Great introduction to BareSkin
Rating
5 out of 5

Pros: great introduction
If you have a brush suitable for applying the powder already, this is a great introduction to BareSkin. The price is not much higher than the Perfecting Face Brush by itself, and you get a smaller size foundation and powder with it. The powder is much more suited to this foundation than the regular Mineral Veil.
I would recommend getting an extra Well-Cared For with this as you will need to clean the Perfecting Face Brush more often than the others.

Excellent brush for liquid/serum foundation
Rating
5 out of 5

Pros: excellent, does the job it was designed for
Cons: a bit hard to clean
Though it was a bit expensive, I made sure to get this brush with the BareSkin liquid/serum foundation. It really does make a difference. I have had no issues cleaning either of the two brushes I have, though it's possible to tell the newer one from the older one.
This brush can be a bit hard to clean compared to other brushes, but it's easier if you clean it more often (two to three times more often than a powder foundation brush). To dry, I set mine down vertically with the bristles resting on a paper towel and leaning up against something, and have had no issues getting it to dry relatively quickly.

The most tedious part of wearing makeup for me has always been cleaning the brushes. With that, whoever came up with the idea for Quick Change spray is a genius. As long as you follow the directions to the letter, this product works exactly as advertised.

This does a great job of cleaning brushes. To some it may seem like the price point is a little high, but it lasts a long time; I've been using the same bottle for quite a while now.

This is a really nice blush brush. I've been using it for about two years and it's held up very well. I definitely recommend getting this blush brush as opposed to a cheaper drugstore/grocery store blush brush if you're using Bare Minerals. It is worth it.

Questions

Which brush is recommended for best results with this product?
Description is vague, saying only "brush or included puff."

How long should one full container last?
If based on your own use, indicate if you wear every day, working days only, etc. (I know this will vary based on a lot of factors, but I've been asked this a lot and I doubt my experience is typical.)

How do I clean this brush?
What's the best cleanser to use? What's the proper way to clean it?
I use Well-Cared For, perhaps a bit more than the usual "dime-sized" amount recommended, and rinse about 5-6 times. It is a bit harder to clean than the other brushes designed for original, matte, or READY formulas, and for this reason I would recommend cleaning it twice to three times as often.

when you use the bareskin, do you still wear the primer and minerial veil
Out of mineral veil and came across the bareskin!
At one time I used primer with this, but not anymore. I use Mineral Veil with this foundation, in fact now it is the only foundation I really use Mineral Veil with (I alternate between this and the matte powder, depending on the day's schedule).

What other bm products will the smoothing face brush work well on
I would like to use it with regular bare minerals.
The brush seems to be designed for only the bareSkin serum foundation. I wouldn't recommend trying it with anything else.

I've been having issues cleaning my Perfecting Face Brush even after watching the video and washing it often. The foundation never seems to end. Tips?
I am using the Perfecting Face Brush with the bareSkin Foundation and washing it once a week with the Well-Cared For Brush Shampoo. Whenever I wash it, I tend to repeat the wash about 7 times and there is still excess foundation coming out. Do you have any tips for cleaning the brush? Will washing it twice a week wear out the brush? Thanks!
The last time I washed mine, it took about five rinses to get the foundation out. It's possible you're using too much foundation, though the complaint that the brush is hard to clean is rather common from other reviews I have read online. You shouldn't need to wash it twice a week (once a week should be plenty).

ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation - Medium Beige
ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation - Medium Beige
The one and only foundation that started it all.

Where did the original shades go? I have used "medium" for years. What now?
Please advise what matches medium in the new shades.
Just checked and "medium" is still there. None of the original shades were discontinued, only new ones were added.
