Disappointed with the coverage

I'm a long term customer of BE products. There have only been a few 'misses' for me over the years, and the Pure Brightening Serum Foundation is one of them, unfortunately. Even with the maximum 6 drops it doesn't cover any better than a drug store liquid foundation#I've even used more than the recommended maximum to no avail#. It also dries very shiny, requiring the use of a LOT of Mineral Veil, which I don't care for. It seems to "pill" or "peel", even though I use moisturizer underneath, a must, since I have very dry skin. Lastly, by the time I've used my Original Bare Minerals foundation as concealer, I may as well wash my face and start over with my tried and true product preferences!

I've used BE products for many years now and usually always love what I've purchased. However, as with the powder form concealer products, even the lightest shade is NOT light enough, it ends up looking like dark blotch no matter what I do to manipulate it. Hopefully, BE could add a couple of lighter shades to the product line at some point. Thanks, GreenEyedGranny

Comparison to similar products on the market
I've used Benefit Erase Paste and Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer for the dark circles under my eyes, and they worked great, except for a slight drying and creasing under my eyes. Has anyone tried these and how does BareEscentuals correcting concealer compare?
I've not tried the 2 products you mentioned, but HAVE tried many other brands/products for concealer and the only thing I've found that works without spending a lot of time to apply is Bare Minerals Foundation in powder form. I don't care for the BE Correcting Concealer as even the lightest one isn't light enough, and ends up looking like brown spots on my skin. I use one shade of Original Bare Minerals for foundation, and a different shade to use as concealer. Using enough moisturizer under the eyes helps the foundation powder from looking too dry.
