I was honestly disappointed in this one. It's a little too full-depth. It doesn't give a narrow line. I much much prefer the Full-edged liner brush--it is fabulous! I've tried using the angled liner for my brows, and it doesn't do very well for me there either. Hope someone else likes it better!

I purchased this for travel - been using BE for years. It's a great starter kit, giving you both the original foundation and the matte. I don't care for the matte for myself, but my adult daughter loves it. Love Bisque and the new tinted mineral veil. Also like the brushes very much for purse or travel. I have very dry skin, and I don't have a problem with it emphasizing my lines (@ 58 I have lots of them!) as another reviewer said. The size "small" is the standard size jar of the eye shadows. Yes they are small. If you want bigger, buy the regular products, not this "try believe love"kit. You are gettting a lot of products to try, plus 2 nice brushes, all a great value for $20!

The brushes are worth the price alone! But I love the duo tropical/pure radience, and I don't have any problem at all with the sifter/click-lock-go. I don't know how it can be a mess unless you turn it upside down while it's open and shake out wayyyy too much to use. I love these new sifters with the "dial" and will buy more if they are offered!!!!!!
The colors are nice, though not my favorites, they are fun to try for something a little different. Also LOVE the tinted mineral veil! I will be buying more of that and mixing some with my regular MV! I'm fair skinned and it looks great on me! Thanks for such a great kit!

Love this ....bought my adult daughter one and she loves it. Decided to try it myself - wow. It does help! My only complaint is that I wish we could buy "refills" at a lesser cost. Don't need a new brush every time I run out. I do wash my brushes! Thanks for a simple to use, great product.

This cleanser took a little getting used to because i usually use a lotion. However, it makes great sense to just add a little water to the powder...saves space, saves weight in shipping etc. so we get more for our money.
The cleanser does a great job. It doesn't have the nice perfumey scents we're used to, but that's ok, because it is healthier that way! It cleanses the skin nicely, and doesn't leave it feeling stripped. I'm ordering more today!

This brush does a nice job but it isn't my favorite. I am frustrated that the little tube/cap for the fine line end is so small that I couldn't put it back on, and I keep my brushes standing ready in a cup, which means the brush hairs get all bent. The fine end is very fine and works very well for a fine liner. For shadow, I actually like the full edged liner brush for applying shadow across the eyelid best! It does a great job of lining also!

I love this cute set. The colored handle on the blush brush is fun, the case is just right for a blush or two, brush, and lipstick. The blush colors are great..don't let the bright pink "hot shot" scare you...just a little works great!

I'm confused. E/s are called Matte, Sheen, Glimpses and Glimmers.
Please, what is the difference between a sheen, a glimpse and a glimmer?

powder eyeliner - how do you keep it from falling onto your lower lid?
I find that with some of my eye brushes when I use shadow or powder eyeliner to line my eye (specifically the lower lids) I will find bits of the color on my lower lash and eye lid and find it difficult to remove without smearing ~ any tips or tricks?
you can try laying a piece of tissue or cotton pad underneath your eye to catch the fallout, or just use a dry or slightly dampened Q-tip to pick up the fall out when you are finished

Do you wear warmth and blush together?
The cosmetic person wasn't very clear on this and sold me both. Should I wear just one or both?
Warmth is very concentrated...you just want a teeeny weeeny little bit on your brush, then very lightly touch your cheeks, chin, forehead...
If you want more color, add a wee bit of blush or all over face color or radience....just try it and see what you like! Somedays I wear both, some days I just do blush, some days I just do warmth. Again, play with it and do what you like!

Why is there only one tip for Mature Eyes? Are we supposed to limit the colors we wear?
I would like to see more info for older women. I love Bare Minerals, but need tips on how to do brows (they get different as we get older), how to go from office to evening without looking harsh, etc.
what's this "supposed to" of which you speak, hmmm? Play with your colors. Try out new things and see what works, wash off what you don't like! I am quite conservative and don't do a lot of high shine stuff, but I've gotten bolder as I've aged. I wear glasses too, which means I need to be a little bolder for it to be seen! Do what pleases you and don't worry about it!

what eye shadow colors should I use
I have always used blue tones and wonder now that time is passing if I should be looking at different tones
Use what you like! I love the blues also. For a long time, blues were a "no-no" but they seem to be coming back. I use what I like, but I'm tryin to branch out with different color combos that I normally haven't tried. Be adventureous and play with them some evening at home. Then you can wash it off if you don't like it! For some more great ideas, go into the Experience Tab above, then Color Addiction, and Tips and Advice. I also go to the Bare Escentuals page on Facebook, and there are lots of tips and photos of ladies doing their eyes ...it's quite informative, and has helped me to branch out! Good luck!

When using the foundation, it always comes out powdery looking or not smooth particularly around my nose. What am I doing wrong?
I like the feel of the foundation and that it stays on most of the day but you can tell I am wearing makeup. How do I get it to look natural looking and not so powdery? I have tried wetting the brush a little bit and that has helped but it doesn't go smooth around my nose.
be sure you have moisturized if you use it, then use the foundation primer. A little goes a long way. Then do a light coverage and buff. Make sure the minerals are tucked up in the bristles, not visible. If you put it on too heavy to start with, it will look powdery. That happens to me when I get in too big a hurry and try to put on too much at once. Even so, it doesn't take long to apply, so do a light layer, buff, and then go back again if needed, and buff!

can older women with extremely dry skin use these products
i am 58 post menopause with very dry skin,everything seems to leave my face feeling tight and miserable . will this product be ok to use on my skin
I also am 58 as of 3 days ago, and am post meopause, breast cancer survivor. I use it and I like it. I'm not one to like heavy cleansing creams. If you like those, you may not like this. But I don't feel like this strips my skin. I always put my moisturizer on after I wash my face, so that takes care of it.
