Pros: perfect skin tone match, effortless, 5 minute coverage
I initially began using this foundation in 2007. Though I really loved the coverage and ease of use, I found myself unable to wear it due to itching. I did some research and rejoined the club after discovering that it might have been due to a bismuth allergy, and the new Matte formula doesn't contain that ingredient. I received my starter package, and intended to give the jars containing bismuth to my sister. But because the coverage is THAT good, I couldn't help myself from wanting to wear it. So, I very cautiously applied as thin an amount as I could, and I waited. Normally within ten minutes, my face would have begun to burn. But after over an hour, I've had no reaction at all. Like I said, I did some research. And I read that certain materials in brushes could also cause an allergy. I'm not sure if it was my brushes, if B.E. changed something in their formula, or if my skin just simply self-adjusted (I read that this has been the case for others as well), but I'm in love all over again! If you've had a reaction to this product in the past, give it another try. One more thing, I've heard some women have had a difficult time concerning coverage of acne scars. I have them, too. My solution is to use a shade darker on them (i.e., I use fair, but fairly light on the scars). It goes against everything we've ever learned about applying liquid and stick concealers, but then again, this is no ordinary makeup.

Pros: wow, defines, no clumps!
Wow! I am truly surprised by this product. I'm very picky about mascara, and I hate the "tarantula eyes" look that can result. When I first saw this stuff, I really didn't think I'd like it because the brush seemed too...thin? I received a free tube of this in an enrollment package and thought why not give it a try. I'm really glad I did! One coat did the trick, and though I noticed my lashes were darker, they didn't look like I was wearing anything on them. It's as close to natural as I ever got. Also, my daughter has incredibly long, thick lashes that look like falsies when she wears any type of mascara. I tried this on her and again, the results were beautiful! If you're thinking about it, just try it. You won't be disappointed!

Pros: a-mazing!
When I first began using BE, I skipped over this product, thinking I could "live without it". What a mistake! This is a makeup miracle in a bottle. One pump covers my face. And I have notoriously dry skin, that tends to make my makeup look powdery, making me look older than I am. But this stuff is awesome. I'm 32 years old, and since I began using this product, I've been happily mistaken for someone in the 18-21 crowd! Even if you don't use the foundation, or any foundation at all, I highly recommend you buy this product. You'll be so glad you did!

My skin is very fair. My daughter bought me a starter kit and I have been using "light" but I don't think its the right color
I think I might be better with fair or golden fair. Not sure which one I should choose. Also I have been using "beauty" blush but I think it is too dark and not right. I want something wth a more natural look. Which blush would be best for me?
Thanks
Rosanne

I have super fair skin myself, and I've never been able to find a color match from any other product (and I've tried them all!). Even tinted moisturizers weren't quite right for me. I was concerned that even B.E.'s shade of fair would be too dark, but it's spot on. I also don't tan, and I burn really easily. Try the fair and/or fairly light shades. You can also mix two shades together to create a more personalized color. I'm still figuring out a blush shade myself, but I have tried Clear Radiance All Over face Color, and love it as a blush!

A rejuvenating foundation primer that exfoliates and clarifies.

will this minimize your pores?
i have large pores and they REALLY get on my nerves,, so im looking for a prime that will help minimize them.
Absolutely! Prime Time literally makes your skin feel like a baby's. It gives a satin finish that helps the foundation glide on more easily and completely, as well as make it wear longer. I'm 32 with dry, fair skin and I swear by this stuff. It's the closest way you can get to a "magazine" complexion.

About 2 hours after a Bare Escentuals make-up application at a local salon, you could see all the pores on my face open.
Looking closely in the mirror it was disgusting looking if someone was looking at me that close. The stylist used the Rev-er Upper as the cream under the Foundation and Eye Shadows. What caused this look? Will it happen every time I apply the Bare Escentuals make-up I purchased. If so, I am not a happy customer for the money I have spent on natural prodcuts. Please reply, thank you.
The stylist's application may have been the issue. Prime Time works best for minimizing your pores. If you use the Skin Rev-er Upper under the foundation, make sure it dries completely before applying anything else over it. That may have been the issue with the stylist at the salon. Prime Time will create a satin-like finish to your skin, making the foundation easier to apply and also more comfortable to wear. You can also try a bit of Mineral Veil as a base before applying the foundation. If your skin is like mine, I recommend the Hydrating Veil.

Do I use this or the Skin Rev-er Upper?
Which product do you think would work best for me? I have combo skin w/breakouts during that time of the month along my chin. Do I just use one of these products or can they be used together?
I use Prime Time under my foundation (and sometimes just on it's own because I love the texture of my skin when I'm wearing it). I also use the Skin Rev-er Upper as a light moisturizer. I find it works best if you apply it right out of the shower or immediately after washing your face. Give the Rev-er Upper time to soak into your skin and dry thoroughly before applying foundation.
