How can I make older/problem skin look less old?
I'm in my mid 40s and have very few wrinkles on my face. What I do have are two big problems. I have prominent dark circles under my eyes (that I've always had, even in my 20s), and I have acne prone skin with big pores.
The texture of my skin is not smooth because of the large pores and some acne scars.. I find that the foundation seems to settle into the dark circle under my eye and also into the pores so while the color is evened out and improved, the texture is still a problem. This is how I use BE products:
1. Wash face
2. Apply moisturizer (dermalogica brand)
3. Apply oil-free Prime Time Foundation Primer
4. Bisque concealer
5. Foundation
6. Well-Rested, sometimes Flawless Radiance or Pure Radiance in select facial areas
7. Regular Mineral Veil
I use the handy buki brush to apply my foundation, the Precision Concealer Brush for the small spots where Bisque goes, the Flawless Application Brush for the Mineral Veil and the Radiances, and a couple of different brushes that came from other companies for the Well Rested. They most closely resemble the Medium and Large Concealer Brushes. I have a Full Coverage Concealer Brush that for some reason I haven't opened.
Does anyone out there have a similar problem and can you tell me if I can do anything to correct this problem? I love this makeup but it's tending to make me look older. I know that people who have small lines and wrinkles successfully use these products. What do you do?
Thank you-
