When my package arrived I could hardly wait to see and feel the product. I was in my car and as I opened the compact I looked at the shade with puzzlement... Of the two shade choices I had chosen the one that indicated NO pink tone “The Shining Moment” as I do not have pink undertones nor do I use pink colored products - they simply are not flattering... as what I was looking at looked like a shimmery flesh tone ( a little pinkish) powder.
Shaking the skepticism off, I pulled my portable/retractable flawless brush out of my purse and dusted it off on a tissue and gave the Luminizer a few taps and swept it lightly in the areas where I normally highlight (above cheekbones, across brow, down bridge of nose), basically everywhere I contour with light. I snapped the compact closed and opened the larger car mirror.
Nice! It gave my face a glow without being too glittery. There is definite sheen/sparkle to the product and I could see it very minimally on my face. With time, I am confident it will be a regular element of my contouring routine.
Not so nice: There should have been some guidance on best brush to use as well as some guidance on application. Until the READY products are mainstream and integrated with those of us who are heavily hesitant to make the transition or even the addition to our collections there needs to be some guidance on use/application.
I am very familiar with my quite extensive BE brush collection and can normally look at a product, decide how I am going to use it and easily pick out the appropriate brush. The READY lines and stream of new READY products are not familiar and should either be paired and sold with a new brush if one has been developed for it or there should be a recommendation.
Words of caution: This could easily become shiny with over application. I can say that the flawless application brush is too heavy; thankfully I used a very light hand and light touch. Once again - a very little goes a long, long way.
As a long time user of BE, I am struggling with the READY line - I find the products not of the same feel, texture or caliber of the original loose powders and find myself falling back on my consistent original BE products. As a customer of over 15 years... must say, the originals are still my preference.

Surprisingly Useful!

As I matured, what little bit of oily skin I had as a late teen or in my early twenties dissipated, but sometimes at the end of the day (especially a long day in summer) I will have an unwanted amount of shine or flat out want to wash my face and start all over again due to an evening engagement that I do not have time to go home and completely re-do myself for. I took a chance on these sheets and wow... really, just wow.
These sheets have a substantial texture to them that is much better than anything else I have seen on the market ( most brands look like gift wrapping tissue paper ). When gently applied to the skin, these magical sheets pull away that moisture/oiliness of the day and pick up virtually none of my BE make-up.
It's like magic.
What is also great is that I find them reducing the buildup of deposits on my "to-go" BE brushes because they are lifting away a good measure of what would otherwise be mixed in and smeared around on my face with the clean minerals had I not used the sheets.
I don't use them daily, nor can I speak as one with true oily skin - but as I described above, these beauties are indispensible! Great find that I didn't even really consider for years as I don't have oily skin but I'm telling ya' ladies - they work great for those late evening/end of day touch ups.

Even if the concealer shade in this kit is too light for you, you can darken it up with some darker foundation you have on hand (I always have a few shades darker around so that I can low light and contour) - for this price point you are getting an awesome deal. The treatment works, period. It is gentle but effective!
Another option if the concealer shade isn't right for you - it's a small pot, and you can easily dump it sparingly into your regular foundation over time to consume it and reap the benefits of the higher spf without washing out your color.
That IS the beauty of all BE products, they are so smooth and of the same particulate size that you can mix and blend as you wish and never really mess anything up. C'mon ladies, if you like the treatment, this deal can't be beat especially with the brushes included.

Sexy Brush!

This full coverage Kabuki is amazing for when you want to dust your shoulders or décolleté area with any of the beautiful body minerals BE has; Jade, Platinum, Pearl, Gold, etc. It is delicious to use and will make you feel as sexy and bare as using this luscious brush. Depending on the gown or clothing, sometimes I also dust the back of my calves and the tops of my feet when wearing a pair of stunning high heels with a split-hem.
A great brush if you enjoy BE's body powders - it feels amazing and gives wonderful results!

A New Must Have - I Love it!

This gem is now a regular in my nightly facial routine. While I feel blessed by my family genes in that I receive compliments on how old I 'look', I decided about 2 years ago that wasn't going to last forever and that I had better begin a skin care routine to help me maintain what I can of my youthful appearance as I near the 40 year mark.
True, I probably should have started in my 20's (my advice to all the 20 something’s out there is that it's never too early to start to concern yourself with skin integrity and care) but I didn't. I too received a sample of this lovely product prior to Christmas and can say that with a solid 16 days or so of use - I am thoroughly impressed. I see a reduction in the traces of morning puffiness, a more taught feel to my skin all day, every day and a general more youthful appearance.
I love it!
Sure, you may question the price point but we all have something we do not skimp on - for me, it's me. I love my premium coffees and I love my BE collection and regular deliveries of products. I am a BE Purist and this is a wonderful addition to my self indulgence as well as my skin.
Try it once - if you aren't completely convinced then you can say you tried it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised and will add it to your routine.
Note: it should go without saying but I will say it anyway for those still haggling with the price point - as with all BE products, a little goes a long way. I am nowhere near done with my sample and I have already purchased the full size.

Much like the Jade Retractable, this brush is awesome, high quality and multi functional. Great design, great quality brush in a nice compact rectract that drops into your purse, computer bag or travel kit for flawless application on the go. Amazing Deal on BE Eye Essentials!!

This trio of BE Eye fabulous kits combined make up the quintessential tools for anyone who is looking to create a well stocked, solid BE Eye Arsenal. I have purchased each of these kits, some more than once, for their amazing value and versatility. To see them offered here in this bundle at just over $11 each is amazing! I recommend each one and would emphasize that you seriously look at the kits contents; the Intro Kit (my personal favorite) more than pays for itself with an eye buffing brush you cannot get anywhere else and a full Eyeshadow sized pot of Flaunt which is great for any skin tone and eye color and a full sized Big and Bright eyeliner. Those three alone are worth 3X the cost of the kit in this bundle. A Sweet Deal and a Fabulous Little Kit!

I have purchased this kit several times... but let me tell you why. It isn't because I need the refresher training.
It's simply a great deal; the eyeshadow brush is fabulous and versatile - it's one of the quintessential BE brushes for eyeshadow application and there is no 'having too many'. Second, you get a full sized Big and Bright eyeliner, a regular sized eyeshadow pot, the ULTRA-FAB eyelid primer and mini mascara!
When I'm short on time in the morning and literally do not have the 10 minutes it takes me to do my full BareMinerals make-up application (I know, hard to believe that I might be so late that I can't fit it in... but it happens), this eyeshadow color is what I grab.
Flaunt is the absolute perfect stand alone shade when I can't create the regular contouring of my eyes that is part of my 'full routine', and when paired with the Granite Big and Bright eyeliner the look is amazingly finished with little to no effort. Flaunt is a surprisingly forgiving shade on all skin tones; it defines, provides depth and contour. Depending on your skin tone, the application may differ some, but I haven’t seen a woman yet who couldn’t utilize this shade as the sole eyeshadow applied.
This kit gives me what I need to have BE complete eyes in less than 5 minutes - and that includes my full BE Rever-Uppers, Prime Time primers, Foundation, Warmth and Mineral Veil applications.
If you're looking for an eye kit to try and want to keep it simple, this is it.

Does this product help diminish acne scars?
I am light skined and I have acne scars mostly all over my face. I have being looking for a product that will help diminish my scars for the longest time but have not had any luck. Before trying the Active Cell Renewal Night Serum I wanted to know if this product could help deminish the scars in my face.
While I can't speak to the acne scar reduction, I just wanted to chime in and say that I have medium pigmented skin and any 'event' on my face can leave me with discoloration or varying color spots.
I love the Active Cell Renewal Night Serum - I have found it a great overall cell renewal booster that both diminishes those discolorations or variations as well as reduces puffiness and increases the taught, youthful spring to the skin (and I saw significant enough results with the sample sent to me before Christmas that I went ahead and ordered 2 full sized bottles). The Deluxe sample bottle lasted me longer than the 7 days I believe it is intended for ( I got just past 2 weeks of use out of mine ), though I did apply it to slightly damp skin and used it sparingly which is why it lasted so long. If you apply it to dry skin you'll find you will need to triple the amount used.
And honestly, it simply absorbs better into the skin when it is warm and damp which is probably why it lasted me so long.

When will this product come back in stock? I love lash builder but I haven't been able to find it anywhere for at least a month. I hope it didn't get discontinued.
It is back in stock - you should be able to find it online. If you don't see it as available, give the great BE customer service number a call. I did this about 2 months ago, before it was back on the website and was able to pick up 2 through the CS phone number.

To answer your question, it really depends on the coverage you need and if you’re doing any under eye coverage for dark circles or shallow skin tone. I definitely recommend that you use the Prime Time Face primer all over your face, to give you even and complete coverage, regardless.
Going a step further, if you are using any sort of product under the eye like Bisque/concealer or Well Rested to even out the under eye tone due to circles or darkness, I suggest using the Prime Time Eye primer gently rolled onto the under eye skin over the Prime Time face primer before any under eye Bare Mineral face makeup. This will greatly increase the effectiveness while decreasing the amount you need to apply for optimal coverage.

Lotion Underneath?
I have combination skin and love the feeling and effects of prime time, but my skin still needs some moisturizing (especially in the winter) along with prime time - If I put lotion on first, and then the prime time, will it block the prime time from being able to fully penetrate my skin and limit its full benefits?
Or should I switch to the Skin Rever-Upper instead of Prime Time, since it is also moisturizing?

I would try using the Skin Rever-Upper before trying a moisturizer. This is my personal daily regime, has been for a few years now, and I LOVE it - it does not block the functionality of Prime Time at all, in fact it helps with distribution and I find I achieve better coverage of the Prime Time when I use the Rever-Upper first.

What specifically is the difference between the two Prime Time Primers?
Which primer is the best to use for someone with normal/combination skin...the one with the black lid or the white lid? The descriptions aren't clear to me.

Yes, the pictured brush is included and I do find it adequate for spot treatment - this isn't intended for an all over face application.
It is not a foundation - it is a spot treatment.
