like mine (I have to use the Matte foundation because I am allergic to the Original), then you might want to pass on this veil. I highly recommend buying the brush separately though, because it is the best one I have used for applying veil...EVER!!!

Pros: soft, delicate, feminine
I got this in my first Eye Club set, and I fell in love with it. I used it a lot with my BE Girlfriends kit to go over the light pink matte shade in that collection, and it gave just the right amount of pop without going overboard. This shade is perfect!

I love to use this color when I do a more dramatic smoky grey or plum eye for going out at night. During the day I pair it with a matte color in my crease so I don't have too much sparkle going on.

Pros: soft, fun, flirty
This shade really made my eyes pop, and made the other colors really stand out. So far I like it best with plums and greens, but I'm sure it works well with just about any color. It is soft enough for subtle color in the summer, and cool enough for winter looks too. I could easily wear this everyday, if I didn't have so many eye colors to choose from!

If you want a very understated, natural eye look, sweep Soft Focus Pure from lash to brow, and then sweep Soft Focus Realize into the crease for subtle definition. So very pretty and lasts all day!

Another soft, feminine color in a formula that is good for women of all ages. When I want to pump up the color of Pure, I will tap a little of one of the Radiances (like Tropical, Clear, or Pure) and mix it in the lid with this color for a subtle shimmer.

Pros: perfect, flawless, go to shade
If you have fair skin with pink/blue (cool) undertones, this is the perfect shade for you!
I have used this as an all over base color when creating a smoky eye, when doing a natural eye, when doing a vibrant and shimmery springtime eye. It is so versatile you just cannot go wrong with it!!! Definitely one of my all time favorites!!!

Questions

Maybe I'm not using this right but...
I have ALL the bareMinerals skin care products (and I do mean ALL of them!) but I can't seem to get the hang of this one. Maybe I am using too much water but I don't feel ANY exfoliation going on here. Can anyone tell me what THEY do to FEEL results? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a COMPLETE regimen for my ultra sensitive comination skin...
I want to know what order to apply the new skincare line. I know the face Rev-ver Upper should be applied BEFORE the moisturizer, but I was wondering about the treatment products like the Firming Eye treatment and so on. Basically can anyone recommend a COMPLETE regimen for morning and night time that includes ALL the products in the new Rare Minerals line (I have purchased all but the Completely Nourishing Moisturizer for Dry Skin, as I have combination skin and received a deluxe sample of this in my last order)? Thanks!

I adore this eyecolor, but is there an eyecolor similar to celestine that offers a sheen rather than glimmer?
glimmer on the inside, sheen on the outside :)
You can mix Celestine with Clay and get a more subdued sheen without losing the unique color of the Celestine.

Is there a matte equivalent to celestine?
Thank you soooooo much! :)
I don't know if there is a matte equivalent, but if you mix it with a matte color like Clay, you get a close match with just a little sheen.

Are any of these colors close to high shine sand dune?
I love that color!! And it's not sold individually. I have purchased the siren of the sea kit 2 times now and I can't bring myself to do it again. I only use the lip gloss and high shine sand dune from that kit. All the others colors don't quite work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? HSSD is my fave.

Thanks!!
You might want to try Glisten or Bronzed. Maybe even combine the two because I think HSSD is kind of in between the two...

Do I use this or the Skin Rev-er Upper?
Which product do you think would work best for me? I have combo skin w/breakouts during that time of the month along my chin. Do I just use one of these products or can they be used together?
I start by cleansing my face. Then I apply the Rev-er Upper before my moisturizer. Next I moisturize, and follow that with the Prime Time. It really evens out my complexion and makes my skin look flawless!

Can somebody tell me how to use these? I want to know detailed process of applying it.
Jut to tell, my skin has fair complexion and is very sensitive to chemical based cosmetic
First you cleanse. Follow that with the Skin Rev-er Upper. Next you moisturize. After your moisturizer has absorbed into your skin, squeeze a pea sized drop od Prime Time onto the back of your hand. Using your ring finger on the other hand, dip into the Prime Time and swipe it across your face, one swipe for your forehead, each cheek, down the center of your nose, and across your chin. Now, using your fingertips in circular motions, spread the primer all over your face. Yes, that little pea sized drop is really all you need!

Lotion Underneath?
I have combination skin and love the feeling and effects of prime time, but my skin still needs some moisturizing (especially in the winter) along with prime time - If I put lotion on first, and then the prime time, will it block the prime time from being able to fully penetrate my skin and limit its full benefits?
Or should I switch to the Skin Rever-Upper instead of Prime Time, since it is also moisturizing?
I have combination skin that does get dry-ish in the winter. Here is what I use:

1. Cleanse with the Purifying Facial Cleanser or the Deep Cleansing Foam.
2. Apply Skin Rev-er Upper and let it absorb. (While it's absorbing I apply the Eye and Lip Rev-er Uppers)
3. Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for Combination skin.
4. Prime Time Skin Primer
5. Prime Time for Eyes.

I also very lightly dust the MV on before my foundation to make sure I have the smoothest surface possible for my foundation.

Moisturizer?
Do most of you wear a moisturizer under Prime Time original? Or does Prime Time also moisturize your skin?
It is important to wear them both so that you have the smoothest, healthiest "palette" to work with.

do I use the prime time foundation primer under my eyes?
should i use this product under my eyes?
You can. I apply it all over, making sure I spread it evenly over all areas of my face. Then I use the Prime Time for Eyes over my lid, from lash to brow. If I have dark circles that I need to cover, I apply it on the under eye area too. Also if you use the eye primer on your lashes, they will look fuller when you apply mascara!
