Great for a smoky eye

Giddy is a super sheer pale pink, it is a very feminine color. I have very white skin so I had to use a little bit more of this color to get it to show up than I do with most BE eye shadows. Once I had enough of it on I was very pleased with the results.
Do Not Disturb is a very dark sparkling black color. Since the READY eye shadows are packed really tight I barely had to touch my brush into this color to pick up enough color. It is VERY easy to overdo this color, so be very careful. Since it is so dark I ended up using it as a liner shadow rather than an eye shadow. I then gently smudged it into the crease corner.
Once I realized what a light hand to use when applying Do Not Disturb I really loved the results. Since one color is super dark & the other is super light they ended up looking great together.

Clumpiest mascara I've ever used

When I heard about this mascara I had to have it. I've never used an eyelash curler tool before because I was afraid it would damage my lashes, so when I saw this mascara I thought it would be perfect for me. What a great concept!
For the first month of using it I noticed it was much clumpier than the Original Flawless Definition. The brush held way too much of the mascara and left clumps on my lashes, along with clumping some of my lashes together. I also didn't see that my lashes were curled or lengthened any more than with the Original mascara.
As time went on I noticed this mascara was getting clumpier and the brush was holding more and more mascara on it each morning when I pulled it out of the tube. Finally, one morning I went to pull the brush out of the tube and it was a little bit stuck (it didn't come out easily). I pulled a little harder and the mascara wand literally had a ball of mascara surrounding it. The mascara had become so clumped that the wand pulled most of it out of the tube! I literally had to scrape the mascara off the wand to even be able to see the wand!
I highly recommend the Original Flawless Definition mascara, which I adore, it is the best mascara I've ever used! The Volumizing version is good, I like it, but the Original is definitely still my favorite. Instead of buying this Curl & Lengthen version you I recommend you buy either of the other 2 versions. You won't be disappointed!

Purple is my favorite color & when I heard Leslie say that the Brightening Opal Primer is similar in color to Clear Radiance I had to buy this kit! It did not disappoint!
Flawless Definition Mascara (Black) - This is my favorite mascara EVER! I prefer this over the Curl & Lengthen and Volumizing formulas. This brush has the perfect amount of bristles to separate and define all my lashes whereas the brushes on the other 2 formulas are so full of bristles the mascara clumps really easily. This mascara works like it has a built in lash comb to perfectly separate each lash while you're applying it.
Brightening Opal Eyelid Primer - Clear Radiance is my favorite Radiance by far & Leslie was so right that this is like Clear Radiance in primer form. It is a soft, shimmery pink, and it's not glittery at all which is perfect! I use this as my base color from my lashes to my crease, this color is so gorgeous you don't need a separate eye shadow to use with it!
Double-Ended Eyeliner (Black Iris) - I used the Smudge Brush that comes with this kit to apply the Black Iris end of this pencil onto the outer corners of my eye & smudged it up into the crease. The purple color looks so pretty paired with the pink tone of the Brightening Opal Primer.
Double-Ended Eyeliner (Slate) - I used this end of the eyeliner pencil to line my upper lashes only. It is a perfect smoky dark color to match the colorful primer & the Black Iris.
Get this Limited Edition kit while you can. Worth the price alone just for the Brightening Opal Eyelid Primer! I hope they will sell this on it's own in the future for when I use this one up.

Surprisingly sheer & feminine!

This eye color is described as "dark" but I found that it actually goes on fairly sheer. It is super blendable & such a pretty color. I use it as a crease color & also a smoky liner shadow (on top of my Oz eye liner pencil). It has just the right amount of shimmer, it's not too glittery at all. It is one of my new faves! I know Elphaba would love it!

I waited awhile to buy this because I thought it wouldn't make a big difference in how my eye shadow applied onto my eyes & that I didn't need additional staying power. Boy was I wrong!
When using this I don't have to apply as much eye shadow (as I did without the primer) to get the desired look. So now I will get additional uses out of my fave eye shadows - SCORE!
Before I tried the Primer I didn't think my eye shadow faded throughout the day so I did an experiment. I applied the exact same eye look with and without the Primer. There was a huge difference at the end of the day! Without the Primer the colors became more muted as the day went on, but with the Primer the colors looked as fresh & true to form as when I first applied them.
Another plus, since this goes on sheer it doesn't interfere with any of the eye shadows at all. Also, you only have to use a small amount to cover the entire eyelid so this tube lasts a long time.
This product is a no-brainer necessity!

Don't let the glitter scare you

I bought this kit to try out the new High Shine Eyecolors and was not disappointed. Just a tip, because these eye colors truly are "High Shine" after applying this kit I had to take my concealer brush with some foundation on it & sweep it under my eye as some glitter landed there when I was applying it (see my notes on messiness below).
Eyelid Primer (Original): This goes on smoothly and you only need to use a small amount for the entire eye area. Since this is the Original Eyelid Primer it goes on totally sheer & doesn't interfere at all with your eye makeup. It's perfect for this kit as the 2 eye shadow products are so shimmery you don't need any extra from the primer.
High Shine Eyecolor (Luster): I watched a How To video for the High Shine that Jessica F. made on You Tube and it was really helpful for a new user like me. I gave this kit 4 out of 5 hearts only because this is messy when pulling the wand out of the tube & when first applying. I followed Jessica's instructions to twist the wand as you pull it out of the tube & wiped it on the rim but it still was a little messy. For a more natural look I dabbed the wand on my eyelid only once, then used my finger to spread the color over my eyelid. You can also use a brush or the sponge wand itself. I tried all three ways and I like the naturalness of using my finger the best. If you want a really strong look the wand is the best to use. I also noticed that once this is applied it is harder to blend than regular BE eye shadows. Jessica mentioned in the video that these are "long wearing" so I am guessing that is why they're a bit harder to blend.
Eye Shadow (Rock Star): Don't be afraid! This looks super dark & glittery in the pot but it goes on surprisingly sheer & isn't too shimmery. I used it for a soft crease color and also used it as a smoky eye liner & loved the results! So pretty & works well this way for daytime as well!
Mascara (Volumizing): I slightly prefer the Original Flawless Definition mascara over this one. The Volumizing brush is just too big & crowded for me which made the mascara somewhat clumpy. I like how the Original coats & separates the lashes whereas this one just coats them.
All in all a great kit. Can be dramatic or natural depending on how you apply it. As a user of BE for 5+ years this kit took me longer than normal to apply because the High Shine Eyecolor is so different from anything I've used from BE before. But I did like the results so if you just allow yourself a little extra time if you're new to this product as I was you'll be happy with the results.

Great substitute for lipstick

I have sensitive skin, including my lips, so I have never been able to wear lipstick. I tend to do okay with glosses, so this full-color gloss is a great substitute for me. I have really white skin so I was afraid Raquel would be too dark for me, but if I put a thin coat on, it warms up my skin color nicely. I love the pink/gold coloring this has.
I gave this 4 out of 5 hearts because after applying a second coat of Raquel the lovely "tingling" sensation started to become not so lovely. My sensitive skin made the tingling-agent in this create a slightly uncomfortable feeling on my lips. For anyone with sensitive skin be careful, I think I'll only apply this once per day to be safe.

Like a great facial massage!

I own the regular Flawless Application Face Brush and had never tried this "Full" version, I thought it would be the same brush just a little bigger. Boy was I wrong! It is big and puffy so it is so much softer than the regular brush. It felt so nice on my skin when I tried it, I just loved it.
To me it applies the foundation a little bit sheerer and softer than the regular version. If you want more of a medium coverage of your foundation I recommend the regular "Flawless Application Face Brush" but if you want a sheerer and lighter application use this "Full" version.

This color is a gorgeous pale gold with just the right amount of shimmer. I have super white skin so I was afraid this color would be too light, but it is absolutely perfect. It makes an awesome base shade from lash to crease. Queen Phyllis is such a sweet and feminine color, it is also very versatile and goes well with many of the other eye shadow colors.

Even though this color is listed as being in the brown family I actually think it has quite a bit of green in it as well.
I'm giving it 3 out of 5 hearts for 2 reasons:
1) It doesn't blend as well as most BE eye shadows, it takes more elbow grease to spread the color.
2) It takes quite a bit of product to get the color to show up, even on my pale white skin, since my skin is so fair I normally don't have to use much shadow. I was surprised how much shadow it took on this one, especially since the color looks fairly dark in the pot.

ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation - Fair
The one and only foundation that started it all.
Is there a way to remove the Click-Lock-Go sifter to get the last bits of makeup?
I used to remove the sifter from the pot whenever I was down to the last bits of makeup (so I wouldn't throw away good makeup). Now with the new Click-Lock-Go sifter I haven't been able to get it off. Has anyone figured out a way to get it off?

what is the difference betwen the Radiance products and the All Over Color products?
I have med. skin with yellow skin tones and blonde hair, green eyes. I am confused.
Radiance products are super sheer and add a soft illumination to your face wherever you apply them, they work as a highlighting product. The best spots are the high points of your face such as above your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, etc. The All-Over Face colors are somewhat sheer also (more sheer than the blushes), but they add just a hint of color wherever they are applied. For example the Warmth All-Over Face color can be applied to the points on your face where the sun normally hits, like your forehead, chin, cheeks, tip of the nose, etc to give you a sun-kissed look. The Radiances have a sheer, soft bit of sheen to them, whereas the All-Over Face Colors tend to be more matte in texture and have a hint of color.

Do all of the color products have sparkle or glimmer or something in them?
I'm trying to find some kind of blush or all over color that doesn't had glitter, sparkle or whatever you want to call it to my face. Thanks.
Any products that have the word "matte" in the description won't have any sparkle, shimmer, glitter, or glimmer to them. If you don't see the word "matte" somewhere on the product page it is most likely a glimmery product.

i ant to order the tinted mineral for my next order but im worried that it might be too dark wit the warmth also, i want a natural look that will
make me look like im naturally beautiful. i dont like tolook likei have a bunch of powder and make up caked on my face. i already use a mixture of medium beige and medium tan arter i use the bisque concealer(which i dont like very much) ut i have dark circles under my eyes then i use warmth then veil and i feel ik imcaking my face when im only trying to elimanate the dark circles under my eyes so any hints or suggestionswould be appreciated thaks
I use Warmth and Tinted Mineral Veil every day. I have super white skin (I use Fair/Fairly Light foundation) and it doesn't look like I have makeup or bronzer caked on. It sounds like you have darker skin than me, so if I can use these 2 products you definitely can too. With the Warmth and Tinted Mineral Veil it is all about how much product you use. For the Warmth I only use a couple pin pricks of the product. For the Tinted Mineral Veil I use just a tiny bit more than the Warmth. Also, the brush you use to apply these is important since you want just a subtle wash of each of these. I use the Soft Sweep Cheek Brush to apply the Warmth and the Flawless Application Face Brush for the Tinted Mineral Veil. Just sweeping these 2 products on, rather than buffing, helps give them a subtle look as well.

is there any face powder available that i can apply without putting foundation.
I would recommend the Tinted Mineral Veil if you want to skip putting on foundation and just have a soft finish on your skin. Since you are in the Medium color family for foundation the Tinted Mineral Veil will also work great for you as a finishing powder if you have any days you want to wear foundation. The Tinted Mineral Veil adds just the slightest hint of a healthy, warm glow to the skin.

1. Was the spf version of mineral vail ever an aqua green container top instead of the usual black version. i have one that is aqua green top ,and i am afraid it is not authentic. Have they changed the packaging over years????????

1. The aqua top means it probably came with a kit originally. BE likes to make lids & makeup brush handles different colors for some kits, but the products & brushes are authentic & exactly the same. The lid colors/makeup handle colors don't change the products at all. Also, If you bought your product from BE directly or through one of their authorized distributors such as QVC, Sephora, etc you have no need to worry about authenticity.
2. I have the whitest of white skin & can guarantee you the Tinted Mineral Veil works for anyone. The Original Mineral Veil goes on sheer, whereas the Tinted adds a super soft layer of healthy color. If you're very fair like me you just need one light coat of the Tinted Mineral Veil to add a healthy glow. It doesn't add color like Warmth or any of the products like that, just a wash of subtle "I got a great night's sleep" glow.

No, not on this online version at least. You might try going into a Bare Escentuals store. When I got this kit at a BE store the choices they gave me were slightly different than the choices the website lists.

Prime Time Foundation Primer
Our amazing, preservative-free foundation primer.
I was looing for non-comedogenic primer
I was told that prime time is non-comedogenic so I got one.
But I look at the ingredients and it contains DIMETHICONE which I was told that blocks the pores and enlarges them as a result.
So is it a go or no-go?
I am looking the ways that does the minimal damage to my already large pores.

I recommend you try the "Prime Time Oil Control Foundation Primer" instead. It is made for dry & sensitive skin and is AWESOME. I have severely sensitive skin and it works much better for me than this original version. It is gentler and doesn't make my skin oily or greasy like this one does.

A rejuvenating foundation primer that exfoliates and clarifies.
What's the difference between Skin Rev-er Upper and the Prime Time?
What's the difference between the two? Is Rev-er Upper something I should use instead do to starting to see age lines in my face?
Skin Rev-er Upper has vitamins and exfoliating acids in it to try to even out the skin. This product is a skin treatment. The Prime Time is a product than you put on your face as the last step of your morning routine to give your foundation more staying power.
