Love the way it is SUPPOSED to work

Phrases Chosen: flimsy top, good product
First, I've been purposefully purchasing the Mineral Veils with this kind of cap for a while, and the lid would typically only break at the very end of the product's use. The last two I bought had hinges that broke within 2 weeks of use. The main problem with this is that without the lid staying attached to the hinge, there is no way to fully close the cap and you cannot take this with you as it will spill out everywhere.
The product is great, and I love the idea of how the product is dispensed, but the manufacturer needs to beef up and reinforce the hinge, either through a better plastic and hinge piece or by making it function slightly differently (yes, I am an engineer).
I'm hoping to call BE and request a few spare caps since I travel a LOT and need working lids.

Worst mascara ever - totally dried out!

Phrases Chosen: worst mascara, dried out
This mascara was included in a set purchased from this site a few weeks ago. The mascara appears to be completely dried out by its first use despite the fact that I never opened it before the first use.
I usually like mascaras with the shorter, more precise brushes; too bad I could barely scrape out any actual product to use! Either it's the worst formula ever, or the handling of it was poor. Either way, this product is worthless.

Good coverage with some caveats

Phrases Chosen: good coverage, highlights dry patches, stays all day, comfortable for sensitive skin, bare linen (light neutral)
First off, I actually like this foundation better than its powder counterpart. I feel it covers my skin better (even though the sales lady said it was supposed to provide less coverage) and creates a truly even look. It conceals the redness from old blemishes very well, unlike the powder for me.
It stays all day, even if I'm running up the stairs! Just make sure to blot your sweat instead of rubbing your sweat off your face because otherwise you'll rub the foundation off. Set it with mineral veil and it's a really comfortable makeup even for my sensitive skin. Other liquid foundations would provide coverage, but would make my face dewy and sweaty after a short while. I have combination skin.
It does accentuate any dry patches, but most foundations do. I don't really have wrinkles but I suspect it may settle into those. I don't think it would set well without mineral veil either. And I believe the brush is a MUST for application; I tried putting samples of product on the back of my hand and rubbing it in with my fingers, and it was way too heavy and settled into every crease very badly, which didn't happen when I got home and used the brush on my face the next day.
Last tip: match the tone (cool, neutral or golden) with your old powder foundation. I was between porcelain and linen inside the store, and the sales lady thought porcelain looked better on my hand, but I stuck with linen because I'm a neutral tone, and it's a good match for tone, if not a tiny bit light. A bit of tinted mineral veil makes it work perfectly without making my face look too pale :)

18g
just want to make sure this product is 18g or 1.8g.
Coz the description said it is mini size.
I'm looking at the back of my compact right now (which is the same one listed) and it's 4.5g, or 0.15oz. As for the size, when holding it in my palm, it's 2.25" x 2.25" square. I don't have the standard compact as I use the loose mineral veil mostly, but I believe this is significantly smaller.
