Hot shot is the perfect pink.

Makes my lips look like a child's pigmented pink lips. The color looks quite bright and a little scarey, but it goes on sheer. Applicator applies the perfect amount evenly. Love this gloss. Ive noticed a decline in the performance of my bux0m since selling, so happy to have an alternative.

I decided to try it out after reading a review about a cool toned person loving this set. It didn't work for me. There is nothing wrong with this set (thus 5 stars), I simply cannot wear warm tones easily. By the way, how great is it that bare minerals did a set of cool and warm tones. Please continue to do cool and warm lip sets. If you have a neutral or warm skin tone, this will be great on you. If you are cool and do not have a lot of redness in your skin, or if you do not mind doing some serious covering up of redness, this set will likely work for you. If you are cool toned and want to try it, be sure to neutralize all redness in your skin (with either a yellow based foundation or concealer or neutral foundation and/or concealer) otherwise the warm tones will clash and make you look more pink than you already did. The lip gloss smells like cinnamon (no burning), vanilla, nutmeg, and tastes good (but not so good you are eating it). It has a slight tingling smooth semi-thick feel on the lips. For a comparison Id describe buxom as a sweet vanilla scent, but it tastes like a menthol based vapor rub, tingly, thick, and pretty sticky. If you find ALL lip gloss sticky, marvelous moxie will not be an exception. Onto the colors. Maverick is a medium rosy brown, one of the few I liked. Crowd surfer is a light pink, has a slight yellow undertone to it, I can wear this one as long as Ive got tinted moisturizer or a light foundation on. Smooth talker is a light pink with lots of gold shimmer, looks gold on my lips, terrible on me. Fire cracker is a red with a very slight warm tone (at least on me), very sheer and wearable, I can wear this one as long as Im wearing foundation and concealer on my chin and sides of my nose. Smarty pants is a pale champagne, doesn't work on me. Dreamer is a light golden bronze shade (very light bronze), also doesn't work on me.

I love this gloss, dare I say...more than buxom.

Marvelous moxie has a far more subtle tingle than buxom, tingles a little bit. It is not as sticky as buxom, more smooth with a little stickiness. I find the wear time similar. Marvelous moxie smells like cinnamon (but doesn't burn), nutmeg, and a little vanilla. I love the smell and taste. Buxom tastes like a menthol vapor rub to me (but smells good). I put this on before bed and I wake up with full, soft, hydrated lips. It lasts all night on me. I like that bare minerals came up with two marvelous moxie lip kits and I hope they do the same in the future; one has cooler shades (this set) and the other has warmer shades. Ive got very pale very pink skin, cool undertones, and I cannot pull off warm lip colors (not without trying). I appreciate that I am buying a whole kit of lip gloss shades that look good on me, on my cool skin tone. Usually kits have a mix of tones and I never use the warmer shades, which is a waste. If you look good in warm shades, there is a warm kit. If you look good in cool shades, there is a cool kit. My color descriptions are based on what they look like on the lips. Hot ticket is a sheer pop of a bright medium pink with a slight shimmer to it, bright but wearable. Daredevil is a sheer merlot wine shade with extremely subtle shimmer, again very wearable. Fashionable late is a very pale pink champagne shimmery shade (very finely milled micro glitter in this one), very nice in the center of the lips to make lips appear fuller. Socialite is a light pink shimmery shade (not too light and again very finely milled micro glitter), very soft and girly. Fashionably late and socialite are the two with the most shimmer to them. Gutsy reminds me of jet setter (qvc duo) a sheer berry with very subtle shimmer. Rebel is a great every day, goes with everything, naked pink lip with no shimmer (as far as I can tell). I love all every shade. I hope to see hot ticket, fashionably late, socialite, and gutsy (jet setter) in full size available for separate purchase.

The pans are smaller than the 4.0s, but you do not need much (lightly set/tap brush into pan), and the color selection is worth it. The actual size of the case is perfect for travel, about 1&1/2 4.0s. Even though I suspect it would travel nice, I won't travel on an airplane with anything I care about. Id take it on a road trip, train, or cruise. The online picture of this doesn't do the palette shades justice. They are far more vibrant in person. FYI the palette is missing a matte brow bone highlight and a matte crease blending shade (no big deal for me). Color applies true. I love the little double ended brush. Often I do not like included brushes, but I like this one. VIP is a matte black base with golden and copper very finely milled micro glitter. I do not notice the micro-glitter unless I use it wet or really pack it on. Connoisseur is a really neat brassy bronze shade, it has shimmer. Carte blanche is a pearl shade that has a sheen to it once on the skin. Ritsy is a milk chocolate shimmer shade. Kudos is a pale taupe sheen. Bragging rights is a rosy copper metallic shade. Elitist is a sage green shimmer. Extravagance is a warm yellow gold sheen, borders metallic if packed on or applied wet.

I finally bought a ready palette and I am in love.

I bought the truth palette. Colors will suit a variety of skin tones and eye colors. Really nice everyday palette. Easy, no thinking necessary, when I have five minutes for my eyes in the morning. I find (the shades in this palette) go on beautifully. Nice pigmentation, so a little goes a long way. Nice and almost creamy, so minimal fallout. They blend beautifully. If you have issues with blending; only use the tip of your brush, do not press rather use a very light gentle stroke, still streaking try using a matte skin tone shade all over your lid before applying these. I do not need to use primer when I wear these eye shadows. I have oily eye lids and they last me all day, which is a first ever. I was nervous to try these new ready shadows, Ive been using be since they started doing infomercials (I was just getting into makeup so my mom would order it for me). My expectations were very high, and they were met. How often can you say that?

After two uses Im a streaky disaster.

I wear fair in the foundation. I notice no one with fair foundations writes reviews on the faux tan collection. One use gives me a very subtle, very subtle, bit of warmth and color to my skin. No streaks after one use. I decided to use it again the next night. When I woke up I was a streaky mess. Waited about a week to start all over again, same thing. Waited a week and tried using a little and really rubbing it in good, tried using quite a bit and not rubbing it in very good. I tried everything I could think of to get this to work for me. It never did. I like the regular faux tan, so I thought Id like this too. It is good for winter if you live up north and do not want to use the full on faux tan, for fear of looking way too tan in winter. It is also nice is you want something subtle. I wound up giving this to my mom who has medium beige skin tone, she quite likes it and it does not get streaky on her. I should also probably note that this broke my back out, broke my face out, and was not very moisturizing.

Seriously, no other gloss even comes close. I do not even buy other glosses, just buxom. Naturally I have almost all the shades that will work for me in the regular line-up. Love to see new seasonal colors. This one looks, wow florescent pink. I thought no way. A sales clerk insist I try it on. Glad I did. It is sheer so very wearable. It is on trend, but not in a way that is screaming hot pink lips. It is a slight pop of hot pink. Does beautiful things to the lips. Love this color. Keep it in the line-up. I will buy it when I run out.

I do not think it curls though. I prefer the volumizing mascara from be. This one does not give me any volume. If I first use the flawless definition, then the volumizing, then this one I love my lashes. owever, that is too much work. I can get that effect with one mascara, buxom.

I bought all of these when they came out. I figured I love be eye primers and love be shadows. No brainer right? Wrong! They are very sheer. I wear fair and if I apply with my finger they hardly show up. I have to use a brush to get a decent amount of color. I use the wet/dry shadow brush, but it eats liquid products. I think most brushes eat liquid products. I think this is a nice base color for tan skin. Good every day color. If you are not looking for a very sheer natural look, you might want to try these in a store before buying. I like the colors when you get enough of them on. Takes a good amount of product to get there though. On top of all of that, the tubes are very small. I even had a tube that was only half full of product. The other half was air. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to be. This one was a quarter full of air. These are too expensive to be full of air. I will not buy again until the tubes are bigger with more product that is better pigmented.

Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish - Dolly
You'll know it's working when a tingly, cooling sensation rushes over you.
I normally wear Dolly. Any ideas for another shade I may like?
I wear the fair foundation and have cool undertones. I do not look good in nudes, they wash me out. Not a huge fan of browns or peaches either. Any suggestions in the pink, lilac, plum, or red family? Buxom polish, buxom full color, or natural gloss. Thank you for any suggestions.

Looking for a lip gloss that does not contain chemicals. But I like the color options in the Moxie Lipgloss product and I'm hoping it is all natural. Please let me know.
Everything contains chemicals, everything, including your body. What you want to ask is, 'does this product contain any potentially harmful ingredients or harmful chemicals'. The answer is no, I do not see anything that would make me discontinue usage.

Sufficiency as a Sunscreen
I've read that Titanium Dioxide on it's own isn't sufficient for UVA. (That it doesn't block UVA1.) Is there anything coming out with this product to bulk up for the full UVA spectrum? I LOVE Bare Minerals and I'm going to use this version for face, arms, etc. But I had a bad contact burn as a youth and I've been told to protect the area against all UV rays.
You should use something that protects against all always on your entire body. This doesn't.

How does this compare to Urban Decay primer potion?
Is this all natural ingredients?
I like prefer it to UD. I get creasing after about a few hours with UD, with this one I do not get creasing until about 7 hours. Ive got very oily lids though. Id describe it as not as slippery as UD, not as liquidy as UD, but it isn't dry looking either. I think eye shadow primer preference depends at least a little on skin type. I like UD under my eyes, but not on my lid. If you've got super super oily lids (oily within ten-fifteen minutes of washing face then try n@rs (@=a) shadow primer.

Both BE eye creams say to use twice a day, but they don't say how to use both, or if you should use both--please elaborate!!
Id use the thinner one first. So the firming first then the moisturizing.

Is this retractable eyeliner or one that you sharpen? It does not say in the description and I was confused by some of the reviews.
I'm asking about the Big & Bright Eyeliner.
Big and bright is retractable, but there is a mini tool on the end for which you can sharpen the liner stick that comes up. It is awesome and works on all retractable liners of about the same size. Worth the purchase alone. In other words, it is retractable (twists up and down), but the liner that twists up can be sharpened with the mini tool. You can find the tool on the opposite end of the liner. The butt end comes off, on one side is a smudger the other side is a tiny sharpener (you have to get the little (almost a) cap off of the tiny sharpener. Try to find a video on youtube. That may be more helpful. Just type in bare minerals big and bright eye liner.

Will this keep liners in place?
I have problems with very oily eye lids and have a problem with liners running and disappearing by mid day. Will this keep liners in place?
Eye shadow primer will help. If you line your lower lash line, use some there too. Look for stuff with words like long wear and water proof. Ive had great luck with BB (high end brand womans name female makeup artist created brand) gel liners. Gentle and they hold up on my oily lids. If you use powder try something like fix plus instead of water. t@rtE makes liners that last a long time, unfortunately they all look the same once on the lid save black and bronze/brown. I find UD stays true to color and lasts, but sadly something in them really irritates my eyes (if you do not have sensitive watery eyes you may want to try them). Try different kinds/brands of liners. With holidays coming up, no better time with all the high end sets.

I just bought this set and love the colors, but I wonder what happens when I run out of a shade.
Not refillable. My suggestion if you are obsessed with a color, in love with it, go to a beauty store with the palette and look around for a similar shade or ask someone who works there what is close.

wrinkles and dark circles
I have dark circles and when I use the bisque it enhances my wrinkles the under eye area looks like cray paper will this help and in what order do i use this when i put on my makeup
No it wont help. It is a powder. If you have wrinkles, putting a powder over them can and often will enhance such things. Just how it is.
