I often don't have a lot of time in the morning, so I thought that this would be a quicker and more convenient way to get beautiful eye-looks. Unfortunately, the darks seemed overly dark, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if only the lights held their own better... I also found the colors really hard to control: they seemed to not want to budge at all after I had done the initial sweep of color. So not only was the crease color all you saw, but it was streaky like I had been trying to use a marker. This also is what makes it long lasting, though, so if you're better at applying it than this might be a positive for you. And if you use primer and brushes that aren't included in the kit, then the results are a lot better, but the reason I bought it was because I thought it would be "READY" all on it's own. This ended up being the first BE product that I ever returned, so I thought that I should give you a fair warning: make sure that you're comfortable with the application before you buy it.

I wanted to try this solely for the fact that it's periwinkle... And I have to say that it's both a disappointment and a relief that the color goes on reeeeeally sheerly... I suppose I should be thankful that it doesn't actually turn my lips periwinkle, but it might have been kind of interesting. In the long run, it just makes you look a bit like your cold... but if you wear cooler colors, then it looks perfectly normal. Just a soft shimmer. I definitely would not try wearing it with warmer colors, because then that would just look strange...

This is my favorite kit of all time and I'm going to buy it again for when I run out! I wear this kit every day because the King eyecolor is an absolutely stunning, but subtle gold with peach and I always get compliments when I wear it! Beignet is my favorite lip gloss because it adds that shimmer that is just gorgeous and compliments the gold eyeshadow, without being gold! It really is a casual and subtle beauty that exemplifies everything that bare escentuals stands for! So what are you waiting for? Get it before it disappears again!

This product does exactly what it says it will do: it removes make up. I use it for when I try out a color on my hand and can't seem to get it off with just water and I'm in a hurry or for when I smudge my mascara and eyeliner under my eye.
This is something weird I noticed as well: if you don't wait for it to dry and put eyecolor on it (dry with a dry brush) it's look foiled. Actually, probably better foiled than if I had actually tried to foil it. And it stays really well. Anyway, that was just something random I noticed...

I felt that the colors needed a little clarification because the image is pretty bad... The top one that looks super red is closer to a kind of rust color... brownish reddish with some shimmer. The second one is pale. REALLY pale. I can't see it at all... And the bottom one is my favorite of the kit: a sparkle shimmer greenish brownish. The mascara has a whole bunch of little grooves that create rings along the last part of the applicator. The key to go slowly and deliberately to prevent clumps! (It even gives instructions on the mascara box on how to use it correctly) It's nice, but I like the flawless definition mascara more. If you want to try the mascara though, you should definitely get this kit because it's a dollar and a half cheaper than buying the mascara solely by itself. (crazy, I know)
So this was a five heart because I loved two of the colors and was able to try out the mascara for a great price!

This came today and I was so stoked when I saw the shiny gold box~! And when I opened it, there were my lovely golds and the brush! The box also has a mirror built in! The colors are the petite size, so you can get a feel for the size of the brush. The brush was actually the only thing that I was mildly dissapointed in. It's kind of stiff and doesn't blend very well... It's the brush to go to if you want your colors to come out strong and bold, though!
In order of which I liked the least to the most:
#4 The gold eyeshadow. This was weird because the gold eyeshadow was the only sure-fire one that I knew I would like, but it turned out to be a lot more orangey than expected. :( Still supper glittery and pretty, but it was too strong for the rest of the colors... (imo) But I'm sure I'll be able to find something pretty for it to go with! It would be such a waste to just let it sit in its glitzy box...
#3 The rose eyeshadow. It's a pretty corally color, but it just wasn't anything that special to me. That might change as I use the kit more, but for now it's a pretty color, but not over the top gorgeous.
Speaking of over the top gorgeous... #2 the black eyeliner. I felt like I was looking at the starry night sky when I saw it! Or perhaps the flakes of gold in stone! It's super glamorous and has tons of sparkle (though, I haven't actually worn it yet...^^;)
And last but certainly not least: #1 the white gold eyecolor. It is just amazing. It has this beautiful iridescent quality to it that makes you feel like you are swathed in riches. Like a pure silk that you can place on your eyes. Soft and shimmery and just the wow factor of this kit!

Be careful when you apply it because it really makes a difference if it's more heavily applied in one area versus another. The darkness makes it a great color for if you want a little drama, though.

The color is very dark raspberry with a kind of gold shine to it (that might be my lighting though).
In any case, this is definitely not an everyday kind of color! (You have been warned)

I like pretty much everything in the kit, but I'm not really sure if I liked how they looked all together. The teal eyeliner doesn't really go with the really dark and smoky plum because it's so bright and ends up looking like a bright green and drawing way too much attention. I like the color by itself though.
Light show is a very pretty pale sheen that is almost too bright with the purple and overpowers it.
The purple is a really dark lavender smoke that ends up as a pretty subtle color (a little too subtle). The only thing that registers is that there's a darkness in the crease, but the color gets lost.
The blush is a really pretty pink that I like a lot and looks like I just was laughing. Which, admittedly, probably wasn't what they were going for with this look.
The lipgloss is probably my favorite part of the entire kit. It's bright pink with these pretty magenta undertones and goes on as a kind of dark strawberry glaze? Hot pink without the neon? In any case its really cute and gives my lips a nice color without it being to dramatized.
So basically, everything in this kit is really good with maybe the purple eyecolor as the exception. Although, depending on the look, I'm sure it could probably look really pretty, just not with this look. So when buying this kit, don't expect to be getting a full look, but a collection of colors to spice up other looks.

Oh my gosh! I was so psyched when it came today! It is suuuuuuuuuuuuper pretty! The handle is this translucent pink and I just LOVE it! The bristles are soooo silky soft and I just love the way it feels~
If you enjoy the soft focus eyeshadow brush then this is definitely a good call!

I bought this in the store a couple days ago and tried it yesterday, and all I can say is that it's awesome! Really bold with tons of shine! It's the same effect as foiling without having to mess with trying to figure out how much water to use with how much eyeshadow! You just put a little dab on and blend it onto your eyelid! I'm not sure how they managed to do it, but when you blend it into the crease it darkens and really makes it look like a complete look! And all in about a minute or less!
Gunmetal is super pretty and is like a soft silvery blue! I wore it with a black shirt, which I thought would clash, but I couldn't wait to try it, so I put it on anyway, and it didn't clash at all! The color was clear and bold, but didn't compete with my outfit and looked amazing! You don't need a lot of the primer at all to get that really vibrant color either! This will probably be my new go to eye color when I need some extra sparkle!
The only downside is that, as a primer, it didn't really work that well... I tried a kind of blue on top and I could hardly tell that it was there at all... but for how quick, easy, and pretty it is this is definitely worth it.

Well, based on the description, I think that the the stick is like sand paper, which grabs onto your lashes to disperse the color. You can look up the product (it comes separately), which has a picture of the applicator. HTH
