Summertime gorgeous you!

Phrases Chosen: creamy, neutral but better, works on all skin tones, versatile, gorgeous, subtle to dramatic, day to night in your handbag!
As a Bare Minerals FAB Ambassador, and getting to try the Bare Skin foundation early, I was really excited to see the company continuing with the "Bare" story of products, and this one is perfect for Spring/Summer!!!
I love the Ready formulation of eyeshadows from Bare Minerals, and I'm usually a very neutral girl, who doesn't like to step out of my comfort zone (I wasn't even interested in "The Power Neutrals" after reviewing each color to decide if I would actually wear it). I have "The Promise" 2.0, that is a shimmer cream and a nice light matte brown, it's akin to being the 2.0 version of "The Truth" 4.0.
They are all a wonderfully creamy texture:
Pacific Sands (the lightest one) is light and matte yes, but very pretty, not at all cakey looking, none of these are.
Golden Coast is the one I thought I wouldn't wear, I thought I might try it, but when I put it on, I'm now thrilled that it's in this compact! It's the most beautiful, perfect sheen of light gold, I'm a cool tone skinned girl and it looks amazing on me! Perfect spring/summer shade and I could see it working on all skin tones, not just for summer, from the fairest skin tones to the darkest, they all are that way, just beautiful!
The Sea Glass, described as Jade, is really what I bought "The Glass Beach" for. Call out on that one, it is a matte, no sheen or shimmer, but jade is not the color of it at all. It's actually almost, the exact color of my eyes which is so cool and a wonderful surprise!
I wanted a new, nice green for the spring/summer in the Ready formulation and that's why I bought this, but this color is really a blue/gray, maybe there is a little green in there too, but I can guarantee you that you don't already have this color, and the photograph doesn't do it justice, it's like a chameleon that will look different on everybody.
Tide Pool, as a shimmering coal is really pretty. Excellent to bump them all up, to use in the crease, as your on the go eyeliner replacement or enhancer.
They all blend like a dream and will get you happily through the summer and beyond, with something beautiful and new. The compact, fingerprints, of course, but who could resist that gorgeous, lovely shade of blue!
All in all, they're the colors that will look better on you (they do on me) than they even do in the compact. And isn't that refreshing!

Phrases Chosen: drying
I was part of the group blessed to be able to try this early. I LOVE MY BE, and wanted to share that before my review of this product.
The product is very drying, settles into fine lines and wrinkles, and the side of my nose, a very odd thing. It even made me look like I had wrinkles that I don't have, especially after wearing it for a couple of days, because not only did it appear dry and cakey (more drying of the skin than a cakey finish, so it's a little hard to explain), but, it actually was drying my skin out while it was on, so that every day my skin was drier than the day before. I want to make sure and say, these results were with the best possible skin care, and that, frankly, saved my skin during use, and will help it recover. Even as I write this review, I have pimples forming/showing, and my skin is now overproducing oil to compensate from use of the Bare Skin liquid foundation.
It also does not cover well, and I don't have that much to cover. One tiny area that's a little red, just looked more pronounced and that doesn't happen with my Bare Minerals Original Foundation.
The good news. This is a truly innovative product and formulation (I do not work for the company, I just analyzed it a lot, because I really wanted to like it).
The Bare Minerals Perfecting Face Brush (sold separately) is necessary! It is amazing, synthetic bristles, and shake (shake well), drop and buffing the foundation on, is a dream application. There is nothing else like it in foundation.
Shade Matching
If you're going to order this online, trust me, go by the descriptions of each shade more so than the color photos. I tried two. Bare Cream (05) which is for the most golden light skin, and it is!!! It is VERY golden/yellow!!! The second one I tried was a much better match for me, Bare Linen (03), the "neutral" of the light family. Even the Bare Linen skews a little yellow. It's not your average neutral, at all. So when in doubt with shade matching, if you are a cool tone, don't go for Neutral. I could have easily also probably worn Bare Shell (02) the only "cool" tone in the light category of shades.
Another bonus, and a major thumbs up on the formulation is that the SPF 20 (and the product) are truly "weightless." A lot of products say that, but they're not. We've all tried moisturizers and other products with SPF, I have, one that's from a great company that also has an SPF that is also a physical block and natural. I could "feel" that product on my skin, and sometimes, no matter how hard a company tries, any moisturizer with SPF will also have a kind of smell to it as well.
Bare Minerals, Bare Skin Liquid Serum Foundation, is truly weightless, fragrance free, even with the SPF you can't "feel" it, but it has to be a good match for your skin. For me, that means not at all even the slightest bit dry, combination or sensitive. But if you have skin like mine, that is great with other products from BE, the only way you'll know if this works for you, is to try it first. I suggest going to a boutique (if you can), I though I haven't had one done, get a "Make Under." That way you can wear the product for a day and see if it works for you.
I will continue to use my Bare Mineral Original Foundation, and many other products from BE!
Peace and Beauty!

I now use fairly light power foundation. Which color would I use in this new one? It is good for mature skin with winkles?
I just ran out of my foundation and would like a quick response please. Thank you.
I wear the same shade, Bare Linen was my shade match in the Bare Skin Liquid foundation, and I could have also gone with the Bare Shell (the only cool tone in the Light category for this product). As far as the second part of your question, some mature skin women are loving it, and some women who don't even have "mature" skin, are not. For exaample, it just didn't work for my skin. So my advice, visit an Ulta or Bare Minerals Boutique to try it in person. If you can't do that, they have samples they are presently offering (the kind in a pouch) with each online order on this website. I also found, that through trying the new one, that I might like the Ready forumlation the same or better than the original, but I don't know yet, so again, go with samples.

All my best, and good luck!

What is the Perfecting Face Brush made of?
Is this brush made from Goat Hair or Synthetic Hair?
It's a synthetic bristle brush, and it's fabulous!

Will you need the Foundation Primer?
i was wondering if you will still need the foundation primer with this new liquid foundation as you do with the mineral powder foundation?
Since you already own a primer, the best thing to do will be to experiment with and without it. Generally speaking, having tried the product, and knowing a lot of other people who have as well, try it first without the primer. Once you have the product you will understand. It is better without it, but everyone's experience has been different.

does the brush automatically come with the foundation or is that a seperate purchase?
I just wanted to know will the brush always come with the bottle of foundation or will that be separate purchase and not included in the 29 price?
On this website, and in the boutiques, etc., it's a separate purchase, but one you won't regret making!
